y/n's POV

I opened my eyes, not moving as I heard voices, both male and female, swirl around me. I stayed still, wanting to make them believe I was asleep. 

"Five, what did you do to her? Hopefully you didn't drug her, she's pretty and your age! You finally have someone to love! *a sound...someone punching someone?* Hey, don't punch me for saying the truth!" 

That male voice definitely sounded uneven, like they were either drunk or high. My guess, if I was in the Umbrella Academy house, it was Klaus. 

"Is she okay, you guys? She might need something when she wakes up...I'll get some water." 

A soft female voice. Gentle. Like she was afraid of being yelled at. It was probably Vanya, the powerful student who nearly caused the apocalypse. 

"Did you kidnap her Five? I don't think she came with you willingly."

That sounded a lot like Diego, the student who could curve knives in any direction. Cool powers.

"Why do you guys I think I always kidnapped someone?! She was cute, and I wanted to take her back to the Academy so I could talk to her and...be friends! So I tried to teleport us...but I guess she fell unconscious." 

That voice was clearly Five. That made me blush, and I laughed a little bit, immediately covering it up. 

"Wait, guys...I think she's awake." 

Shit. There goes my cover. Klaus, you didn't have to say that.  

I blinked out the fuzzy lights in front of my eyes, seeing a couple of splotches of color surrounding me as I sat up. I rubbed at my eyes, opening one and seeing clear faces, and I nearly leapt back, as I realized who they were.

I saw the concerned faces of half of the Umbrella Academy, Diego, Klaus, and Five right at my side, his hand an inch away from  mine. I saw Vanya come in through the door, holding a glass of water. I sat up slowly, placing a hand on my head. I let out a low groan, a throbbing pain fading in through my skull.

Vanya quickly rushed forward, pressing a couple of aspirin and the glass of water into my hand. I drained it without hesitation, placing it on the table beside me and giving Vanya a grateful nod. I swung my legs off the side of the little hospital bed I was on, and looked around me curiously. 

"H-How long was I asleep?" Klaus and Diego winced, as Vanya quickly took my hand and sighed. "Y-You were unconscious for...for about eighteen hours. It's twelve pm." I gasped, and groaned. "I-I'm so sorry for being a burden...were you guys here this whole time?" Diego left the room after shaking his head, and Vanya left to get another glass of water. Klaus laughed.

"Five told us your name was y/n, so y/n, no, none of us were here this entire time...except Five. He refused to leave your side, and Vanya bought him coffee every few hours." I turned bright red, and as I looked around I noticed the four cups on the table beside me. 

I looked at Five, and he turned a bright red, looking at the floor bashfully. I smiled and took his hand, beaming at him gladly as he looked at me. Feeling a bit brave, I leaned in and gave Five a small kiss on the cheek. "T-Thanks, Five. You didn't have to stay with me." 

He turned an even brighter red, and looked at the ground, stammering something out. Klaus gave me a knowing look at left, winking at me as he left and mouthing "Take care of him." I nodded, giving him a little smile. 

I quickly stepped off the table, seeing my hoodie on the coat hanger and grabbing it, tying it around my waist and taking Five's arm, walking out of the medical room with our arms interlocked. 

My jaw dropped as I looked around the interior of the Academy, with screens about the current state of the police and any issues in the city. Five tipped my chin over to the fireplace, and I snickered as I saw the painting.

There was a full-size portrait of Five hanging over the fireplace, his hands in his pockets and a rather smirky smile on his face. I rolled my eyes and walked over to it, surveying it. "Wow, when was this done?" Five walked up beside me, thinking." I think...maybe twelve years ago?" I gasped, looking between the two. "Wow, you look a lot older in the painting." I joked, causing Five to turn pink and shove me.

I heard the loud sound of a crash on the balcony above us, and I turned around to see nearly the entire Academy watching us from above. Vanya, Klaus, Allison, and Diego were basically tripping over each other to watch us, and I narrowed my eyes jokingly, swinging my arm around Five's shoulders. Five looked at me, and the same idea flew through our heads. 

He leaned in, and whispered something in my ear. Shivers went down my spine "Do you think you can handle a jump now?" I nodded, and he wrapped his arm around me even tighter, and he jumped, the two of us appearing in Five's room.

I could hear them clamoring about where we had gone, and Five got up to lock the door, leaving me swinging my feet on his bed. Five smiled at me when he returned, and we both talked for a while, even stopping so Five could help train me in how to stay conscious during spacial jumps.

After about three hours of talking and training, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, and I sighed, knowing who it was.

sis where are you?? you've been gone for a whole day!

I quickly texted her back:

i'm at a friend's house don't worry

friend huh? okay use protection ;)

super sis:

meg i swear to god

I sighed as I showed Five the texts from my sister, and he laughed and paled at the same time. "Your sister always thinks the worst, huh?" I rolled my eyes, and stood up. "D'you...do you want to get lunch? I know an amazing sushi place down the street." Five stood up, and grabbed his shoes. 

"What are we waiting for? C'mon, think you're up for a jump?"

I laughed at him, and threw my arms around him as we vanished in a flash of blue light. 

honestly most of my chapters are going to end in a jump probably

and yes there will be more than five parts at this point (maybe ten, who knows)
