"Izuna Nii". Ryuko whimpered as she laid in my arms. I had her wrapped up in a blanket as I got ready to head out and look for Madara and Hashirama. "Everythings going to be ok Ryu, we're going to see aniki". I said softly.

"Izuna sama". Inu called out to me from the doorway. "Yes Inu"? I asked turning to her. "I wanna come with. I don't wanna be away from Ryuko". "I know the two of you are extremely close Inu but it's too dangerous.

I can sense the spider family near". "That's even more of a reason for me to go. You can't hold Ryuko and fight at the same time, at least with me there I can help keep her safe, please". "I I want her to come nii san". Ryuko said panting. I felt her forehead and could tell her fever was getting worse.

"Ok but we have to hurry, Tobi you come with as well, I don't want Inuama fighting them. Rin your in charge until we get back".

Madara

"That bump you gave me hurts like hell you know". Inosuke said. "It's your own fault for fighting against someone that wasn't even trying to defend themselves". "Yeah, you beat the crap out of me for no reason. Where's my apology? You sorry"? "Not really".

"Just apologize"! Zenitsu yelled. "Forget it". "You could at least pretend to be nice to him". "Look Inosuke we just won't eat with you if you continue to act this way". "Huh? How's that related"? "Because meals always taste better when you eat together you know".

"He's right, when they were alive I always enjoyed eating dinner with my family". "Did the two of you hit your heads or something"? "Like your one to talk"! "Do you need any assistance in there"? The old lady asked.

"Ah! The monster"! "Stop that"! I let out a sigh. "According to what my crow told me, this house with the Wisteria family crest belongs to a family that was once saved by demon slayers. That's the reason their housing us free of charge here.

Still, I didn't think they'd show us this much kindness". "Pays to be with the demon slayer core huh"? "Speaking of which, what made you decide to join"? "Huh"? "You mustive had some kind of reason". "A member of the demon slayer core barged in on me on my mountain.

We competed to see who was stronger and I took his sword as a reward. Then I heard of this thing called final selection and the fact that demons do exist". "So that's what drew you to the demon slayer core, not to mention that we both grew up in the mountains".

"Don't lump me in with you. There's only one thing that gives me comfort in this world and that's fighting against others". "How disappointing". "Hey Madara, there's something I've been meaning to ask you". Zenitsu said as he sat up.

"Your traveling with a demon, what's that about"? "You knew and you didn't say anything. Despite the fact your annoying your also a kind person. You could've turned me in or attacked him but you didn't". "Was that supposed to be a compliment".

"It's the closet to one you're going to get from him". Hashi said as he came out of his box and made his way over to me. "Zenitsu, Inosuke, this is Hashirama Senju my fiancee. The two of us lived on the same mountain but on different sides.

Both our families were extremely close with each other but we ended up losing them to a demon attack. Muzan Kibitsuji attacked our family and turned him into a demon. I became a demon slayer to try and find a way to turn him back".

"Why didn't you tell me you were dating someone so cute"!? "Let's get a few things settled here. One, we're not dating, we're engaged. Two, even if we weren't you wouldn't stand a chance with me. I could hear you harrasing that young woman and it made me sick.

No one should ever treat a woman like that ever. I'll be surprised if anyone decides to date you let alone marry you. If my little sister would've had the change to grow up and date I would never let you anywhere near her. You want to be in a relationship for all the wrong reasons. I can't stand men like you.

And as for you". He said turning to Inosuke. "You're just as bad as he is. Your nothing but a mindless brut. There's more to life then fighting. You can't use the excuse that you lived on a mountain your whole life. The two of us did as well but you don't see us acting uncivilized". "That's enough hashi, you've said your peace".

"Always live your lives in a fashion were your able to hold your heads up high". The old lady said as the three of us got ready to head to our next mission. I wish you luck in battle". She said bowing. "Thank you for everything you've done". I said as we turned and left.

