Aaron's POV

     "So you are saying that Lucifer or his sons may kill me?" The Protector of the North who I know now as Alister asks me and I nod, confirming the news. Everyone stares at the ground saying nothing as Alister nods his head, already figured out about this. We all look at each other and frown, trying to come up with a new plan while I sit there fingering my first fragment of the relic, thinking about what Satan had mentioned before.

     "-so we just attack?" I hear Yako ask and frown.

     "No. Lucifer will be able to predict this and retaliate. We might not even have a chance to fight back or escape." Everyone frowns at my words and starts arguing again while I sit there, trying to think of a plan while drowning their words but to no avail. I suddenly slam my hand on the table, surprising everyone including me.

     "Shut UP!!! You guys are making me lose focus here!!!" Everyone stares at me guiltily as I huff in annoyance, trying to remember the plan that I had made before, and frown as I feel someone's hand on my shoulder.

     "Get some rest, Aaron. You need sleep." I shake my head as Aragorn says this as I look at my relic fragment again and try to remember the plan that I had thought of before.

     "Come on, Aaron. You're already too stressed and it is not good for your health." Aragorn nudges at me but I still insist that I do not need sleep.

     "Sorry Aaron." He feeds me something and I feel myself getting weaker. The last thing I see is the guilty look that Aragorn gives me before I pass out.

-----after Aaron is asleep in his room-----

Aragorn's POV

     "Guys, we need to figure the moves that the enemy will make." Everyone stares at the map of the kingdom, trying to figure out the moves the enemy will make while I discuss a few of my ideas with Alister and he helps to correct parts of my ideas when he thinks is not what the enemy is planning. I look at Yako who is on my right and nod. We both know that we do not have that much time to plan the actual plan to defeat the enemy as Aaron is still asleep but we both know that we can make an outline of the plan and let Aaron figure out the details for the plan. I stand up and slam my palm on the table, surprising everyone and I nod at Yako.

     "We already make a plan for this and I daresay that it is the best plan we got since Aaron is not here as I told him to rest just now because of the stress you are letting him go through. Now, I will announce the outline of the plan...." I begin to say out the whole outline of the plan and everyone nod in agreement with the plan. Then we all glance at the empty spot at the head of the table and sigh.

     "Will someone update Aaron on the plan and also tell him the exact time and venue for the next meeting? We cannot risk being caught off guard by the enemy." Alister nods and replies that he will update Aaron about the situation. I hug him and thank him for everything and he just gives me a slight smile. Before he walks away I see him turn around and smile.

     "Anytime, son. Just give me the call and I will come." I smile and raise a hand in farewell and we both part ways.

-----the Next Morning-----

Aaron's POV

     "Damn. It is this late already? How long am I asleep?" I ask no one in particular but a voice replies to me.

     "Well son, you're asleep for seven hours. The others are in the dining hall waiting for you." I turn around to see Alister greeting me with that famous grin of him and I grin back.

     "What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Alister laughs at my antics and sprint after me to the dining hall.

-----Dining hall-----

     "Hey, guys!" I spot my friends grin at me and sit down, immediately downing my plate of pancakes. I spot the look of my friends and feel the atmosphere of the room darken.

     "Hey, guys, what's wrong?" They stare at me and Aragorn mentions to me to finish my food first before he tells me what's wrong.

-----A few minutes later-----

     "Now tell me what is the situation now," I demand while Aragorn and the rest of my friends all stare at me quietly.

     "Well, we manage to finish the outline of the plan....." Aragorn starts the conversation. "...but we didn't figure out the details of the plan." Yako finishes his sentence and the atmosphere is tense as I try to digest what they say but after that, I smirk.

     "Well, if you guys already have the outline, you guys could just show or tell me about it now. I can plan the details for you if you want." Yako and the others sigh in relief but my smirk grows wider.

     "But you guys have to do 1000 push-ups." The others groan and I just laugh in their face.

     "Haha! Oh, my gods! Your face!" Everyone's face turns into mortification as they see me laugh but afterward my expression changes back to my serious one again.

     "I will help you guys with the details of the plan but we need to do it quick. I'm afraid that the enemy will attack tonight." The others give each other glances of nervousness and fear but they quickly compose themselves and nod at me.

     "Let's have an emergency meeting. Now." We all rush to the meeting room while thinking about the new threat.

-----Meeting room-----

     "This is your plan huh? Not bad, it is just like what I think." Everyone looks at me with a small smile as the atmosphere tense up because of the news that the enemy will attack tonight.

     "For the details, it's this....." I explain the details that I just plan out and the others nod as this is our only chance to turn the tide in our favor. I dismiss the members leaving behind Alister, my friends, and me in the room.

     "Are you okay, Aaron?" I nod and cross my arms on my chest, thinking hard about how to use the magic of the part of the relic to our favor.

     "Aaron, are you sure?" Aragorn asks me and I nod, smiling reassuringly at him.

     "I'm sure." He looks at me in the eyes, suddenly being surprised about the determined look in them. I pull him gently to the sided and pull out the relic that hangs on the string necklace that Allen had given to me before I join Xurenth and smile sadly at him.

     "I may die because of overuse of magic, Aragorn." Aragorn stares at me in shock and wants to argue but I stop him with the wave of my hand.

     "I know that you want to prevent this from happening but right now my power could only match up to Lucifer's power or his son's powers when facing them head-on. Satan told me a few days before that if I use the relic and know the full extent of my power, only then I could defeat Lucifer and his sons but I still don't know the true extent of my powers. So if I die, you will be the commander of Team E and promise me something Aragorn," I take in a breath of fresh air before saying "protect the whole team like a family if I die and never lose yourself to the darkness. Can you do that?" Aragorn nod sadly at me and hug me.

     "Please be safe in the battle, Aaron." I nod in thanks and hug Aragorn back in a bear hug.

     "You too, Aragorn."

-----meanwhile-----

     "It is starting, my lord." The man grins and puts an arm around the traitor of Aaron's side of the war.

     "Good. Did anyone notice that you are on my side, Protector of the West, Luthia?" The woman who is called Luthia shakes her head and the man grins while ruffling her head.

     "Good. You may go now." Luthia nod and quickly go back to her home as the man grins menacingly while spinning the pen in his hand.

     "Be careful, Aaron. I am coming after you."
