If this weird mage expected fear and pleas of mercy from us then he is in for a lot of disappointment Percy thought. Apparently Ivy thought the same thing because she said out loud "Mate, for someone supposedly so powerful you are truly dumb, do we look like historians to you?"

Kronos was dumbfounded by her answer "Do you not realize the precariousness of your situation?! How dare you disrespect me!" Percy was also shocked at how calmly Ivy was taking the situation, he was about to say something when Ivy said "At a loss for words eh? All powerful my ass". Percy wouldn't laughed out loud at that if he didn't notice how Kronos's eyes started glowing purple. He quickly intervened and said "Umm don't worry er mister Kronos, we know most of the modern history and can fill you in".

Kronos nodded at him and said "At least you can show respect when it's demanded, you on the other hand..." He looked at Ivy with disgust and spoke "Ym dab huc" suddenly the chains around Ivy tightened and she started to scream in pain. "I warned you little fool, now suffer the consequences". Ivy kept struggling and shouting in pain, but Kronos turned to Percy and said "Now speak, if you value your compstriot's life".

Percy quickly launched into an explanation from 2020 to the present year, being as straight to the point as possible and skipping over uneventful years. In 5 minutes he had explained all of it, Percy stopped and looked at Ivy, only to see her skin starting to melt–melt in the places where the chains touched her skin. He said "I've upheld my promise! Now do your part!"

Kronos sighed and snapped his fingers, instantly the chains loosened up and her skin healed back to its original state, though Ivy seemed far from okay. I have to get her out of here, but how? He used morse code to ask her how she was doing, after a few long seconds she replied in morse I'm coping, I have an idea, trust me okay? The last thing Percy wanted to do was follow her plan, especially after the stunt she pulled but agreed in morse code.

Kronos had turned his back against them and ended their morse conversation by turning around and laughing. He said "This is too good! The world has fallen into chaos, magic is nowhere to be seen, basically gone from this world and people have forgotten the threat that I am! Master was correct!"

So he does have a superior thought Percy but who could it be? I should ask him But when Percy opened his mouth he found himself asking "What do you mean magic is almost gone, I thought it was supposed to be eternal?" Kronos replied "Oh don't believe those foolish fairy tails, Magic is indirectly proportioned to technology! When one improves the other reduces! And since the world is so technologocally advanced it..." Suddenly Ivy interrupted "Blah blah blah mate, I didn't know you were a nerd as well as a magician! Though looking at you I should've expected it".

Welp, time to think of an excuse of how she died in battle, I doubt her parents will accept 'death by powerful mage due to making fun of him' as a good explanation for why their daughter is dead Percy thought. But he was surprised when Kronos actually laughed out loud and said "you amuse me with your new words and attitude, I may keep you as a jester! Just to provide me with entertainment!" Ivy smirked and said "If you free my hands for a minute I can show you something even better". Kronos snorted and said "I am not stupid young one, I know you'll try to attack me..though considering the fact that you would be good practise..sure why not come at me, let's see what you got".

To Percy's awe the chains around Ivy disappeared and she stood up and faced the ancient mage. However instead of charging him she put her left hand to her ear and spoke "Scorpius, engage cryon manoeuvres." Kronos just looked at her with confusion on his pale face but Percy understood what she had just said. He ducked down a bit to avoid what was about to happen and prayed Ivy's plan would work.

Kronos asked "What was that you just blurted? Did my magic drive you insane?" Ivy just smiled and said "No, I'm just showing you some of our technology". Right on cue the wall to her right exploded as the front part of her Mech Scorpius emerged, it broke the remainfer of the wall with it's claws and shot one of the shock charges on its right claw. The charge hit Kronos and hurdled him into the room and caused a mini explosion as the room collapsed inwards on him. The last thing Percy saw and heard was his jaw dropping and his scream of rage as he was thrown back.

Percy's chains suddenly disappeared and he instantly got up and picked up Ivy's pistol from the ground. Ivy said "Neat trick eh?" Percy shook his head and said "You and your damn plans". Ivy replied "Alright mate, you got a better one than?" Percy said "As a matter of fact I do, get into your mech and go back to the surface to warn the others, meanwhile I'm gonna run out of here to my own mech and hopefully bury this place in a ton of rubble, understood?" Ivy agreed and quickly ran into her Mech. She opened the cockpit and jumped inside, and after checking her systems gave Percy the thumbs up. Percy turned around to inspect the destruction caused by her but saw 2 purple eyes staring back at him.

It was the dragon, it's skull was covered in pale black skin with 2 rows of sharp teeth gleaming, it looked to be undead..or rather really really old; to the point that it was just black bones with barely any skin. It seemingly came out of the tomb wall itself, its skeleton must have been used in the construction of the tomb Percy thought with shock and awe.

