CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR; SPITTING TRUTHS

As soon as Logan walked through the curtain, she was greeted by the embrace of a proud boyfriend, looking at her with a smile full of admiration.

No, she didn't have a match for him to be proud of, but just watching her go out there and put her voice out in the world made him happy.

Logan sucked in a breath and let it out as she wrapped her arms around Finn's neck. "Ya looked so hot out there." Finn breathed against her neck, sending chills down her spine; while electricity shot up.

It only took a few minutes for Logan's ears to stop ringing from the power of the crowd in San Jose, California. Everything she heard felt like it was muffled.

"Thank you." Logan finally answered him back when she pulled away slightly, and he took that opportunity to lean down and plant a soft kiss on her lips.

"Hey, none of that while I'm here." Bayley yelled behind them as she dramatically started to gag. Logan rolled her eyes while a smile grew on her face.

Both of her arms unlinked themselves from Finn's neck, but he kept her tucked into his side when his arm snaked around her waist. The couple looked over at the two ladies that were standing in front of them.

"Good to see you back, Bayley." Finn told her with a smile, and his arm unwrapped itself from Logan's waist to pull the girl into a much needed hug. Logan watched on with a content smile on her face, knowing that the two people standing in front of her had a tremendous relationship.

Sasha looked on from beside Bayley, her brown eyes briefly flickering over towards Logan. "You did good out there."

Logan nodded at her. "You too." Logan was just about to re-open her mouth to strike up conversation with her friend, but Sasha had beat her to it. "Hey, do you mind us taking Logan to travel with us heading into No Mercy." Her question was directed towards Finn, which had Logan raising her eyebrows and turning her head to take a look at Finn's expression.

Finn parted his lips to speak, but then closed his mouth and started pursing his lips like he was thinking hard at the question. In all honesty, Finn didn't want Logan to travel with them, since he would miss her company but he also knew that he had been quite selfish with her attention; having her for weeks on end since they've started dating.

"C'mon Ferg," Bayley cut into the conversation, hoping to level the odds of him saying yes to the both of them. Finn's blue eyes flickered onto the brunette, and he raised a single eyebrow. "You always get her, It's not fair."

Finn's lips turned up into a smile at the sight of a pout on Bayley's lips. "I guess so, I can travel with Gallows and Anderson this week." He told them, but it really wasn't a statement, it was a question that was directed in Logan's direction.

He wanted to make sure that she was okay with him traveling with the boys. "Yeah, you should spend some times with your boys anyways." Logan nodded her head at him, and then turning to smile at Bayley and Sasha.

Bayley clutched her hands together with an excited grin on her face. "Yes, thank you, Finn."

Logan looked down at her shoes, the fabric that was covering her kick pads were starting to slip down, exposing the padding. "I need to go touch-up my hair and makeup, So I'll-"

Finn scrunched his eyebrows up at the mention of her needing to touch-up. "Why, you're just coming back to the hotel?"

Logan's breath caught into her throat, knowing that she hadn't told Finn and the others that she had a Promo in exactly an hour. Logan's tongue slid over her bottom teeth, making her lip poke out a bit. "I'm doing this... uh.. interview later." She managed to say, making her own eyebrows furrow at her stumbling.

"Oh, alright." Finn nodded down at her. Sasha and Bayley glanced at each other from the corner of their eyes, knowing that she didn't have an interview scheduled tonight. Finn must've never looked at the bulletin board earlier.

'We're gonna go with her. So I'll talk to you later, Finn." Sasha was quick on her feet, watching as Logan was almost a foot away from him now, walking down the hallway.

Bayley nodded over at her questionably, not catching on that the two of them were going to go follow her, and find what the hell she was going to do and why she needed to lie to Finn about it. Sasha shot her a knowing glare, and Bayley's mouth formed an 'O' shape, "Ye-yeah. We will see you later, Finn." A nervous laugh escaped her mouth and she stared at the ground with widened eyes as the two ladies started to follow behind Logan.

"I know her ways, there's something going on here." Sasha's feet were moving on the concrete with fast speed, and Bayley struggled to catch up with her.

