I think the Pentatonix fanfiction awards could be made into something better rather than having everyone compete against each other. If it were "best plot twist" and everyone wrote down the book they liked and each individual person got recognized for their book it'd be better than pitting the books against each other and deeming one better than the rest. The thing about this fandom is that you can find so many books that are different from each other and showcasing them all is a great way to promote authors and their works instead of only promoting on book. And it takes on a more positive approach and won't make people feel bad if their fanfic isn't voted the best.
