I woke up to someone entering the room that I was in. I looked to see Atticus and his little brother.

"Supper is done," Alfred said, before leaving.

"Alright," Atticus said. He looked down at me. I close my eyes again. After a few minutes, he got up but I don't want him to leave.

"Please don't go," I whispered, grabbing a hold of his wrist.

"I'm not leaving," He said. Atticus was going to sit in that uncomfortable chair. I don't know what I was thinking, but I pulled him onto the bed that I was laying in. I snuggled closer to him.  Atticus let out some air but gave in and wrapped his arms around me. I smiled and waited until he was sleep. I want to see his scares. 

After a few minutes, I heard is breathing slowed down and his chest raised and fall slowly. Atticus was a sleep. I slide his shirt up to see his whole torso was lettered with scares and some burns.  I felt warm liquid running down my face. The door opened to see it was Alfred.

"Hey, Alfred," I smiled at him.

"I came up here to get you and my brother. Are you alright?" He asked, moving closer to the bed.

"Yeah, I'm good; just some bad memories," I said, pulling down Atticus's shirt.

"Well, we better wake him up," Alfred said. I nodded.

"Atticus, it's time to get up," I whispered into his ear. He stirred a wake.

"5 more minutes," he mumbled, closing his eyes again.

"If you don't get up there will be no food left," I said.

"Alright," He said, sitting up. Atticus looked at me. He must of notice that we are in the same bed together.

"We did nothing," I reassured him.  He nodded and climbed out of bed. I was struggling to move my legs. I managed to get out of bed but fell back on to it. Atticus looked at me and notice how shaky my legs are.

"Need help?" he asked in his deep accent. I nodded. Atticus walked back over to me and picked me up.  He started down the stairs with me in his arms. 

"Well, I never thought that this will ever happened," Lithe said, while a smile grew on his face.

"Shut up, Lithe!" Atticus yelled. His father looked up at us and notice me in his son's arms.

"He can't walk yet, can he?" His father asked. Atticus nodded, "Well, sit down and eat, boys."

Atticus and I nodded. Atticus placed me in a chair that was closest to him.

"Thanks, Atticus," I said, adjusting myself on the seat.

"Don't worry about it," Atticus said, fixing two plates, "Here," He said handing me a plate.  I grabbed the plate and nodded. I took a bite.

"This is good," I said, happily.  Everyone smiled at me.

"I'm glade that you like it," Alfred said, taking a bite out of his.

"Like it. I love it," I said, smiling even bigger. Alfred's smile grew bigger as well.

"Alright you two," Atticus and Alfred's dad said, looking up from his plate.

"Sorry, sir," Alfred said, putting his head down. 

"Sorry," I said, copying Alfred movements.

"Oh, lighten up. I'm messing with ya," Their father said with a smile. Alfred's shot up and looked at his dad.

"Zane, how are you feeling?" I heard Atticus asked.

"I'm fine, just a little tired," I said, trying to get up.

"Here, let me," Atticus said, pulling me out of the chair.  Atticus pulled a little to hard and I almost fell. Atticus help me to get stable by placing his arm around my waist. I blushed and tried to push him away.  Atticus wouldn't budge.

"Atticus, can you let go?" I asked, looking at his chest. The memories of all the scares that are across his torso.  Tears started to fall down my face.

"Zane, are you okay?" He asked in his deep accent.

"I'm fine but you're not," I said, more into his chest.

"What do you mean?" He asked, sounding confused.

"...." I stayed silent.

"You saw didn't you?" I asked in a low voice. I nodded. I could feel them staring at us.

"What do you mean he saw?" He father asked.

"Nothing," Atticus said, "I will tell when we get upstairs," He said, helping me the stairs.
