You sat quietly on the carpet, watching the view underneath, the people looking like ants.
"What's wrong with you? These days you aren't smiling." A voice pulled you back into the reality.
"It's nothing to worry about, Judar."
"Do I look like a person who cares?" He laughed, looking forward.
"A... True true, magi..."
~~~~
You sighed, finishing the book you started reading yesterday morning. You couldn't understand.
You always smiled, you were just that type of person.
You sat on the bench in the garden of the palace, enjoying the last touches from the sun before it disappeared into the horrizont.
"I don't like it when you are smiling. Come ooooon, where is that child I usually know." Judar jumped out of nowhere, a peach in his right hand. (A/N: They forced me to eat peaches while I wrote this xd)
A drop from the juice fell on his body, rolling down until his lower stomach.
"Maybe I'm not a kid anymore!" You said irritated, mostly because you were trying to hold the urge to blush.
"I know you too well, (Y/N). Don't lie to me."
"You are a strange person, Judar." You mumbled, looking at the sky.
~~~~
"We are going! I hate seeing you like this." Judar stormed inside your room, grabbing you by the hand.
"First - keep it quiet, the others are sleeping. Second - knock for fuck sake, I could be naked or something! And third - what the fuck are you talking about?!" You tried to release your hand from his grasp.
He did not answer you, but looked at you, his crimson eyes shining, a smirk forming on his lips.
You mentally facepalmed, wanting to slap yourself across the face.
"Damn you! Judar!"
~~~~
"I still don't understand why you brought me to Sindria..." You mumbled, watching the people who cheered around you and the magi.
"You'll see. I just want to make you smile."
"And how the hell this will make me happy?! We are practically in the enemy territory right now." You pouted, feeling him pulling you once more into an unknown direction.
After a minute or two walking, you ended up into a really crowded area, where it was full mostly of women.
You looked at Judar, raising an eyebrow.
"Dress in this. I'll tell you what to do then." He pointed.
"OH, heck no. You are not going to make me dress in this."
~~~~
"I hate you right now, do you know that?" You smiled at him, your cheeks heating up.
"But you look so cute in it." He caressed your stomach, making your face even redder.
You were wearing a black chunnari which covered your chest, having nothing underneath, and a black dress starting from the lower part of your stomach, and having both ends at your upper knee and ankle. You had golden bracelets, which shined from the light around you, and a golden medallion, which ended just at the edge of the chunnari.
You felt yourself being quite exposed, and many man eyes were watching every single step you made.
"Come on, I'm doing this for you, smile a bit for me damn it." He whined.
"It's a little bit hard when I feel so exposed, Judar." You whispered, your cheeks red as ever.
"Hmmm, ah, there!" He grabbed you and pushed towards a few women dressed in black too. "This festival is weird. It is divided into two dance groups. The dancers of the light, and the dancers of the night. So off you go. Dance!" He pushed you at the group.
You glared at him when suddenly the crowd became silent. The group bowed.
But to who?
You looked up, your (e/c) orbs meeting a pair of golden.
"King Sinbad...."
One of the woman started moving, twisting her body so much that you thought she might brake.
'What am I supposed to do now?!'
You closed your eyes, inhaling the smell of the delicious food around you, you focused on the music that ringed into your ears, just like the old times.
Suddenly you started moving so fast, everybody were shocked. The way you moved, so swiftly, so... Unreal, made the people stare in awe and a certain magi had his jaw open.
Voices could be heard around you, which made you a little bit uneasy.
"Who is she?"
"Do you know her?"
"Is she from Sindria?"
The king himself was slightly confused, together with one of his Eight generals, so that is why they kept a close eye on you.
You weren't that worried about yourself, no. It was because of Judar.
He was easy to notice and easy to recognize as an enemy. Plus you've heard that there is also a magi in Sindria, so it won't be a problem for him to notice too...
You looked behind yourself, searching for a certain person, who out of the sudden had disappeared.
You could hear the crowd cheering, their eyes all focused on you.
Footsteps.
Your eyes widened as you looked in front of you again, the King of Sindria just a few meters ahead.
He had that odd for you smile, and waved.
You gulped, walking backwards a bit.
"Come, (Y/N)!" You felt yourself being pulled towards an almost bare chest.
Then with fast steps you left, hearing the yells from Sinbad behind.
When Judar felt it was safe enough, he released his hand from around your wrist.
You breathed in and out a few times before you felt your lips twisting into a smile.
A smile that soon turned into a light chuckle, and then into a laugh.
"That was awesome!" You laughed, your soft voice ringing through the trees around.
Judar looked at you in disbelief then smiled like a kid, ruffling your head.
"You finally smiled! I knew it!" He sat on the ground.
"Why was it so important to you for me to smile?" You looked at him, trying to fix your ruined hair, locks of it tickling your cheeks.
"Well..." He scratched his neck nervously.
"O, the great magi is nervous, haaaa, what happened to that Judar who always takes things so irresponsible?" You felt tears forming into your eyes from laughter.
You didn't notice when he had stood up from the ground and walked towards you.
You stared at his eyes, suddenly feeling your body heavy, unable to move nor talk.
He lifted your chin with his finger, leaning more and more closer to you.
You felt his cold lips touching yours, deepening the kiss as he pulled you closer by the waist. Your hands went around his neck, your heart pounding like crazy.
To think that the magi himself will do this. And more expecially, he is kissing no one else than you.
This thought made your cheeks heat up a bit.
A night with the magi.
It was somewhat funny inside your head. That the person that least cares for the others, will do something like this.
But it also made you happy that you have him.
Maybe, just maybe... Deep inside him, there was still a part which cared.
After pulling away, the need for oxygen rushing in both of you, you smiled at him.
Hе hugged you tight... Very very tight, chuckling.
"By the way, you did awesome back there. The dance was cool. But you know, if you twisted a little bit more... The chunnari was almost going to fall." He smirked.
"Judar! You damn magi, you have been staring into my chest the whole time, haven't you?!"
