Cordelia: Remember TOH episode with a game called: Grudgby. This is what is base around.

Cordelia: Now, I look into the game to see what I have to do. And it seem easy enough.

Cordelia: Here the rules: "Grudgby is played between two teams of at least three players. The object is to score points by getting a spherical ball through the opposing team's goal. Since magic is part of the gameplay, all manner of magical obstacles may be used to hinder teams from scoring, and participants are allowed to cast spells to aid their games (though this is not mandatory). The team that scores the most points within the time limit wins. However, should one of the teams catch the Rusty Smidge, they score an immediate victory and end the game."

Cordelia: Since this chapter is base around MLP Season 4 Episode 10: Rainbow Falls. Summer Sullivan is Spitfire, Farida Ferguson is Fleetfoot, while Salvador Satterwhite is Soarin.

Cordelia: But since this is base around Rainbow Falls, I thought that there could be a tryout for Grudgby.

Cordelia: Which also means, you get to meet new people! So most of the characters will be pegasus from Rainbow Falls and more pegasus from another episode. Will explain who they are in there

Raymond pov

Me and my friends was walking around town. We was also hanging out with Luz and her friends.

Hunter: So, y/n. What did you do with your family heirloom?

Y/n: Put it in my hair. When I'm flying, I would take it out of my hair and put it somewhere safe.

We also have our Palisman, but they're sleeping.

Theresa: I wonder what will happen today.

Me: Yeah I don't want Emperor Buttface to ruin it.

Ramona: He probably just scheming for now.

Autumn: I mean, we have ruin all his plan before, Sugarcubes.

Percy: Yeah, so he'll have to wait until the creator of this book get to an chapter.

We all just sigh, Percy break the fourth wall a lot.

Amity: Hey, we have an question.

Me: What is it?

Willow: Do you guys play, Grudgby?

We all look at each others.

Y/n: Ray does. I play bit and pieces, and we also have a friend who plays. He Abit buff then normal but you'll like him. He an good guy.

Me: Hey, look! An tryout for Grudgby. And it the Wolderbolts team will be there.

Gus and Luz: Wonderbolts?

Raymond was standing in front of Y/n and there friend: Bruce Barkley. He have short Light Amber Hair, Vivid Red Eyes, and Paper White Skin. When he in his CHS uniform, he in The Bard Track and The Beast Keeping Track.

Raymond: Alright, group, listen up!

Y/n: We're all ears. Right, Bruce?

Bruce: Yeah!

Raymond: I like your attitude, Bruce, but it's gonna take more than Yeah!s to get us to the Grudgby games! And I'm planning on winning the try out!

Luz: It not about winning, Ray.

Amity: Luz is right, ray. Winning isn't everything.

Percy: Gimme a 'T' for 'Team'!

Y/n: [yelps]

Percy: [through megaphone] T, Team!

Bruce: T!

Hunter: Oh, thanks, for some lightness, Percy.

Raymond: Just make sure you have one ready for when qualify for the Grudgby team. I mean us.

Bruce: It'll be amazing to see us play Grudgby again!

Autumn: Not so fast! If you're gonna be good, you're gonna be better with some of my apple brown bettys in ya. They're perfect.

We walk to CHS, the tryouts are out side so yeah..... As we was walking two people came up to us. There name was and .

Harper: Good luck, Raymond! Sorry we couldn't help with you on your team, but the you know, out team needed us too.

Harper Watterson, She have a Shoulder Length Light Gold and Pale, Light Grayish Apple Green Hair, Light Cerulean Eyes, and Light Skin. In her CHS uniform she in The Beast Keeping Track and The Abomination Track.

Tristan: Yeah, we let to help but. Rules are rules.

Tristan Lakewood, He have Short Spiky Light Cyanish Gray with Lighter Streaks Hair, Light Gold Eyes, and Dark Skin. In his CHS uniform he in The Potion Track and The Bard Track.

Theresa: Good luck! [to Raymond] It was nice of you to be part of the team that doesn't have... uh... the strongest flyers.

Amity: Yeah, that sweet of you.

Raymond: Nothing nice about it. I know that I can pick up the slack for eveyone. With me on the team, we'll qualify. I'm sure of it.

Raymond: Yeah, I'm pretty awesome.

Y/n: I don't fly a lot unless I need to get somewhere faster.

