CHAPTER 45
Chapter 45: Agon's POV
I LEFT the mansion, but my mind was still there, thinking about my wife and my brother. I'm having a bad feeling about something.
"We're here," Nick shouted through the wireless earphone.
"Will you fucking stop shouting?" I said, pissed.
"Tsk. Idiots," Raji commented.
A plain field comes into view when we reach the said place. Napababa kaming lahat as we hold our guns tightly.
"Take your positions," I commanded. "I want them down before they know that we are here."
"Understood," they all said in unison.
I stood in front, surveying the field. It's like an ordinary field, but in the distance, there's a hidden bunker blending into the empty landscape.
We moved at the bunker's perimeter using each grass as a cover. No one noticed until I spotted 5 men guarding the entrance of the bunker.
"I'll take that on the left," Nick said.
"Right is on me," Ardeen added.
"Raj——"
"Yeah, I know."
"Let's take them out," I signaled.
A muffled sound rang out as we took them down instantly. They barely had the time to react before they dropped dead on the ground.
I signaled again to advance.
Our men scattered through the area taking down every enemy. As we got inside the bunker, we were welcomed by a narrow corridor that had lights flickering.
"They are inside this room," Raji whispered, pointing to the black door.
With Nick's thunderous kick, the door swung open and chaos erupted. Before the enemy touched their weapons, we fired them with a non-stop bullets, taking down everyone.
"Get down!" they shouted.
"Die, motherfuckers!" Nick shouted while laughing.
"It's payback time! Wooh!" Ardeen seconded.
The others flip the table to take cover, but no one can hide when we marked our targets.
In just a span of minutes, the room was filled with silence.
Raji pinned someone on the floor while the muzzle of his gun was kissing on his forehead.
"Where's the bastard Jandron and Jogo?! Speak or die!" his voice roared with authority.
"W-wala sila rito. . .n-nasa kabilang h-hideout," tinuro niya kung saan iyon.
Marahas siyang binitiwan ni Raji pero napansin ko agad ang pagdampot niya ng baril at itututok kay Raji pero agad kong inunahan ng putok ng baril.
"Binuhay ka na, naghanap ka pa ng paraan para mamatay." Napailing ako. "Let's go."
Mabilis kaming napalabas sa bunker.
"We need to scatter," Raji suggested.
We nodded.
"Careful everyone, tuso ang dalawang 'yan," I warned them.
We headed to their hideout, and an abandoned building greeted us.
"Dapa!" Nick said, and a series of gunfires erupted.
Tsk! They knew!
"I really have a bad feeling about this, Raj," tawag ko.
"What's the matter?"
"Call Kajix, I want him to be there."
I heard him talk to Kajix. He's the most trusted man he have. I trust him.
As I waited for Raji's response, we advanced as we took more enemies down. Matagal din bago magsalita si Raji.
"Kajix's in the mansion," rinig kong sabi ni Raji.
"Nick, Ardeen, let's go inside, " I commanded. Napahawak ako sa earpiece na suot. "How's my wife? Levin?"
Wala akong narinig na sagot.
"Levin's room was locked down. Kajix can't open it," he said.
A sudden flashback lingered in my mind after hearing it.
"Press that button if something happens. This will protect Levin and no one can get inside except us," I instructed Jeyk.
"Paano siya kapag mala-lock na at hindi siya makalabas? Paano 'yon?"
"He has his own fridge inside. He can live for a month there without getting out, but of course it's not good for a kid to be locked inside."
"Fuck! Where's my wife?! Raji, where's my wife?!" I panicked.
I let my frustration out on the enemies, killing them all.
"Jeyk's missing. Wala siya sa mansion sabi ni Kajix," Raji said on my earpiece.
"Fuck!"
