And I come bearing a contest entry!!!
This is for the wonderful awesome amazing go-follow-her-and-love-her-and-her-art SpiderPrincess
For this contest the main goal was to dress up your OC and I have to say I did quite horribly haha
I didn't even put her full body in cuz the pose I thought up was just too "perfect" for my idea of sophistication or smth.
But hey I really tried to do my best ish

So first things first I have a kinda 'ref sheet' for this (my only) OC, so I think that's best to show first. The lil fish fins have been since then removed but might be placed back who knows no one knows...

I have more assorted sketches of her but you probably would rather not see..
But here's the 'remodel'!! I'll explain all the changes...

Lighting (not) on point, as usual!! Coming from the first picture it looks a lot better tho..
So the changer I made-
Clothes- I made her dressed differently, in what I thought would be more sophisticated dress. That word is popping up a lot here for someone who is the exact opposite...
This is what the full outfit would have looked like as I had it in a concept sketch:

All of my photos are in different lighting ;;;;
Face- I also changed up the face, but the main difference was giving her some pretty wings and lips. I just tried to draw makeup haha
Hair- The hair was kinda like a "but hey I'm still a lil child and you can't change that" thing because I have decided space buns is my favorite ever hairs style and nothing will stop me from drawing them all the time. She has the messy prices of hair that hang down rlly far tied up tho and only left some little strands out to tone it down a little. For sophistication...
Accessories- Now she has a pretty gold earring and that's it OwO

I'm pretty proud of the coloring on her and the pose, overall I think it was a great success!
Now speaking of success let's take a look at some examples of the opposite :DDD
Mainly two pieces of vent art and an attempt at realism that should all be burned into ashes and then burnt again... aha ha

I 50% wanted to practice emotions and 50% wanted to let out my sandness here ^^ YAYY~~
The neck is so thin it looks like some painful things have happened to it... maybe that's why she's crying..?

Best thing on the page ^^ but probably bc I avoided all the things I didn't want to draw here

Plus some fabric practice that I think came out decent and yayyy that's all!!!