Bruce: We'll make them proud!

Ramona: Ooh. Can't wait to see what eveyone else is wearing, even though I am absolutely sure they won't be better than the Ponyville uniforms I'm designing for the tryouts.

Eveyone: [excited chattering, groaning]

Oriana: I heard that he's flying the last third of the relay, which means everybody else is gonna have to be way ahead to beat him!

Everyone heard a distant boom.

Murphy: Oh, the Wonderbolts!

Shamirah: I hear they're flying for CHS.

Oriana: Then CHS will definitely qualify. They're the best flyers ever.

Summer: And the game is on!

Salvador: Hah, nice to see there's some real competition here!

Farida: Two more days of practice, then we'll see you in the air, Raymond! If you're lucky.

Raymond: [sighs] The Wonderbolts know a winner when they see one, and we'll be winners just as soon as we practice! Right team?

Y/n: Right.

Bruce: Yeah!

Percy: Hooray! [blows party hooter]

Raymond: We want to qualify! We need to be one of the first four teams to cross the finish line! Bruce, you're the first flyer, so let me see you fly it!

Y/n: Are you really, really, really sure you're ready? I mean, I don't want to take it if you're not super sure.

Bruce handed Y/n the Baton, but y/n couldn't hold it so it fell.

Ramona: CHS could do so much better. I'll be back with a freshly painted one in no time!

Willow: I'll help.

Raymond: We were using that! And it's not like anyone else has color-coordinated bantos or anything!

Summer past a golden color banto to Farida and flew off.

Raymond: [sighs] I guess some people do.

Raymond: [sighs] Have a better chance of qualifying and going to the tryouts than others.

Raymond pov

I walk with Y/n and Bruce to the Wonderbolts who was relaxing or practicing.

Me: Watch and learn. The UDH are Wonderbolts, and Wonderbolts are the best flyers there are. And my personal heroes. So, maybe you can learn something.

o look up to see Salvador doing tricks on his staff.

Me: Please learn something?

Farida: C'mon, Salvador, pick up the pace! You can do better than that!

Summer: I sure hope so.

UDH cheerleaders: Practice, practice, yay, practice!

Salvador look down that the two cheerleaders, but when he look up up his eyes wide.

Salvador: Whoa!

Salvador hit the hoop causing him it hit his leg and head, which made him fall off his Palisman who turn back to an Blue Jay.

Salvador: Whooaaaa!

As Salvador was falling, his Palisman follow him.

Salvador: Aaaaah! Help!

My Palisman turn into my staff, I got onto my staff and flew to Salvador and caught him.

Me: Gotcha!

I flew down to the ground and got off my palisman, as tank change back to my palisman.

Wonderbolts and CHS team: [excited cheering]

Farida: Awe-some!

Summer: As good as any Wonderbolt!

Y/n: Oh, Raymond, we just so proud of you. You scooped Salvador out of the sky and brought him down to the ground and now, now he's okay. At least, we hope he's okay. [to Salvador] Are you okay?

Salvador: Uh, my leg and head hurts, but I-I'm sure it'll be okay by the competition.

Two nurse came over to Salvador, Salvador sigh and got onto he bed the two nurse brought.

Salvador: You're the best, Raymond. [groans]

Me: Ah, it was nothin'. But, if you feel like talking about how great I am, don't let me stop you!

The two nurse took Salvador to the nurse office to heal.

Hunter pov

After the two nurse took Salvador away, I was abit worry since this could boost Raymond ego up more. Bruce ran up to Raymond.

Bruce: 'P' is for Raymond!

Y/n: [whispering] Um, 'Raymond' actually starts with an 'R'.

Bruce: Never mind!

Luz: Is Bruce okay?

Amity: Luz, he just abit dumb.

Me: I meet him before, and he smart.

I look over to Raymond who was talking to two of the Wonderbolts members, so I try to listen in.

Raymond: Tough break to lose a teammate right before the tryouts.

Farida: You know, you grew up in Witchy Valley. (Cordelia: Town where CHS is located.)

Summer: So that means you could fly with us.

Raymond: Fly?

Farida: Uh, we mean practice. You could practice with us until Salvador's better.

Summer: What do you say? Wanna be our third?

Raymond: Uh, I don't know. My team really needs me to be at my best in order to qualify. Don't wanna be too worn out by the time the race comes around.

