Author's pov:) The plane landed safely on Chicago O'Hare International Airport from India. It was something khushleen was waiting for since long. After completing D.O. ( Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine ), she applied for neurosurgical surgery residency program in the University of Chicago Pritzker school of medicine ( Chicago IL ) and finally she got an opportunity to study in USA.

Tears welled up in her eyes when she finally laid her feet on the land of Chicago city.

How should I tell you about my happiness, O people of Chicago city ? I'M VERY VERY VERY HAPPY today. ( khushi was screaming very loudly with joy and tears rolled down through her cheeks and the people were looking at her strangely )

OHHH!! these people must be thinking I'm crazy.. ( she suddenly lower her voice after realising her actions and went toward the board checking area)

After getting the board checking done I come out of the airport and started looking around

I roamed my eyes around in desperation trying to find a similar face between all these people.

I'm trying to find her but she is nowhere to be found

Where are you yaar? I spoke in my mind.

Kha margi yeh ladki ? ( where the hell is she die ? )

Suddenly someone come from behind and hugged me. I almost jumped of my own skin at sudden shock.

Kida meri jaan ? ( how are you my life ? ) Spoke a voice behind me.

Hain ? Wait!! , this voice seems familiar..

When I recognized this voice my shock went away..

Meher.. ( I break the hug and turned to face her , a huge smile appeared on my face When I saw her , my best friend ( Meher ) )

I hugged her tightly , why not she is my painkiller.

"Kive aa ?" ( khushi spoke )

"Siiraa.. .. tu ds" ( Good , you tell ) ( Meher Spoke )

"Ghaint aa main v" ( I'm also good )

"Yaar tumhe pta hai maine tumhe kitna miss kiya! Now, Finally we are together after a long time. Abb maine tumhe khi nhi jane dena bass!! Hamme bs ab ghumna hai , khana- pena aur enjoy krna hai.." ( Meher spoke )

"Acha ji ? Aur kaam kon krega ?" ( khushi Spoke in taunting way )

"Koi ni kaam bhi dekh lenge 😁. "
( They both laughed at their own silly talk )

"Hey dear , your smile is so pretty. "
( A lady supposed to be in her 50's said to khushi while passing by them )

"Thank you mam "( giving her a smile khushi said )

"Let's go to home khushi "( Meher Spoke )

Suddenly hairs on my neck pricked..

"Wait, I feel something is strange around us.." ( khushi sopke While having aa tensed face )

"Huh! What strange ? Are you okay khushi ?"

I feel like someone is observing us..
I looked around to find out who observed us but unfortunately I found no one .

"May be I am overthinking. "

"You are tired khushi that's why you overthinking, and why will someone observe us yaar , just chill.. Let's go home now ."

"Ahmm hm , let's go.. "

( they both got in the car while Meher sat on the driver's seat.)

On call..

Sir they left from the airport.

I have attached the GPS inside their car. I have put it under the passanger seat... they will never find out.

~ A man wearing a black suit , black shades on his eyes , black colour airpods put in his ears , holding a laptop in his hands , standing near the black mercedes-benz observing khushi's every moment and giving information to his boss.

arjun hired him. He is his boss.

Arjun's pov:)

I hired him only for her . "For my jaan" ( jaan = life )
"For my sohni" ( sohni = Beautiful).

He will be telling me every movement of her.

I don't want my jaan to face any trouble in there . Chicago is unknown city for her, she is visiting there for first time , so I hired few guards for her safety.

"Few ? How many guards you hired mister ?" ( nirvair I enquires )

"Just 50.. 😌 and the special one SHAMSHER "( arjun answered )

"Just ? is this just bro ? Why don't you put yourself as a guard for her instead of them , you are enough for her bro.. No one dare to harass her whenever you'll with her . ( nirvair spoke ) "

"Yes I know, I can protect her without anyone's support but what if she gets in trouble and I'm not there.. So, for her safety I hired them."

"Sir they stopped at coffee shop for 20 mins and went straight to their appartment . ( shamsher spoke )"

"Now shamsher, fix the meeting with the Mr. Edward at the day after tomorrow, I want to talk with him face to face ( arjun spoke ) "

Arjun sit on his chair like a king and a huge screen is ON infront of him where khushi's video is playing that shamsher sent him . shamsher fixed the camera in his pen through which khushi's view is clearly recorded and is properly visible to arjun.

Arjun put his one hand on his chest when Khushi smiled and with the other one he holds the glass of rum.

"Your smile will kill me one day sohniyeh.."
"Jaan hain aap hamari..."
( you are my life )
"You are just made for me , only for me.. No one have right to look at you except me my jaan. "( Arjun spoke while having a devil smile on his face )

"otherwise they will know what happens when you mess with lion"
