It's been almost a year, and Alina Fairgrieves still hasn't recovered from the event that claimed both her father and her best friend's life last November. Everywhere she goes, Brandon and Eleven seem to follow her, and she feels like she's slowly going insane with all the nightmares she's having. Adapting to living with the Byers doesn't help, either, especially with Joyce's new boyfriend, Bob, added to the mix. 

But when Will suddenly gets sick, and Alina starts seeing visions into a familiar world, she fears that history might be repeating itself, especially with the voice in her head that might not even be hers. 

 And when you add in two new kids who know too much for their own good, an otherworldly pet, potential heartbreak, and a racist asshole that seems to have it out for her friends, everything is definitely set to go wrong.