Summer: We put you through some pretty intense workouts at the Wonderbolt tryout and you handled those just fine.

Raymond: Heh, I did kick some major tail at the last tryout... but I don't know how my teammates will feel about me practicing with the competition.

Farida: Who says they need to know? Think about it, Raymond! This is your chance to fly with the winners!

Raymond look over to us, I look over to see Y/n making flower crowns while butterfly landed on his head while Bruce was just flexing his muscles. Raymond then look over to the Wonderbolts members as smile.

Raymond: Alright, I'll do it.

Summer: [chuckles] Wise decision, Raymond.

I saw Raymond walking with Summer and Farida.

Me: Raymond.... You'll need to chose where your loyalty lies.

3rd pov

Raymond sat on his staff, he look at the Golden Color Baton and flew through the hoops while doing tricks and handed Farida the baton.

Farida: Awesome!

Chs cheerleaders: Whinny, ponies, whinny! Fly on, fly on, fly on!

Raymond flew over to his first team, flying by Theresa and Hunter who look at each other with worried looks. Bruce was flying on his staff but was having abit of difficulty.

Bruce: [grunting]

Raymond: Come on, Bruce, you can do it!

Bruce fly though the hoop but got stuck.

Y/n: Um... I'm ready to take the horseshoe, if you want me to.

Bruce handed Y/n the multi color Baton. But then the hoop flung the two and made them crash.

Bruce and Y/n: [screaming]
[distant crash]

Raymond: Nnnngh...

Hunter: Y/n! I'm coming to help!

Raymond went back over to his new team, did push up with them while holding people who are standing on there back. After that Raymond went back to his first team, Y/n was having some difficulty with push ups

Y/n: [yelps] Oof!

Bruce try to fly off the ground but having trouble.

Raymond: You, uh, keep doing your staff push ups. I'm just gonna get some, uh, water.

Raymond ran away from his team while Hunter and Theresa look at him with a suspicious look.

Raymond train with the Wonderbolts some more then went back to his first team who was eating autumn delicious treats.

Y/n: [chewing] these are delicious

Bruce: [chewing] [laughs] [swallows] [grunts]

Bruce offer Raymond one, but Raymond shook his head no

Autumn and Y/n: [laughing]

Raymond walk away with out them knowing. Raymond, Summer, and Farida line up while there pit crew clean there goggles, clean there finger nails, and took measurements. Then the three was in new outfits. After that Raymond watch as Ramona dress up Y/n and Bruce.

Bruce: [laughs] Yeah!

Y/n: [giggles]

Ramona: Too much?

After the last training with the Wonderbolts, Raymond wave good bye and went into hiding to take off his Wonderbolts outfit and put watch on his face, then drank some water.

Theresa and Hunter: It's not easy practicing with two teams, is it?

Raymond: [spit-take] You... know? Does anyone else?

Theresa: No. They're too busy practicing to wonder why you keep disappearing.

Raymond: Well, I've seen the other teams practicing and we're still gonna qualify. I can fly fast enough to make up the distance.

Hunter: It just seems like one of the teams you're practicing with needs a little more help than the other one.

Raymond: But it's so much more fun working out with the winners than... um... the non-winners. Besides, CHS will still qualify.

Summer: Rainbow Dash, you got a minute?

Raymond: Uh, sure.

Farida: You could really be an asset to our team, so... we want you to join the Wonderbolts team. Permanently.

Raymond: [gasps]

Hunter and Theresa book at Raymond with a bruh face.

Summer: It looks like Salvador's leg and head won't heal in time for the trials. We want you to fly with us.

Farida: Of course, this means you won't be able to fly for CHS, but let's face it. Even with you on their team, their chances of qualifying for the Games-

Y/n try to past the baton but hit Bruce mistake.

Theresa: If you fly for Cloudsdale, Percy won't have anyone to cheer for. Ramona's uniforms will never be seen. And Autumn will have slaved over those apple brown bettys for nothing.

Raymond: Oh, but I really wanna fly with the best team! What would you do?

Hunter: I think this is a decision you have to make on your own. The race is tomorrow, so you'd better make it soon.

Both Hunter and Theresa walks away as Raymond look down at the ground with an sad look. But Raymond gotten a idea.

Next morning

Luz pov

You know these tryout are a good idea. Me and the other made so many friends and we found out that Under Drop High was real. Anyways we watch as Bruce was making an flower crown as Y/n and Hunter was relaxing. Then we heard something.

