First of all thank you so much for your support in this. It actually means so much to me because writing on Wattpad gives me freedom from my daily life, and let's me express myself in my work. Even if it's through imaginary characters! Thank you all <3

Madara tried to control his discomfort as he faced the man in front of him. They both sat at his living room table, bodies unmoving, eyes calculating.

If Atsushi was any other clan member Madara would have punished him by now for staring at him with such examination. But he had to respect the man, if he wished for any of this to go smoothly.

Atsushi closed his eyes briefly, satisfied with his intense inspection of the so called Isamu that was for so long what he knew of.

He could never have fathomed that it was truly Madara Uchiha that his daughter Tomomi had been seeing all these years. That he had been lied to for so long, tricked. He felt a boost of confidence as he was allowed to check over the man, at this moment he held a lot over him.

"You're fond of my daughter, aren't you," Atsushi started, watching Madara's every move.

Madara felt an unnatural pace of his heart jump in his throat.

"Tomomi is my closest friend." He simply answered, holding Atsushi's gaze. His nerves twitched with the impulse at trapping him in a genjutsu. But he had to do this properly.

Atsushi nodded in thought, rubbing his lips together tightly.

"You would take care of her, treat her with respect for as long as you both may live?" Madara was surprised by his words, he opened his mouth slightly but no noise came out, it was trapped inside his throat.

"I am not willing to let my last living daughter wed you unless you promise me this, Lord Madara." Atsushi leaned closer to him, his eyes holding attention, a silent pleading. Madara did not often feel so nervous, but Atsushi was starting to crawl under his skin.

"What is your wish?" Madara muttered quietly, his palms sweating. Atsushi paused, Madara didn't dare blink. He was paranoid Atsushi could hear his heart in the silence.

"You build a peaceful village, unite the clans, and then you may marry her," Atsushi ordered.

Silence hung afterward in the air.

Madara frowned, "those are your only conditions?" He was confused. "Why?"

Atsushi then smiled lightly. "I want my daughter to start her new life in a time of peace and understanding. I want her to be safe." His voice faded to just a whisper.

Madara nodded in understanding then. His earlier anxiety had lessened at Atsushi's explanation. He was worried how he viewed him before. Despite him being clan leader, there were not many other reasons for Atsushi to agree to let Tomomi marry him, for her was not Atsushi's choice. Madara then began to be curious.

"Who did you intend for Tomomi to marry?" Atsushi seemed to flinch at the question. He looked sorrowful.

"Before...everything happened...I had a great plan to marry my daughters off to your family."

"My family?" Madara's voice deepened. Atsushi nodded.

"Tomomi would marry Izuna, and Tomoko would...she would marry you Lord Madara."

At that Madara's eyes widened profusely. Tomomi marry Izuna? They weren't that fond of each other at all, ever since they were younger. And myself and Tomoko? Surely that would never have worked.

"I am sorry if this causes you distress." Atsushi bowed his head.

"No it does not...I am only curious as to how you thought you would be able to get away with that. After all you cannot force any of us to do anything." Madara didn't mean his words to sound completely threatening or mocking, but he felt a sharp edge in his voice hit Atsushi.

Atsushi only chuckled in response, seemingly amused. "That is extremely true Lord Madara, I believed I held more power than I really did." His amused nature vanished suddenly. "I now realise that I have no power at all."

Tomomi

Nervous is an understatement the feeling I felt after I had left Madara and my father. There was an unspoken tension that surrounded them, it was suffocating. I was aware my father would speak to Madara soon, but I was not prepared for him to announce himself with me present. Or straight after all that was said to the clan.

I decided to walk throughout the clan village, hoping the distraction of other people would drown out my thoughts. I would miss the clan village when the new village is formed, it was quite beautiful.

The dirt streets where lined with small huts and buildings, round paper lanterns lining the walls. Wherever there wasn't a building trees stood, surrounded by vibrant flowers and grass. I hoped the new village could be just as beautiful.

"It's good to see you again young one," I turned around to see Aunt Hana with a basket of grain by the sidewalk. I smiled lightly.

"You too Aunt Hana."

I watched as she began to throw a handful of the grain onto the dirt. She then started talking once again.

"There's been much great news today, why aren't you enjoying it my child?" Wasn't enjoying it would be an understatement. I sighed.

"I am concerned about my father."

Hana beckoned me with her hand and we made out way over to the side of the path where a small bench sat. She let out a wheeze as she sat, I could hear her body creaking.

"Is this because of our dear Lord Madara, eh?" She gave me a knowing smile and peered up at me through her lashes. I believed I may have started blushing, I covered my cheeks.

"I don't know if he will agree to our marriage." I complained defeated, bowing my head, it was eating me away. Hana did not seem surprised.

"He will agree," she chuckled as she declared.

I wearily look around behind us, watching as people walked by, many caught my eye and bowed their head to me. My lips tried to strain a smile back at them.

"But he couldn't also." I emphasised, turning back to her and holding up my finger. She sat her basket in her lap and gazed at me with encouragement.

"Dear child, you cannot control everything in this world, if it is meant to be your father will not prevent it from happening."

Hana's words seemed to resonate within me. I couldn't control my fathers decisions, which not only scared me, but made me feel a sense of faith to reply on.

"Thank you Aunt Hana, I need to have more faith in the power of destiny."

"It's not destiny child, its the power of choice." Her warm smile met her eyes brilliantly as she lamented. For a split moment, Tomoko appeared before me, the same dazzling grin on her face.

She made a choice that day...to save me.

My heart began to ache.

It was her choice alone.

I felt a tiny smile creep onto my face. "I hope then that all the choices made from here on are the most heartfelt and meaningful."

Aunt Hana nodded her head. She motioned with her hand to the side of us where many little chickens walked about, pecking at the food she had earlier spread.

"All of our choices," she informed, "have an affect." She held my gaze softly as she continued. "Nothing we do in this world is meaningless dear child." I held her gaze distantly, letting her words flow through my entire being. I felt cold, but there was no wind.

If only I hadn't ran away that day.

That was the only thought invading my mind.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HANUKKAH/CHANUKAH

Hi I would also like to just talk about an idea I've come up with.

For a LONNNNGGG time I've been wanting to write a proper fantasy book, but have never stuck with a plot line or tried writing one with more than a chapter, so I've been thinking of starting one now.

Would anyone find it cool if I were to write one?

It would be complete original content, meaning no fanfiction or anything. Just wondering how many out there read those kinds of books :) it would be full of action, romance, magic, advernture AND hopefully a comprehensive fantasy world!

ALSO because I am a ametuer/hobby artist, I will be drawing my own characters and things for the story! Cause its nearly impossible to get my hands on anything remotely similar to what I'm imagining!!! :)

That won't be for a while though since I still have to finish this story AND actually write some of the new book! :) MORE INFORMATION ON IT SOON!!

Anyways, see you next time! Hope you enjoyed this chapter!