"Maybe it's none of our business, Sasha." Bayley shrugged her shoulders at her friend, knowing that they probably shouldn't be getting into Logan's business. But Bayley knew that Sasha was a stubborn person, and when she wanted to find something out, she was going to dig her nose where it didn't belong.

Sasha didn't even bother to answer Bayley back, in fact, all she got was an eye roll and a scoff. It wasn't long until they both reached Logan, who had just sat in the Makeup chair, and was looking down at her phone.

"An interview, huh?" Sasha brought her attention when she yelled out, her arm on her hip as she strided over with Bayley behind her. "Why isn't it on the board?"

Logan shrugged her shoulders while Toni began fixing some of her curls, "I don't know."

"Stop playing dumb with me, Perris." Sasha sneered. "I know bullshit when it comes out of your mouth." Sasha fixed her stance, her back going straighter as she held her ground and showing Logan that she meant business. She hated getting lied too all the time, she was her best friend, and best friends should know hidden things.

"Who the fuck crawled up your ass and died?" Logan blinked back in surprise at her friends outburst.

She didn't really see it as a big deal that Sasha was making this out to be, and by the look on Bayley's face, told her that she didn't really want to be apart of this.

"I'm sick of you hiding things from me!" Sasha yelled out, and then quieted her outburst when she saw her friends eyes widened. "Best friends tell each other things, and right now, I'm feeling left out."

"Alright, alright." Logan surrendered, crossing her right leg over her left to lean back into her chair as Toni began patting her face with some powder. "I have a Promo with Seth, and I haven't told Finn yet."

Sasha's face softened at her friends words. This is what she was yelling about? Keeping secrets for something that wasn't even a big deal, and that Finn was already informed about their storyline together, she didn't really understand why she chose not to tell him.

"And why is that a big deal?" Bayley asked her, which made Sasha's softened brown eyes look over at her other friend.

It was like she knew what was going through her mind just about now, but she was too caught up in the gears turning in her head to ask.

"Because it is.." Logan shook her head, not knowing if she should really tell her friends what was going to go down after Finn's promo, which was happening soon. "You'll just have to wait and see, I don't wanna talk about it."

Sasha nodded off, processing what she was given. She had riled herself up for nothing, well, not nothing but that's not what she thought Logan would tell her.

"Well good luck on the Promo, I'm going to go get changed." Bayley cut into the silence that filled them. "You coming?" She then turned to Sasha, who's eyes flickered over to hers.

Logan watched as the two friends began walking towards the Women's Locker Room, and now, Logan had a moment to breathe.

She looked down at her phone, surfing through her Social Media accounts while Toni finished touching her up.

"And you are good as new." Toni's words trailed along her tongue as she finished applying a bit more highlighter to her Cupid's bow after touching up her Lipstick.

Logan smiled with appreciation. "Thank you again, Toni." She said, grabbing the mirror that was offered to her and then fluffing her hair up a bit.

Logan got up from the seat, deciding it was time to start walking off to the gorilla, knowing that it was just minutes away from Bray Wyatt picking up the win in his match. Her eyes flickered up, connecting with a pair of chocolate brown ones that stared her down from afar.

Logan's breath got caught in her throat at the sight of Seth, and her lips parted to stick her tongue out to wet her lips a bit. She blinked a few times, and Seth didn't try to hide the fact that his eyes were wondering around her figure.

She torn her eyes away from the man who she used to call her best friend, turning around, she started walking towards the gorilla. She knew that it was only a matter of time before they both stood at the curtain, waiting to perform their promo.

"Logan!" She heard his voice call her, his footfalls falling in behind her as she turned the corner. She immediately picked up the pace at the sight of the black curtain that separated the backstage and the ring.

"Logan, wait!" He called again, and almost grabbed hold of her arm but she stepped to the side, looking up at the monitor.

His eyes traveled up to the motion screen, showing that Finn Bálor was currently doing his promo, and that they would be performing next.

"Logan.."

"Let's just get this over with, Seth." Her brown eyes were burning with a fiery hatred, something that he wasn't used too. "We don't need to make small talk." She shook her head and grabbed her script from the Stage manager, and overlooking her lines.

Seth blinked back a couple times, a sinking feeling erupting in his chest. "Alright." He whispered softly, taking his script and overlooking.