Raymond: [exaggerated groaning] Woe is me! Oooh!

Crowd: [concerned chattering]

We all look to see Raymond in a wheelchair and some bandage around his chest area, arms, legs, and head. He also have a neck brace.

Matt: What happened to you, Raymond!?

Rainbow Dash: Urgh, I've hurt my arms and legs...

Percy and Ramona: [gasps]

Theresa and Hunter seem to not believe it.

Summer: All of them?

Raymond: I, uh, tripped on a-a foam hand and landed on a... [mumbles, near unintelligible] pokey stick coming out of the ground...

Percy: [growls] If I get my hands on that [matching unintelligible gibberish], it'll be in big trouble!

Y/n: Do you think you'll be better by tryouts?

Raymond: [exaggerated groaning] I'll be lucky if I ever fly again! [sighs] I just need a little rest.

We all stand around Raymond minus Y/n and Bruce. I look at the EKG to see it was normal and it was beeping

Me: So, the nurse isn't sure what's wrong with you.

Raymond: Everything! Absolutely everything!

Autumn: This'll cure everythin' that ails ya!

Autumn grab on of her delicious apple better treat and stuff it into Raymond mouth which Raymond ate it.

Raymond: [with mouth full] Thank you. I couldn't have done that on my own.

Hunter: [sighs]

Ramona: Nothing says 'get better' like a little medical pizazz! Silk slings and a glitter bandage?

Ramona took out fabric with glitter on it and made a bow on Raymond hand.

Raymond: That might help.

Luz: We need someone else to take Ray, place.

Amity: I don't play anymore because of Boscha.

Willow: Yeah.... I'm worry that UDH is full with people who want to win.

We hear a door open, we look to see Y/n and Bruce walk in.

Y/n: And how is our patient doing?

Bruce was stuck in the door way. He pull and fell face first. But he get up again.

Bruce: Am alright.

Raymond: I've been better.

Y/n: We just wanted to let you know that we're so sorry you're hurt, but you shouldn't worry a bit about not being able to be in the tryouts. We'll be alright. We even have a replacement.

We see Dorothy Mayberry, she was abit troublesome with flying and is abit autistic, but we love her for who she is. Dorothy have long messy Pale, Light Grayish Apple Green Hair, Gradient from Pale, Light Grayish Apple Green to Moderate Gamboge Eyes and Light Skin. In her uniform colors are red which mean she in The Bard Track. Raymond look worried again.

Y/n: We're so, so sorry that you can't compete. We all know how much you love to fly. And we promise-

Bruce: Cross our hearts!

Y/n: ...That if we qualify and make it to the Equestria Games and all win gold medals, you can have ours, because we know how much a gold medal means to you.

Raymond: Thanks...

Twilight Sparkle: [clears throat] I think Raymond might need to rest some more.

Eveyone minus Me and Hunter: [chattering]

Autumn: Don't forget your bettys!

After they leave me and Hunter turn to Raymond.

Me and Hunter: You know, choosing not to choose isn't really a decision.

As Hunter and Theresa walks away, I saw the curtains next to me move to show Salvador.

Salvador: You sure have nice friends. No one been by to visit me. Eh, too busy practicing, I guess.

Raymond: Well, hopefully your leg and head will be better soon.

Salvador: Oh, it's fine. I-I'm just keeping it warm in case my team wants me back.

Raymond: What do you mean, 'wants you back'? Summer and Farida told me that you were still too injured to fly!

Salvador: And they told me that they were worried I wouldn't be one hundred percent by the tryouts, so they were going with someone else!

Raymond: That someone else was me! Until, uh, well, until I got hurt, that is.

Salvador: So, [sighs] I guess we're all out of luck. UDH won't qualify without three fliers, and CHS won't qualify without you. Too bad...

Raymond look sad, as he was thinking of what to do. Raymond gotten an idea thank to looking at drop flag. Raymond eyes glow rainbow and he smile.

Raymond: [Thought] I know what to do.

Raymond gotten up and walk out of the room.

Gus pov

We all was sitting down, in sadness because CHS wouldn't win. Also because Raymond is hurt. Theresa look up at us.

Theresa: Even with Raymond's replacement, I don't think we're gonna qualify. No offense.

