Sans is a MONSTER and not a HUMAN, so he doesn't follow HUMAN biology like a HUMAN skeleton. Same with Gaster and Papyrus.

----------------------------------

"I can imagine she'll be happy, but at the same time, I won't be surprised if she wants to eat him alive." Chara was discussing with Asriel on the living room couch, as they were still talking about the fact that Frisk and Sans were proposing to each other. Luna and Leo weren't really paying much attention to their conversation, as they were more focused on the child's movie that was playing for them on the television. The reason the Dreemurr girl said this was because Frisk really had wanted Sans to propose to her, and she would get that dream that she had wanted; at the same time, the ring that she had gotten for him must have been extremely expensive. It would just mean that they would both have a ring.

"I don't know. Frisk is always sweet towards him." Asriel pointed out, which Chara knew was true. Frisk was always so soft on that skeleton, even when he was acting like a jerk, somehow she was able to be so patient with him and bring him back around to being calm when he may have been worked up and extremely frustrated. She must have had the patience of a saint. "But you would bite someone's head off if that happened?" The goat questioned with a chuckle and Chara crossed her arms.

"I'm just saying, if I'm going to spend money on an expensive ring because the other person couldn't, and then they did when I thought they wouldn't, I might have a few things to say." Chara commented with a risen eyebrow, but then she chuckled and shook her head. She didn't even have a boyfriend, so something like getting engaged was something that was a million years away, not to mention she didn't really know if it was for her. She hadn't had a romantic interest in a million years, maybe not since she was a silly little girl who might get a stupid crush on any boy she'd see. But she was 24, and never had a single relationship, and probably never needed one, not when she had her family; her friends, namely her best friend: Asriel.

"Makes sense." Asriel laughed a little himself. "I do hope those two last though. I remember sometimes when I would work with Sans, when he was forced to work with someone because he was so uptight about going alone, and I was actually with him when we met Frisk for the first time. Back then, he was so much different, I'd say he is a better person now." Asriel murmured thoughtfully, as he was staring towards the movie that was on upon the TV, but he wasn't really paying that much attention to the moving images on the television as he was talking more about his thoughts. "It's sad; you think of couples of how mom and dad used to be, but they're nothing like they used to be when I was a kid. I wouldn't want to see that happen to them too."

Chara stared towards the goat with a thoughtful expression of her own as she noticed how down he suddenly looked, talking about his parents. The human girl didn't really remember much of what it was like when Toriel and Asgore was happy together, probably because she was brought into the family around the time when they were momentarily happy, and then things just sort of crumbled from then on. Because Chara obviously never was Toriel and Asgore's daughter, seeing as she was a human and they were goats. Like Frisk, she had been brought into their family at quite a young age, having nowhere else to go, where she gained two parents and a best friend. Asriel was never considered as a brother to her, not because she was being mean or anything like that; rather because him being her best friend meant much more to her.

"It won't happen to them." Chara bluntly replied. "Sans may be an idiot sometimes, he may be stubborn and he may act like a jerk when he's sulking, but those two... They're meant for each other." The human mentioned, seeing Asriel frown towards her. "Not that Asgore and Toriel aren't meant for each other. I know they may not be as close as they used to be, but Asgore has been making the effort to spend more time with her." She pointed out, which the goat could admit was true. That's why there were some days where the Mafia was just closed down for an entire day, because the goat man would be wanting to have a day with his family rather than working. It used to be so rare he would do that, but it did happen more often these days.

"Do you think..." Asriel started, but then he noticed how Leo and Luna were still in the room. Everyone knew that they were supposed to keep the two kids away from the Mafia, so he lowered his voice. He knew they probably wouldn't even know what they were talking about anyway even if they heard, seeing as they were so young; the goat didn't want to risk it though. "...Asgore might completely shut down the Mafia one day?" He asked, seeing Chara raise her eyebrows at him. "I've been thinking about it lately. It's so much to take on, being the boss of such a group. And it will always keep getting in the way if he keeps proceeding with it. Part of me wants him to do that if it will make my parents happy, and if it means I get to see him more often rather than him slaving away in his office..." Asriel went on. "But then if it closes, there's so many of us who won't know what to do afterwards."

That was true, Chara thought. She didn't really know what she would do with her own life, realising she was a normal person like everyone else if she was let go from the Mafia. Sans definitely wouldn't know what to do-- at least, career wise. Weirdly enough, that skeleton would probably be fine if he ended up losing his job. Yeah, making money would be more of an issue, but even now he didn't seem to work as often as he used to, as he must have enjoyed getting to spend time with the two giggly children who were sitting on the living room carpet. The guy who was once a loner would likely gladly devote his entire livelihood to his girlfriend, (or rather, future wife), and his children. He had already been doing that for the past 7 years.

"I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. I think if he was going to do that, he would have done it by now. Plus, think of how many people would lose their jobs." Chara said. Asgore wouldn't want to put so many people in such shitty situations for his own benefit, seeing as the main reason why many people were even part of the Mafia to begin with was because they had to gain money somehow, and without it, their lives probably weren't the greatest thing in the world. In the weirdest way, the Mafia saved many peoples lives. It saved her own, it saved Frisk's... The Mafia was viewed as this big scary group, and yeah, they could be fierce towards their enemies, but in this group they were like one big family. Chara felt like that what Toriel forgot sometimes, that it wasn't just about the violence and the missions. They may have not been living the most "ordinary" of lives, but Chara wouldn't change it, Asriel wouldn't change it.

"I guess you're right." The goat monster replied, and with that being said, the two just fell silent and paid attention to the movie that Luna and Leo were clearly enjoying. But while they were quiet and not really saying anything, it was clear they were now thinking about what they were just talking about, (and about how Sans and Frisk were doing on their date). They really did hope that it was going well for them, and that they were having a lovely night.

The Dreemurr girl really was happy for her big sister.