Commercial break had finally ended, and Seth Rollins was making his way down towards the ring while Logan watched from backstage, a glare in her eyes and a sneer on her lips.

Her arms were crossed tightly over her chest when Sasha came up from behind her. Her eyes flickered up to the screen, and Logan paid her no attention. She leaned forward, listening intently as Seth began talking.

"I'm not out here to boast about my victory tonight,"  Seth told the universe, an angry look in his eye was present and his stiff body language told everyone that he was serious. "I'm here to call out the one who calls herself The Queen."

Logan's ears were filled with cheers that erupted throughout the arena at the mention of her name. Logan chewed on her bottom lip as Sasha's eyes were now on her figure, watching her as she adjusted her championship on her shoulder.

"Logan, we're getting ready for you." Carl, one of the stage managers called out from the side, passing her a microphone while Seth continued on.

"Now, I know she's here tonight, and she's still in this building." Seth looked towards the stage, the camera zooming into his face. "So, Logan Perris, get your ass out here."

Logan's eyebrows rose as he went slightly off script, a certain hostility hidden in his tone made her realize that he might've gotten personal in this promo. Carl began to dim the lights in the arena, making the arena disappear into darkness.

Sasha turned to look at her as she fixed her hair, "Good luck, out there." She told her, a worried look sparkled in her eye when Logan turned her head to look at her. Logan nodded back at her, releasing a breath that she had been holding in.

Her song now started up in the arena, the speakers filling the silent arena with guitar strums. Logan watched from the monitor as the lights came on the arena, showing that she was absent from the stage, and when Seth turned around with a knowing smile on his face.

She wasn't coming out, and now he looked like a fool.

His back turned towards the stage, Logan started walking through the curtain. The crowd cheered as she came into view, making Seth turn his head and look towards the stage.

Logan narrowed her eyes at the man in the center of the ring as she walked forwards, her heels clicking on the ramp as she carefully made her way down.

Seth watched as she twirled the microphone in her manicured hand. She stopped when she was a foot away from the ropes, looking at him with a glare in her eyes.

He put a smile on his face as she started walking towards the ropes, sitting on the bottom one and opening the top for her to enter the ring as she made her way up the steel steps.

Logan scoffed at the gesture and walked to the other side of the ring, entering through the ropes herself. Seth stuck his tongue towards his cheek as she shifted his head.

"What no thank you?" Seth turned on his heel to face her, she rolled her eyes and looked on into the crowd. "Alright," Seth began nodding his head while his tongue darted out to wet his lips.

"I'm done playing games, We are a lot a like, but there is one big difference, you are the most disrespectful human being that I've ever met."

Logan's eyes darted up towards his face, "Calm down," She held her hand out, "That is not the only difference between you and me." She spoke in the microphone, inching closer towards Seth with a glare on her face. "The difference between you and I, is that I'm up here," She gestured with her hands, "And you're still down here."

"Okay, since we're spitting out truths here, the truth is that you know deep deep down, that you would never have ended up in WWE without me," Seth spoke with a fiery glare in his eyes, spitting out the words. "Everyone knows that If I never held your hand all those years, that you wouldn't be here."

Logan's eyes narrowed dangerously up at him, her jaw tensed at his words as the world around them 'oohed' with his spitted words. "You owe me every inch of respect-"

"I don't owe you anything." Logan interrupted him, "Around here, Seth Rollins, in case you forgot, you got to earn your respect." It was her turn to spit out words with as much venom as she possibly could muster, her eyes were dangerous and her glare could kill you.

"And you've certainly haven't earned mine, so until then, stop demanding things like you're the boss around here." Logan shoved the microphone harshly into his chest, taking him by surprise and he blinked back.

The crowd cheered around the two of them as her song started back up in the arena, and Logan made her way out of the ring while Seth stood still, their backs facing each other.

Logan looked up at the monitor, seeing the camera man zoom up into his expression, his tensed jaw and eyes that were in slits from her words. Her black curls bounced with each step she took, making her way backstage.

A/N;

A short filler chapter. Honestly, I forgot to write this into the last chapter because I suck. lmfao. Next chapter, we will be in No Mercy and then the fun with Seth and Logan's storyline really begins, and Finn will be included soon!

Thank you guys for the support, and the votes you've been giving this story. It truly means the world.