Dorothy shrugged her shoulder.

Percy and Matt: Gah! What're we gonna do with all these now?!

Percy and Matt show off a lot of pompoms

Autumn: Uh, what were you two gonna do with them before?

Ramona: [sighs] Maybe my Equestria Games uniforms will still be in style next year. I mean, I am pretty fashion-forward.

We all sigh again, but we heard footsteps. We then look to see Raymond.... WALKING!? Along with Salvador who look better now.

Hunter: Is that Raymond... walking?

Summer: [drinking water]

Farida: Does... this mean you're feeling better?

Raymond: I-I feel great, because... I was never hurt in the first place.

Raymond took off the bandages and we was in shock.

Wonderbolts: [gasps]

Eveyone: [gasps]

Raymond: I faked my injury so that I wouldn't have to choose between flying for CHS or UDH. I wanted to fly with you both, and the decision was too hard!

Y/n: Oh, Raymond, you don't have to choose us. I know you love to win, and you should go with the team that surely will.

Raymond: I know now who I should've been loyal to.

Summer: Good choice. Always stick with the winners.

Raymond walk over to us and cross his arms.

Rainbow Dash: CHS. Because it's not just where I live or school I go to, but it's where my friends are. The people who really care about me, whether I can help them win a race or not.

Eveyone minus Summer and Farida: [cheering]

Summer: Are you sure that's the right decision?

Raymond: You lied to me about Salvador's wing just so you could get a better flyer!

Salvador cross his arms and glare at his friends.

Raymond: You may be a winning team, but you're still not the kind of team I wanna be a part of.

Summer: Huh. Raymond, you are something. Saw it at the Last grudgby tryout, seeing it again here. We could learn a lot from a competitor like you.

Farida: Think we already have.

Summer walk over to Salvador.

Summer: Ready to fly?

Salvador: Really?

Summer: Never should've lied and tried to replace you to begin with.

Salvador: [gasps] Go, UDH!

Salvador took off on his staff.

Raymond: Come on, CHS relay team! We've got a race to get ready for!

Raymond Palisman turn into a staff and he took off, follow by Y/n and Bruce

Bruce: Yeah!

Farida flew through the finished line as the official stop the timer and nodded the the UDH Team. Farida landed by her friends.

Soarin: Come on, CHS! You can do it!

Bruce flew through without getting stuck, the timer was ticking. Bruce came over to y/n and bast the banto, to which y/n almost drop it but caught it. Bruce fell since he it took a lot out of him.

Hunter: Go, Y/n! Woo-hoo!

Luz and the other was laughing at Hunter being in an cheerleader outfit but hunter doesn't care. Y/n flew though the hoops, as y/n gotten to Raymond, he passed the banto and Raymond took off.

CHS cheerleaders: Qualify, CHS! Qualify, CHS!

Percy and Matt: Woo-hoo! Go, Raymond!

Raymond flew though the hoops at top speed, the timer was still ticking. Autumn grab one of her delicious apple betty treat and eat it. Raymond still fly at top speed, right before the timer reach the red area, Raymond made it. The official stop and timer

Autumn: [chewing]

Official: CHS qualifies!

Y/n and Bruce hug Raymond while everyone else was cheering. People was still cheering as the Official handed out the metals. There was five teams, when the official stop that the CHS team, he place the metals over there head and onto there neck. Symbolize they won first place. Summer walk over to Raymond and tap on his shoulder.

Raymond: Hey, Summer.

Summer: I wanted to give you this.

Summer handed Raymond and pin.

Raymond: Thanks.

Summer: No problem.

The UDH Team took off back to there school.

Bruce: Yeah!

Eveyone sans Raymond: Yeah!

Percy and Matt: Woo-hoo!

Twilight Sparkle: Grudgby, here we come!

I ask Theresa about her book which she gave to me. But I saw an folder belonging to Y/n, so I just open another page.

Me: [Thought/Writing] Oh, I can't deny it. I love to win! But if I ever gotta choose between winning and being loyal to my friends, I'm always gonna choose my friends. 'Cause as much as I love winning, I love them waaaaay more.

I close the book and sat it down. I sigh and just look to see my friends on there staff and racing each other's.

While Raymond was watching his friends race each other's, he didn't see the book glow red and made a folder about him, while his pin he gotten from Summer started to shimmer rainbow.
