My Family Is Supernatural!

Madison's POV

It's been about three hours explaining about the crazy supernatural crap going on, my mother: a coyote, my father: a kitsune, Uncle Deuc, Talia, Peter, Derek, Laura, Cora: werewolves. My cousin, though, she was a different story, I cried a little bit when Uncle Deuc told me.

The reason they came here to Beacon Hills was because of a certain woman called Rose, Deuc's wife, Kamden's mum. Apparently, Kamden had changed into a werewolf really young, so Rose took her to the woods to train her, but haft way through training, hunters had surrounded them. Rose desperately tried to save her daughter's life, but the price she payed was multiple wolf's bane bullets to be shot into her. When the hunters left, thinking they had finished their job, Kamden went to her barley alive mother.

There was no way Rose would make it back in time, she knew she was going to die. She couldn't take the pain anymore and asked Kamden to take the pain away, so she did by ending her life. Deuc found them both later on in the day, Rose's lifeless body on the forest floor while Kamden stared straight ahead of her. When Deuc tried to get her to move that is when he noticed her eyes, one blue, one red. Red because she killed an alpha and blue because she killed an innocent person. The two-colour eyes only happen if the person killed the most important person in the world to them, in Kamden case, her mother.

Uncle Deuc also told stories about how they met and some of the dates they have been on. To be honest, I didn't know that my Uncle could be romantic. We also had stories of how Talia and John, her husband who is currently in LA meeting family, met.

Sometimes I hate to say it, but I love romance. It is always so sweet, and I can't help but think if things were different with my last boyfriend, Tom. He was the only person I had fallen in love with, or that is what I told myself I was 16, and he was the only person I had...well...you know...sex. Yep, that's right, I have only fallen in 'love' once and only have sex once. Yeah, my love life is kinda shit.

When we had finished talking about Talia and John, Kamden had woken up.

"Ugh... What happened?" She moaned in pain.

Uncle Deuc was the first to rush over. "Oh Kamden, thank god you're alright!" He said as he scooped her up in his arms tightly.

"Ah, dad, I'm still sore." she hissed.

Deuc quickly, just as quickly as he hugged her, let go of her and apologized.

"Dad, I'm fine see." she said, shutting her dad up, and standing.

Kamden looked around the room seeing the concerned faces, but as soon as she spotted my face she looked shocked.

"Er...hi." she awkwardly waved her hand.

I didn't say anything, I just ran up to her got on my knees and hugged the life out of her.

"Oh...er...hi...again."

"I'm so glad you're okay!"

"Do you know about...er..." She stammered over her sentence.

"Yeah, yeah. I know. I know everything."
