Chapter 1
"Oh, Minda, you're here." Papyrus greets me at the door. "You must be here for Sans. I'll call him down. SANS!!!"
"No, no, I was going up to his room." I walked into the living room
"Okay." Papyrus closes the door and faces me. "Don't try making too many puns."
"Papyrus!" I shout at him. "You know I hate puns as much as you do." I go up the stairs and see pink and yellow flames coming from underneath Sans' door. I knock and realized what a stupid mistake that was. I get a face full of Sans' breath and sour trombone notes.
"Sorry, Minda, I thought you were Papyrus for a second." Sans apologized.
"Don't worry, I would've done the same thing to him if he were my brother."
"So wanna come in?" Sans offers.
"Yeah, sure." I start walking in.
"Sans and Minda, such a cute couple!" Papyrus yells at the top of his ribs.
"Papyrus!" I yell at the shipping skeleton
"We're just friends!" Sans yells just to sell the point.
"That's what she said!" Papyrus yells back at us.
"Let's just talk." I offer, ignoring Papyrus' squealing about how cute we are together.
"I need to finish my trombone lesson. Wanna hear?" Sans readies his trombone.
Without response, Sans plays a sad, miserable sounding song. "It's been awhile since I played that song last."
"I can tell." I point out as I rub my ears.
"It wouldn't sound so sad if Papyrus wouldn't shove spaghetti in my trombone. Before I can clean it out, I have to eat it. It's ether frozen or tastes like chicken."
"How do you even know what chicken tastes like?" I ask.
Sans shrugged. "I don't know."
"Speaking of Papyrus and spaghetti." I interrupt. "Has he been taking cooking lessons?"
"Yeah, he's been getting better." Sans states. "He hasn't been burning the PC lately, so that's a huge improvement! Wanna hear another song?"
"No, please, don't!" I scream. Too late. More sour notes emerge from the trombone as I try to block off the traces of blue spit from the instrument.
Papyrus walks up to the room and asks, "What was that Sans? Did someone step on a cat or something?"
"Get out Papyrus." Sans commands, with a hint of pain hidden in his strict voice.
"Can't I stay a little while longer?" Papyrus pleads.
"Listen to your brother Papyrus." I order. Sans glares at me.
"You know I don't like it when you order him around like that Minda." Sans put his trombone down and folded his arms like a kid.
"Sorry, it just slipped out." I attempt to apologize. Sans' left eye started glowing a light blue and yellow. "Maybe I should leave."
"Maybe you should." Sans showed me the door.
"You guys are such good hosts." I sarcastically state to Papyrus as I walked down the stairs and out the front door. "I'm surprised that you two don't host a party every weekend."
"I'm sorry that my brother acted out." Papyrus said in a soft tone.
I looked him straight in the eye. "Your BROTHER acted out?!"
"Okay, I guess I was a bit of a jerk too." Papyrus attempts to apologize.
"No!" I shouted, ignoring the other monsters staring. "It was mostly you. I was trying to get you out and Sans acted how I would of. So get out of my face!"
Just then, a cracking sound erupted through the snowy town. A bright light ran through the sky, blinding anyone who dares look at it. I guessed what happened and ran to the first place I could think of.
