taehyung had woken up in the middle of the night by a loud thunder outside. he groaned lightly, shifting in his position, causing his head to lay on jeongguk's arm.

he didn't care though and just snuggled closer to the older. when another thunder echoed taehyung clasped his hands against his ears.

he never was scared of thunders, it's just the fact that he never was able to sleep when there's a thunder storm.

taehyung huffed, trying to pull the blanket up, so that his ears are also covered with it, as thunder after thunder and lightning after lightning followed.

"princess?" taehyung turned to look to the older, who rubbed his eyes, looking at his lover.

"i'm sorry, i didn't want to wake you." taehyung mumbled. "i can't sleep because of the thunder." the ravenette pouted.

jeongguk smiled lightly, engulfing the smaller into his arms. "is my princess scared?"

taehyung huffed annoyed. "i ain't, it's just too loud."

the older chuckled. "it's alright, close your eyes." jeongguk whispered, as he pulled taehyung closer, pressing the smaller's head against his chest, one hand held against his ear on the other side.

"when i was a kid, i hated the rain." jeongguk began to speak, his voice angelic, soft and deep.

"i didn't like it, because i wasn't allowed to go outside." taehyung closed his eyes, as jeongguk continued telling his story, while brushing his hand through taehyung's soft hair.

"you know, i hated staying inside when i was younger. i thought staying inside was boring. jin hyung always stayed inside, while me and jaehee loved going outside."

the thunder was already forgotten by taehyung, even though it was still there.
"jin hyung... he was supposed to have my spot. but my father thought he was too soft for this... so he trained me to be strong, so that i can be the future mafia leader."

taehyung slowly wrapped his arm around him too, jeongguk smiled. "it's not a big deal, i got used to this life. but i really would like to know what i'd be doing if i wasn't a mafia leader."

taehyung opened his eyes by that. he was surprised, because he never thought that jeongguk would like to know how it is to not be a mafia leader.

"jeon what would you wanna do if you weren't tied to your responsibilities as a mafia leader?"

"don't ask questions, but sleep, princess." taehyung blushed by that and nodded lightly, hiding his head in jeongguk's chest, closing his eyes again.

"i don't know... maybe go somewhere else, leave korea and start new..."

he loved the way taehyung's hair was feeling so soft between his fingers.

"with you of course"

taehyung barely heard it, his senses getting dragged down due to almost falling asleep again. but he still caught the words and smiled lightly.

"have a nice house with you..."

"cuddle you all day..."

"take you to how many dates you want..."

jeongguk continued listing things, things that would've made taehyung tear up and cry in happiness if he hadn't fallen asleep while jeongguk's soothing voice guided him to do so.

"princess?" when taehyung didn't answer, the mafia leader placed a small kiss to the younger's forehead, smiling contently at how nice it just felt to hold taehyung.

"why are you awake this early?" it was the next day, jeongguk woke up pretty early, it being only 7am, but he couldn't seem to fall asleep again, so he just got up— of course not without checking if taehyung was fine and sleeping comfortably.

"i-i just wanna get some water" the only girl in this household answered, voice shaking as she hadn't expected to meet the mafia leader in the kitchen.

he had grabbed himself some banana milk, when he heard the footsteps of the girl advancing the kitchen, until she entered the room.

there was no conversation between them after, as aro didn't know— or rather was scared— to say something and jeongguk wasn't fond of having a conversation with his boyfriend's sister either.

but after a time, she decided to break the silence. "jeong...guk?" the blond who was leaning against the counter, took a last sip of his milk and looked up.

"what?" he questioned, the girl instantly looked down.

"do you take good care of tae? do you love him?"

jeongguk threw the small paper can into the bin and looked back up to the girl. there are slight features in her face that do resemble taehyung, displaying that aro is his sister. though, besides these small similarities, jeongguk couldn't see more similarities with taehyung in her.

"i love him."

the girl bit her lip. "i don't want taehyung to go through the same thing again—

"i'm not park bogum," jeongguk interrupted, jaw tight.

"i'm sorry... i'm just worried." the girl was obviously nervous. "i mean... you are a mafia, you're cruel? you kill people and stuff—

"we only kill those who deserve it." aro gulped, wondering if she unintentionally pressed a button she shouldn't have, since jeongguk's voice was way deeper than before.

"i'm sorry..."

a groan left the male's lips. "stop apologizing, you know nothing."

aro nodded. "please.. just love taehyung right. he was always really attached to the thought of finding his real other half and he... seems to love you a lot. treat him well."

"that's nothing you have to worry about, i love taehyung and i won't let anything bad happen to him. why do you even suddenly care? getting emotional after you just experienced it yourself?"

a deep sigh left the girl's lips. she has already guessed that she won't be able to have a normal conversation with jeongguk— if he doesn't like you, he pretty much shows it with his words and actions.

