Revised 11.8.18

After cleaning up the mess, Jacob helped me to the bathroom so that I could take a shower. I walk out to find Jacob pacing back and forth.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Uh, I will tell you in a minute. Come sit down and tell me what you meant by you saw your parents die." He says while he guides me to sit on the bed.

I take a seat but he seems to change his mind because he picks me up and takes a seat with me on his lap. I look back and ask, "How am I suppose to talk to you while I sit like this, Jake?"

"I almost lost you, my love. I need you close to me." He whispers into my ear and plants a kiss on my cheek.

"Okay but I can't talk like this." So I turn myself around and straddle him. I recount the details of my dream to the best of my abilities. When I finish, he looks away and stays silent. Unshed tears fill his eyes as I wait for him to speak.

"What did you say the color of the wolves were?" He asks.

"The bigger wolf was a midnight black and the smaller one was a beautiful white color. I remember the black one had gold colored eyes. Why?"

"You saw my parents and if those were your parents in the dream then that means your parents died trying to save my parents. The elders in the pack told me how they died and It's very similar to what you just told me. No one had ever told you how my parents died right?"

"No. Who would tell me anyways? I just found out you were a werewolf a little over a week ago. So, can you tell me what's going on now?"

Now it's his turn to tell me everything about the healer and Tim.. also how he's Scarlett's mate. She was so upset at seeing him literally dying before her eyes that her wolf took over and bit him. Jacob believes that her wolf was trying to save him by trying to turn him. If he stays alive and his wounds begin to heal then it means it worked.

I was shocked afterwards he explained that we should leave because we don't know if more vampires will come looking for me.

"We'll leave tonight to go to my cabin in the mountains. It's secluded and no one should find us there. Derrick, we must have our strongest warriors on guard to stop any threat to our pack and the fairies. No harm must come to them. Also, you will be coming with us. Let Eric, Tyler and Scarlett know they will be coming with us. Give me status on Tim as well."

"Yea, yea, yea. I'm on it, boss. No worries. And you." Derrick says pointing to me. "You had me freaking out. Don't do it again, I can't lose one of my dearest and prettiest friends." He says, earning a growl from Jake, but causing me to chuckle.

"Thank you, Derrick. I love you." I say back. I yelp when I feel myself being lifted into the air.

"My love, you like him and tolerate him but you don't love him." Jake says jokingly. He turns to Derrick giving him a serious look.

"Okay....okay.....one last thing. I love you too baby." He says as he rushes out the door and I hear his laughter echoing down the hall.

"You know I love him like a brother right?" I raise my eyebrow in question.

"Yes but my wolf doesn't like when you say that you love another man. I trust him. Now, enough talking about him. I missed hearing your voice, your smile, and your lips...." He leans in and kisses me gently as he lays us on the bed.

The kiss is soft and begins to warming my heart. He moves from my mouth to my cheek then to my neck to gently nip at the sensitive spot by my ear. I feel his hot breath on the nape of my neck and I feel myself come alive.

His hands run down my thigh to my waist, his fingers going under the hem of my shirt. His hands run over my sensitive skin on my stomach which causes a slight moan escape my mouth.

"Boss!! Tim's awake. Oh, before you say go away or handle it, there's something you should know. He's wolf!" Derrick yells through the door.

"What?!!!!" Jacob and I scream out at the same time.
