After the self talk, Nandini rushed to the canteen to order green tea. She grabbed the cup and moved towards Manik's cabin. As she entered the cabin, she saw that he was already in the cabin and was doing something on his laptop. She knocks the door and moves straight to his desk to hand over the cup. She stood there looking around his cabin. Manik was observing all her moves without her notice.

MANIK POV
It was early in the morning and sun rays where disturbing my sleep, I opened my eyes to welcome a new day. Every morning I wake up and it's just like every other day. But today was different as I will get to see my angel today. At the thought of my angel I checked the watch and moved to freshen up, I got ready and left for my office without having breakfast as I was excited to see her.

Manik attire

I have gone mad. I smiled at my own thought. I reached office on time and moved towards my cabin in full attitude, as I have an image of a rude and arrogant boss in office. I enter my cabin and get settled, I saw a girl's bag on the chair which meant she is here. I took out my laptop and start doing my work. After a few minutes I heard a knock and then I see a cup near me. I looked up and see my angel holding a cup of tea. After I take the tea from her hand she stood near my desk and looks around.

M-why are you standing Nandini??
N-sir I don't know where is my work        desk.

"Oh that is why she is standing my naive baby, she doesn't know that I have already set up her desk in my cabin so that she is in front of me 24*7"

M- Nandini your work desk is there
(I point towards a beautifully designed desk which I personally chose for her which is on the right side and a bit far from my desk. Her eyes widens and I see a smile on her reaction)

N- Sir the desk is amazing.
M- OK, now, Nandini, take this file              complete it and set my schedule            for today and let me know if there        are any meetings assigned for                today or not,I want this file                      completed by evening.

Nandini nod her head in approval and walked toward her desk and start doing her work. She got so engrossed in her work that she did not realize that Manik was observing her every move very keenly. After 15 minutes or so Nandini walks up to Manik and informs him that he has 2 meetings, one at 1:00 pm and the second at 4:00 pm. Manik nods his head and said

M- You too will accompany me in the        meeting and jot down important            points of the meeting. Complete            your work before hand if possible.
N- Yes Sir.

Nandini move towards her desk and both start doing their work. Time passes by and it is time for the meeting. Nandini is almost done with her file work and Manik is done too. They both head towards the conference room where the meeting is going to be held. Both enter the conference room and greet everyone present. Manik has a meeting with the Kapoor's. Mr Kapoor has a son name Rey who is staring at Nandini with eyes full of lust which is noticed by Manik and he is burning with possessiveness, He fists his hand to prevent himself from punching Rey.

R- Who is this beautiful girl with you       Manik?
M- She is my PA, Nandini, and                       Nandini this is Mr Kapoor and his        son Rey.
N- Hello sir

Nandini shakes hand with them, but Rey kisses her hand instead, which adds more fuel to Manik's anger. Manik looks at Nandini's face which displays uneasiness and discomfort.

R- Nice to meet you beautiful.
N- Nice to meet you too sir.
R- oh!!!! Don't call me sir it makes me       feel old. Call me Rey.
M- Let's start the meeting gentlemen.

Manik said with fake smile as he wanted Rey to leave Nandini's hand as he was holding it since a while. Nandini sighs in relief as Rey leaves her hand which was making her uncomfortable. The meeting went well according to Nandini, but not so much for Manik as Rey couldn't keep his eyes off Nandini plus he wasn't fully satisfied with the tender. After meeting and discussing about the points manik left the room in a flash and Nandini followed him. Manik entered his cabin and went straight to his desk and bangs his hand on the desk to calm himself. When Nandini entered in Manik's cabin and saw him standing near the window. She knew that his mood was off because of the deal and was trying to calm down. She was scared to approach him and called him out with a shaky voice.

N- ssss............. Sir!!!!

After hearing Nandini's voice Manik turns and calms down. This change was noticed by Nandini which stunned her. She thought her voice had affect on Manik. She called him out again.

N- sir are you OK?
M-(in calm tone) Yes Nandini I am             fine, do one thing, check the details       about the next meeting and inform       me.
N- Yes sir. (she smiled)

Manik smiled back to her Nandini was about to leave to get the file from the cupboard suddenly the door of the cabin banged open.
