Doolittle, Pennsylvania

Samuel was at the Doolittle Mini Mart, gazing at bags of Doritos, and Cheetos. So many flavors, so little time. "All these flavors look so tempting!" he said. "I can hardly make up my mind." There was nacho cheese, cooler ranch, sweet spicy chili, and spicy nacho, just to name a few. The mini mart clerk was speaking to someone on the phone in Arabic, as he was from Morocco. Samuel still had a hard time, picking out which flavor Doritos he wanted. So many varieties caught his attention.

"Try my apple cinnamon cupcake!" said Alice. "Don't waste your money on those snacks!"

"Really?" scoffed Samuel. "Offering me a cupcake in a mini mart?"

"Just try it!" insisted Alice.

Samuel just shrugged, and tried her cupcake. His eyes opened wide, as he tasted the apple cinnamon goodness, and a smile formed on his face. "How scrumptious this muffin is!" exclaimed Samuel.

"Yay, I knew you'd love it!" beamed Alice, with a wide grin, showing her pearly white teeth.

It was at that moment, that Samuel was caught by how beautiful Alice looked. Her blue dress, with white polka dots, white socks, and blue Keds. Her flashing, blue eyes, just gazing at him, like a mermaid eyeing a fisherman. Her curly, brown hair, and plump, red lips spelled love. Samuel's heart started pounding like a jackhammer. 

"Hubba hubba!" exclaimed Samuel.

"What a handsome fella you are!" giggled Alice. "Come on over to my place! I'm gonna bake some cherry pie!"

"Okay, but hang on!" said Samuel. "Let me see if I can win the Pennsylvania Lottery!"

"Not tonight!" said Alice, reproachfully. "Come along, Samuel!"

"Very well!" sighed Samuel. And, so he walked out of the mini mart, and drove to Alice's house.