"Everyone, we need to pause here". Zenitsu said as the three of us neared our destination. We traveled all day and now it was nighttime. "What's wrong this time"? "I'm nervous ok"! He said crying as he sat on the ground holding his knees. "Pathetic". Hashi said as he stood next to me.

He didn't feel like traveling in the box at nighttime anymore since the two of them knew the truth. "Why the hell is he sitting like that? It's pretty weird if you ask me". "Who are you to talk about weird!? You can't tell me you're not getting any spooky vibes from that mountain"!?

"We were assigned a job to do so we have to do it, end of story". "I told you this guys an odd duck". "I am not an odd duck! I'm completely normal! It's you guys who are the strange ones"! I smelled blood all of a sudden. "Madara"?

I ignored him and took off in the direction it led me. I was surprised to find a demon slayer on the ground injured. "Help me, please help me". "He's on of us. Are you alright"? I asked as I made my way over to him but before I had time to access his injuries he was pulled into the forest.

"They were attached to me too, please don't let me die here"! Were the words he yelled out to us before he disappeared completely. "I'm going in". "I'll head in first, you stay behind me trembling like a scared little animal. This is making me hungry". "Inosuke". "Why is he such a show off"? Zenitsu asked trembling.

We walked through the forest for a bit until we came across a bunch of spider webs. Hashirama had gotten back into his box in case we ran into more demon slayers. "A spider web". "This place is full of them". "Yeah your right". "What a pain"! I noticed another demon slayer and made way over to him.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and he turned around looking at me scared. "I'm Madara Uchiha, I came to help". "They shouldve sent in a hashira, regular demon slayers won't be enough". Inosuke punched him in the face".

"The only thing I see that wont be enough is a sputtering bowl of sweat in front of me! Now how about you tell us what is going on here"? He said through gritted teeth. "Who do you think you're talking to?

I'm ranked higher then you both. That crow gave us orderes to come to this place. Ten of us core members gathered here but not long after we entered the mountain that's when it started. The slayers began killing each other".

All of a sudden a rattling sound could be heard from where we were. "What's that"? "Not again. I've heard this sound before. It's the sound I heard before everyone started to kill each other". "Where's it coming from"?

We turned our heads and saw as demon slayers appeared in front of us. None of them said anything, all they did was start attacking us. We were able to dodge their attacks but to me it looked like they were being controlled.

"These guys moorons are something? Don't they know it's taboo for us to fight each other"? "Your one to talk! That's not it though. They're acting like their being manipulated". "Here we go. I'm gonna cut them to pieces"!

"You can't do that, their alive. At least I believe some are, besides the bodies of the ones who aren't are still our teammates". "Listen you, stop denying me at every turn"! He lunged at me but I moved out of the way making him headbutt the nearest tree.

I then went to help protect the demon slayer from earlier who was being attacked. I swung my sword and noticed I had ended up cutting spider webs that we're attached to his back. "They're being controlled by threads, cut them off". Inosuke did just that. "I already knew about that before you caught on".

Where's the demon that was controlling them?

I looked around then noticed small spiders crawling on me. I felt my arm being pulled and quickly cut off the threads that had been connected to me.

So the spiders are just attaching people to the puppet strings.

"Cutting the threads isn't enough. The spiders will just replace them. So we-". I was interrupted by a horrible smell. I couldn't tell what it was but I could tell that it was far away. I looked down and jumped up as I saw the spiders crawling towards me again.

"So all we gotta do us eliminate those dam insects". "Not possible, they're too small and must have at least a million of them. We gotta find the demon that's controlling them instead". "Gotcha". He started stabbed the spiders that was around us.

"It's no use. If you have some kind of ability that can locate the demons location that would really help. This disgusting smell keeps blowing in the wind and I can't tell where it's from. You there, what's your name"? "Murata".

"Murata, the two of us will take care of the people being controlled, in the meantime-". I was about to say something but was interrupted by a demon kid standing on top of a spider web string. "I will not let you interfere with my family's peaceful life".

"Mother will be sure to make quick work of all of you". "Who's his mother"?
