Aaron's POV

     "Aaron! Wake up! Queen Lyria wishes to see you now!" I heard Yako yell from outside my room. I hear the door slam open and see Yako staring at me wide-eyed. 

     "Wait what?! You're awake and changed your clothes so early?! Am I dreaming?!" Yako yells in my ear as she pinches my cheek while I stare out of the window.

     "Hey what's wrong? Aragorn is right. You're acting so weird since yesterday." I stare at Yako as she says that.

     "Really? I guess I wasn't paying attention." I swiftly walk outside, leaving Yako standing there in my room.

     "Yako, do I need to tell you to be quick? We are almost late." Yako pouts and comes running after me to chase up with me.

     "Damn! Next time I am going to kill you, your brain of an insect!" I let out a chuckle and Yako stop running and stand frozen in the back of me. I turn around with a confused look on my face and Yako starts speaking.

     "Finally you are back to normal Aaron! I was so damn worried just now." I give her a full-blown laugh as I race her to the throne room.

---- the throne room-----

     "Aaron, has the killer been found?" I shake my head and Lyria frowns.

     "We need to find the killer as soon as possible. Yesterday, my maid found a threatening letter in her room. We don't know who send this but I know that person wants to take out the people dear to me one by one. The only clue is this." She shows the letter and I see the mark and I freeze up. 

     "Xurenth." I swear under my breath and Queen Lyria freezes up in horror.

     "So you're telling me that one of the members of Xureth is targeting Queen Lyria?! Are you sure?!" One of the guards asks and I nod.

     "Yes. I was one of their members before so I know the mark. Plus, the organization has been targeting  her for a while now." The guard stares at me in horror and back of. I look at Queen Lyria and she nods, letting me continue to say what I have to say.

     "Lyria, I have no choice but to ask you to tell your guards to protect the maid at all cost. This is to ensure that the enemy has no chance to kill the maid as the enemy is dangerous. With my magic, I could sense that it is one of the higher-ranking ones so be careful." Queen Lyria nods and swiftly order her personal guards to guard the maid.

     "Aaron!" I turn around to see the captain of Queen Lyria's personal guards mentioning to me.

     "What about your team?" I catch my gaze with Aragorn's and he nod.

     "We will guard the Queen." The captain nod and catch up with her subordinates while barking orders at the other guards.

     "Aaron." I turn to see Yako staring at me in concern and I look at her in the eye.

     "Tell the others to meet me at my room. We have lots to discuss." Yako nod and rush to tell the others what I told her.

-----Aaron's guest room-----

     "So, the person who wants to kill the Queen is one of the higher-ranked in Xurenth." I nod and the others look at me in concern.

     "All I know is that the magic is not common among Xurenth members and there is only one person who has this power." I stare at the ground, biting my lower lip as I say it.

     "Number 2" There are shouts of 'No way!' and 'Shut up!' until I couldn't stand it anymore.

     "Shut Up!!!!" Everyone goes silent as they see me yelling at them to shut up.

     "The only way we can protect Queen Lyria is to guard her at all times. Aragorn and I will take guard in the morning, Alviss and Yako will take guard of Queen Lyria in the afternoon while Amelia and Hikaru will take guard of Queen Lyria at night. Is that clear?" Everyone nods and I smile.

     "Good. Do be careful if you encounter the enemy and if you encounter them, contact one of the members immediately and all of us will come to help. Is that clear?" The whole room is filled with 'clear.' and I give a 'game time' smirk.

     "It's game time. Good luck everyone." We go to our separate ways not knowing the enemy is hidden in the shadows.

     "Don't get so relaxed, Aaron. I always win." The enemy let out a sinister laugh as he watches Aaron and his friends planning their moves.
