Meera's p.o.v

After the school ended I was about to leave when shiv came in.

"So any plans in for tonight?!"He asked me

"Yeah I have a dinner plan....!"I said packing my things

"With you're husband I assume.....!"Shiv said

"Yes....!"I said with a small smile.

"Have a great time!"Shiv said and I smiled

"Thanks shiv...!"I said

I was about to leave but stopped when the phone in my class rang.

I went over to my desk and picked it up.

"Hi!Who is this?!"I asked with a smile

"Hey Meera,it's me Emma. There is this guy here waiting for you.....!"she said and stopped when that guy spoke.

What was her doing here?

"It's Veer!"I could hear veer's voice.

"Veer......!"I said slowly

"Um....can you come down Meera....?!"Emma asked me

"Yes yes I'll be there in a minute.....!"I said ending the call.

I grabbed my jacket my bag and was Turing off the lights

"What's the rush?!"Shiv asked as we came out of my room.

"My husband is here. I have to go!"I said locking my room.

"Oh....!"Shiv said

"I'll see you later....!"I said going walking out of the 7th grade hallway.

"Yeah have a great time!Bye!"Shiv said

"Thanks!"I said heading down by the stairs.

I rushed into the reception and saw veer looking around.

"Why did you pick you're phone...?!"Was all he asked as he saw me.

Emma was sitting in her chair when she looked up

"I um.....!"I started but was stopped by veer

"I what Meera?!"He shot

I looked at Emma. Veer followed my gaze and found Emma looking at me

She looked at both of us and stood up

"I um....gonna....go talk to shiv.....!"She said making her exit quickly

"Veer my phone died. I forgot to bring the charger...!"I said and he looked at me

"I was just worried....!"he said

"Since you don't have you're car yet I decided to take you home....!"he said

Really?

"Oh okay....!"I said normally

"Let's go then?!"He asked me

"Yeah sure....!"I said and he opened the door for me.

I went and he followed me

"Let's go home and get ready quick. I made a reservation so we shouldn't be late....!"he said as we got into the car.

"you don't take too many hours to get ready do you?!"He asked as he started the car

"Definitely not!I am not one those heavy makeup girls!"I claimed

Which I am clearly not for 1000 times

We both remained silent as he drove

After some time we reached home. I charged my phone as I went into the room.

I picked out a very simple outfit and went into the shower.

Soon I was ready. I looked at the Mirror once to check that I wasn't too overdressed.

I grabbed my purse and phone and left my room.

I walked downstairs to see veer standing near the fridge.

He was looking amazing!

He was in a simple casual outfit.

"I hope I'm not too over ready.....!"I said as he just stared at me when he saw me

"You're clearly not. You remind me of the Meera I still remember during college.....!"he said and smiled a bit

This was the first time he smiled while he talked to me in months.

I just smiled.

"Shall we go...?!"He asked me and I nodded.

As we headed towards his car locking the door my phone beeped.

it was from my sister

I then closed my phone and sat in the car.

Arun's p.o.v

I sat with Prachi in the sofa.

He sat infront of me as her head was laying on my chest and I wrapped my hands around her.

She was chatting with someone on her phone

"Who is it??"I asked kissing her forehead

"It's Meera. Veer is taking her out for dinner!"She said

"Wow,Are those two finally moving on after two months.....!"I said with a smile

"I guess they are....!"Prachi said looking at me.

"What are you thinking about?!"I asked her directly

"What?!"She said

"I know Prachi. I know you're hiding something from me. What is it?!"I asked

"It's nothing Arun. I just miss you. I miss us being like this. You work so hard for us and here I am doing nothing.....!"she said

"Hey I'm not stopping you from working but look I have got this. You don't need to worry about us love!Plus I'm sorry because I had a lot of work but I promise you I will spend more time with you after I finish the current project!But remember you will always be my first priority....!"I said and she smiled.

"I know that.....!"She said and I hugged her tightly.

Meera's p.o.v

Me and veer reached the restaurant couple of minutes ago.

We sat at our table and looked over the menu

"What do you want to eat meera?!"He asked me

"Anything,what's the best one here....?!"I asked

Veer went on with the list while I just listened to him

After deciding for some time we decided to give the order.

Veer called the waiter and gave him the orders.

"So Meera.....!"he started and I looked at him but he stopped when his phone rang.

He looked at it and sighed

"I'm very sorry but I kinda of gotta take this. I'll be back in five minutes....!"he said looking at me

"of course. No problem....!"I said and he stood up

"sorry.....!"he said once again before he went out.

I sat there looking around.

What caught my attention was two people entering into the restaurant.

it was shiv and some random blonde girl

he saw me and I waved at him with a small smile but he ignored me

He went directly to the bar area with the girl

what's wrong with him?

I could see who was outside talking over on the phone
