I watch silently from my spot next to Morgana as the mysterious knight throws their gauntlet onto the ground.

"I accept your challenge. If I'm going to face you in combat, you could at least reveal your identity." The Knight obliges, revealing a beautiful blond woman.

"My name is Morgause."

"Do you recognize her?" Morgana asks me as we peer out her window.

"I don't think so...why do you?"

"I think so...I fell as if tho I've seen her before."

"We can talk to her after the duel." It was quite satisfying to see Arthur being defeated by the mysterious woman. And Morgana was right... Morgause acts as if she knows Morgana. However, she makes me uneasy. Her brown inquisitive eyes seem to be baring into my very soul. I don't like it.

And Gaius clearly knows her. What is he hiding? I follow behind him loosely, staying outside the door. I dismiss the guards as press my ear to the door. I use magic to heighten my senses momentarily.

"Do you think she knows the true circumstances of Arthur's birth?"

"I fear that more than anything."Interesting . What could be so bad about so bad about Arthur's birth? Unless...if he used magic. A burning hatred fills my chest. All these years if genocide...just because he made a mistake? I hear the door to Uther's chambers open.

"Arianna I did not expect to find you here."

"Is it true?"

"Is what true? I don't know what you're talking about." Uther scoffs and I turn around to face him.

"Is it true that Arthur was born threw magic? All the people you've hunted down... the hundreds you killed? Were they to blame for you not listening?"

"Arthur was not conceived through sorcery! I don't know what would give you that impression."

"He was, wasn't he? Oh that's just precious."

" Don't speak to me in that tone young lady! I am your king and you shall treat me as such."
