Chapter 8
~Ace
I looked towards the door.
"Vincent," I sighed in relief. I noticed he wasn't happy. I shift.
"Oh so you're finally here," they said.
"I want my boyfriend back,"
"We aren't dating," I stated
"Seriously," they said sliding hand up my leg. I shuddered. I heard Vincent growling. I looked at him.
"He's mine,"
"I don't see your name on him," they said hand is getting closer to where it's not supposed to be.
I saw Vincent storm over grabbing them by the neck. He growled, "He's mine." I saw them go limp.
"Vinc," I whispered. He looked at me.
"Detective," Vincent whispered and got the ropes off. I curled up. I felt something wrapped around me, "Ready to go home?"
I nodded. He picked me and headed out. I looked around saw the bodies. I close my eyes and lay my head on his shoulder.
"Thank you," I whispered.
"Don't thank me, Ace," he said, walking to his car
"I do because if you didn't show up when you did. I wouldn't be," I stopped.
"Wait your a virgin," Vincent looked at me. I nodded, "How?
"I never got into a serious relationship. I work too much to get into one," I mumbled.
"Well now you don't have to worry about searching for one," He puts me in the car.
"What do you mean?" I looked up at him. He leans down and kissed me. I was surprised but kissed back. He cups my cheeks. I lean into it. We pulled apart.
"Please, Ace be with me?" Vincent whispered placing his forehead against mine.
"You know this complicate thing," I whisper.
"I don't care. You're the only thing that keeps me from going over the edge,"
"Vincent," I whispered pulled him close. I felt him gripping the blanket around me. I rubbed his back, "Alright Vinc," I yawned.
"Now let's go home," he whispered.
"Alright, do you remember how to get to my place?" I asked.
"Yes, but you don't live there anymore?"
"What do you mean?" I looked up at him.
"You have been gone for two weeks,"
"So?"
"So, I want to keep an eye on you because of that and your landlord told me he wanted you out,"
"Of course he does," I sighed then I remember, "Wheres my cat?"
"She's at my place,"
"Wait all my stuff is at your place?"I asked.
"Yes," He said pulling back.
"Alright," I yawned. He walked to the driver's side. I leaned back more. I close my eyes and relax more. I felt myself slowly drifting asleep.