It walked out of the room and Percy quickly estimated it's size to be at least 45 feet, its wings were tucked in since it didn't have the room to spread them. However it's claws and teeth made up for its current lack of flight. The rest of its body was much like it's head, black bones with barely any skin; like a walking skeleton. Behind it, Kronos emerged, completely filled with rage. He pointed his finger at Scorpius and shouted "Fordōn!" The dragon delivered an ear splitting roar and rushed at Scorpius, who had already begun tunneling out to escape the gisnt lizard behind her.

Percy watched in shock as the dragon..twice the size of Scorpius, grabbed her just as she made it above ground and throw her out, before rushing up itself. Percy would've stood there in awe if he didn't have more crucial things to do, he turned around to try and shoot Kronos but the ancient mage expected it and melted the gun while it was in Percy's hands, Percy dropped it as it dissolved into nothing was and slowly backed away. The mage said "Ah I see you've met my reptilian companion. His name is Drakon, he used to be a majestic fire dragon..that is until I corrupted his very soul." Percy didn't answer and slowly backed away. The mage said "any chance of survival you would have had is gone, surrender your life to me and I will make it painless."

Percy didnt listen and instead looked around for ways to escape, why couldn't his mech have a semi auto-pilot. Then he realized he didn't need his Mech, at least not yet. He said to him "I surrender, but first at least let me see the daylight one last time" He figured that this mage, being as overconfident as he was; would agree to his term and as expected Kronos said "Since you were the only one with at least a bit of dignity, I will give you a minute's headstart".

Percy didn't even stop to reply as he dashed out of the room, jumping the stairs 2 or 3 at a time, within 30 seconds he quickly rushed out of the dungeon and what he saw was horrific.

Scorpius was trying to fight the Dragon, but was failing miserably as Percy could see burn marks and scratches on her Mech. The dragon was flying around her with a wingspan of at least 60 feet as it blasted her with it's purple fire, the dragon itself had minimum damage on it. However Percy couldn't stop to watch as he quickly got in his Mech and closed the cockpit. He got up and backed up just in time as Kronos emerged from the dungeon.

Percy took out his Cyber blade and activated the plasma shield on his left hand. Kronos walked out of the entrance as if he was out for a leisurely stroll. He looked at the surroundings, breathed in the air and sighed saying "Ah the outside world, it is good to be back" he then looked towards Percy and said "hmm, a knight mēkhané, you must be from Englaland". Percy shook his head in disgust and said "It's England you old bastard!"

Kronos raised his hands upto his shoulders and began to slowly rise above the ground until he was at Percy's eye kevel. He started chanting "krantoc, xintros werod..." And some other weird words. Slowly his hands started filling with some sort of dark magic. Percy got ready to charge towards the mage but suddenly Kronos launched the dark energy towards him. Percy quickly raised his shield and blocked the attack, but to his surprise the effects of the dark energy melted his shield. It worked like acid slowly eating the shield and heading towards the mech hand. Percy quickly ripped the shield modulator and threw it onto the ground where it dissolved infront of his eyes. He shouted "You'll pay for this". And charged at Kronos, as soon as he got within range Percy swung his sword straight at Kronos, the sword was as bigger than Kronos himself and would have cut him in half, however Kronos raised his open right hand at the sword and stopped it mid-swing. Percy tried his best to break the telekinetic force on his sword but failed miserably. Kronos then suddenly close his hand and Percy's Mech's entire right hand shattered into a million pieces, leaving only the shoulder blade behind.

Percy shouted in surprise as Kronos pointed both his hands at him and started raising his mech into the air. He floated up to Percy and said "You really thought you stood a chance you fool... Just look at what's happening to your little compatriot" he pointed behind him where Ivy was struggling to fight the Dragon. Percy saw as it grabbed onto her Mech's tail and lift straight into the air carrying her struggling with it. The dragon kept flying higher and higher until it reached about 900 meters. It then ripped off Ivy's tail and caused her to start falling. Percy shouted "No! Scorpius use your parachute! Do something!" But for some reason his Comms were static. Kronos smiled and said "I warned you..yet you youth never listen do you."

Scorpius kept falling down towards the ground–500 meters..400 meters..300 meters..200..100..however right before she hit the ground another flying thing came and grabbed her and put her on the ground with utmost care, It was Sophie! Her Athena mech quickly flew off towards the dragon, her saw hands extended and ready for battle. Percy shouted "Hell yeah! Get the stupid beast Athena!" Kronos snarled and said "Drakon will deal with your friends...as for you, well I'm going to harvest your soul now. And I will make sure it is as painful as humanly possible!"

Percy struggled but was still in Kronos's telekinetic grasp. Kronos said "goodbye little human! I hope this hu–" Kronos was interrupted as a punch hit him in the face causing him to hit the ground. Followed by someone saying "Hell yeah, that felt good!" In a voice that Percy very well recognized.

Octavius had arrived.