"after taehyung left, i got through the torture he had gone through and i realized— he was never lying, he always said the truth. you don't know how i felt when bogum started touching me too, when i heard i was gonna marry him... it doesn't justify my actions—

"right! it doesn't! taehyung fucking reached out for help to you, but you didn't even listen to him! you were the only one he had at home, but you... you failed in being the sister he deserves." jeongguk shuddered lightly, he thought about jaehee, the girl who always helped him, who always did everything so her brother was fine and happy.

"you know that's not how a sister acts, yet in the end, he believed you'd help him, he hd hope you'd trust him this time. taehyung never lost his complete faith in you."

by now, the smaller girl was crying, silent tears rolled down her cheeks, but jeongguk didn't care at all. someone fucking has to tell her the truth.

"I KNOW!" jeongguk looked surprised at her. "i fucking know i'm the worst sister on this whole planet, for not listening to my brother and then not helping him— there's nothing that can justify this! but my view on taehyung changed, he grew up, he survived alone in this world, even though he got fucking kidnapped by you and your men, he's an adult now, not the bratty 20-years- old who ran away from his wedding."

she took a deep breath while continuing. "i always knew... he hated our family, hated our wealth and the way we treated people. he used our money to donate it, mever to pleasure his own needs. he never went shopping in high class stores like gucci, always went to usual stores in the city. he hated displaying that he was in actual rich— he hated it, because it wasn't his money. it was our parents money and... and he hated our parents."

"so when he told the things about bogum and stuff like that— i thought he was lying because he didn't want to marry him—

"don't lie, kim. as long as i know, you tried to convince him that this was how husbands were supposed to act. touching without consent, forced kisses— that's not it." jeongguk's teeth were gritted and one hand balled into a fist, imagining what bogum could have done to his princess.

aro wiped a tear away. "right— i said that. but i never tried to convince him. i thought he was lying about all the bogum thingy, so i said that... if i knew he was saying the truth—

"you believed that asshole more than your own brother! stop finding fucking excuses, you look pathetic."

"jeon!" jeongguk and the girl instantly turned their heads to the door, where taehyung was standing, looking at them with wide, unbelieving eyes. "you don't talk to her like that."

taehyung was glad to see aro here, knowing hoseok and namjoon succeeded with the plane, but he had other concerns currently.

jeongguk scoffed, ignoring the small problem that arose while looking at taehyung, who was only wearing an oversized t-shirt from jeongguk and short joggers and hose hair was messy, but messy in an a adorable way. damn.

"what's going on here?" the black haired asked, as he walks towards the two, eyes landing on his sister, who was trying to contain her tears, then on jeongguk, who was checking him out.

"what did you say?" he asked sternly, jeongguk wanted to coo at how adorable taehyung was looking like this, but didn't, knowing that mad taehyung equals scary taehyung.

"i made her open her eyes and see what she did wrong." the oldest in the room answered. taehyung sighed.

"just don't listen to him." taehyung smiled at his sister and jeongguk looked at him offended, but aro only shook her head.

"n-no, he is right. taehyung i'm so sorry, i am the worst sister in the world and... i don't know how i can ever make things better to you... you have suffered... and i ignored it."

the youngest rolled his eyes. "calm down, sis, i already forgave you and you, mister, you're not gonna shout at her like that again. you barely know her." taehyung raised his index finger at jeongguk, who just chuckled darkly.

taehyung warily pulled his finger away again, turninb to hsi sister. "noona, go back to your room, it's early."

the girl nodded and left, without glancing to both males.

next thing taehyung knew was, he was pinned against the fridge by his boyfriend, whose eyes were shining darkly.

taehyung scoffed. "what do you want?"

an answer wasn't really what he got, when he felt jeongguk's lips already against his. taehyung let a surprised loud out, before kissing back, not being able to refuse jeongguk when he's like that.

jeongguk was pressing taehyubg against the fridge with his whole body, causing taehyung to tilt his head back, as jeongguk was taller than him.

jeongguk smirked, as he cut off and wiped the saliva from taehyung's lips. "what the fuck was that for?"

"you look so kissable while being so demanding.. and this fit..." jungkook's warm hand moved under the hem of taehyung's shirt as it started caressing the younger's tummy. taehyung let a shaky breath out, cheeks and ears turning red.

"n-no stop, i'm mad at you."

pulling his hand away, jeongguk smiled. "you're not." he whispered, to which taehyung looked away. "i am."

jeongguk just smiled. "stop pouting, or i'll kiss you again."

taehyung looked up with glistening eyes, pouting heavier, causing a chuckle to leave jeongguk's lips, before he attached them to taehyung's for a short moment.

"by the way." taehyung began talking, reaching his hands up to play with jeongguk's hair. "i'd love to start new with you too."

a surprised expression formed on jeongguk's face, he thought taehyung didn't hear him last night, but knowing he did doesn't bother him at all. instead it made him happy. "i love you."

taehyung smiled. "i love you more."

there was a small pause.

"but you have to be nice to aro, she acknowledged her wrongs and is really sorry. give her a chance."

jeongguk rolled his eyes, "fine, just 'cause she's your sister."

"well, she'll be yours in law too"
