Veer's p.o.v

The party was actually shifted to my house the next day.

We didn't have much plans

We hired a party planner.

I was greeting the guests in the backyard.

All of my family members were here along with our business partners

My eyes for looking for someone

My whole world stopped when I saw her.

She was looking very very beautiful

When she saw me she smiled. I looked at her and smiled

"Wow....!"I spoke as she came towards me

"You look very very beautiful.....Meera......!"I told her and she blushed

"Thanks....!"She said and looked down

And the rest of the evening went down with Meera spending her time with our business partner's wives and their kids.

"Seems like you are getting well with Meera!"My dad said

"I have too don't I?!"I told him coldly

Me and my dad never shared a good relation

He thinks I'm waste for this society.

"I hope you're treating Meera well veer!"He said

I remained silent.

"She is at no fault for any of this veer!Don't hurt her....!"My dad said

"Have a good evening dad!"I told him and left.

He started everything.......

It was around 12:30 in the night when everyone left home.

I took my coat off and when I was about to go into my room I stopped.

I stopped at Meera's room.

I opened the door slightly to see her.

She was sleeping peacefully.

She was so tired and I knew that.

I slowly pushed it back and went inside.

I sat on the bed next to her.

I touched her soft hair and pushed it a bit back which was falling on her face.

My hand slowly moved to her cheek.

I caressed it and smiled looking at her.

I shoved all of my thoughts down when I remembered something

I can't do this......

I quickly stood up , going towards the door I closed it and decided to head back into my room.

Meera is an amazing girl and she doesn't deserve me!

Next day I was packing my stuff for my business trip.

I packed my bag and grabbed my essentials and went downstairs.

"Hey....!"I told keeping my bag on the chair when I saw Meera come out of the kitchen

"Have a safe journey veer!And good luck with the meeting!"She said

"Thanks!Are you sure you will be okay alone?!"He asked me

"Yes I will be fine veer.......!"She said

I checked my watch.

My flight is in two hours. I should get going now.

"I will see you soon!"I told her and she nodded.

with this I left home and headed to the airport.

Two days later

I was done with my meeting today.

After completing it I headed downstairs.

I was waiting for my cab to come. I took my phone out to call Meera and tell her we got the contract.

I dropped my phone down when my whole world stopped.

I can't believe what I was seeing now.

Meera's p.o.v

It was two days since veer left.

I do miss him. Veer's mom came over to stay with me. She's one of my most favorite person's.

She has taken care of me as her own daughter since childhood.

It was about to call veer when he called me

What a timing!

"Hey...!I was just planning to call you....!"I said with a smile.

I don't know why but I had a feeling that something was wrong

Veer wasn't talking

"Veer?Are you okay...?!"I asked in concerned.

"Can you come here....?!"He asked me slowly
