With Jay Halstead

Jay was getting ready for work when an unknown car and they opened fire, and one of the bullets hit his lungs, and he fell.

Someone called 911, and Jay was taken to Chicago Med for life-threatening injuries.

Maggie helped perform surgery on Jay and was the first person he saw when he woke up, and she walked over to him.

Jay asked," What happened? I was getting ready for work, and I was in the hospital.

Maggie said, " Mr. Halstead, you're were shot and are very lucky to be alive. The bullet hit your lungs. I'll let the doctor know you are awake. Maggie walks out.

Dr. Tyler Smith walks inside and asks," How are you feeling, Jay? We are glad you are up.

Jay Halstead," I am feeling better, Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith said," Okay. Here are your discharge papers. Hope you have a nice day.

Jay said," Thank you. He signs the papers.

Jay calls for his brother Thomas to pick him up, and Thomas picks Jay up, and they head home, and Jay heads upstairs to relax.

Jay then makes dinner, and their parents, mom Susana, who is pregnant with Quadruplets, sits down first and eats dinner.

Dad Patrick then eats, and they head to bed.

Hyacinth eats dinner after their dad, and she leaves the table, and they are heading to bed. Izzy and Thomas eat dinner, and then they head to bed, and Jay eats dinner and cleans up the kitchen, and he heads to bed.

Jay thought about the nice nurse he met.

Jay smiled for the first time in a while and slept.
