Aaaah I'm so tiiiired!! You thought as you collapse on your bed .
You just want to sleep on your soft bed , but Chase came in your room with a smile .

"Master , are you hungry?". Chase asked .
"You don't need to ask Chase ". You replied to him with a smile .
"Okay master , I'll cook you some food , what do you want to eat master ?". Chase asked you.

"Hmm how about ..(food of choice )?". You said . Chase nods his head and left the room to cook you some food.
You yawned because you were tired and try to relax your body by removing your shoes .

(Next morning )
You wake up lying on your bed still in your casual clothes .
Did I fall asleep? You thought as you sit up .
You stand up and went downstairs to see your cousin lying on the couch watching tv.

"G-morning ". He said without looking at you.
"Yeah you too". You replied as you head to the kitchen .
"Morning master~!". Chase greeted you cheerfully as he wag his tail.
"Watcha cooking ?". You said as you approach him.
"Some maple syrup pancakes ". Chase said.

You sat down on the chair as Chase serves you the pancakes .
"Did I fall asleep last night Chase?". You asked him.
"Huh? Oh yes master ". Chase replied .
"What about my food?". You said .

"Oh your friend Ashley came to get her book , I didn't want to make the food go to waste so she ate it ". Chase said .
"What?!".

You stand up and fall on your knees .
*dramatic scene * 😂😂😂

(That's what happened to me yesterday 😭 my takeout from McDonalds!!!.... RIP McDonald chicken ).

"Don't worry master , I'll cook you another one ". Chase smiled at you.
"Yaaaz!". You said moving your hand.
"Hehehe , are you going out today master?": chase asked .
"Yeah..I'm going..to a book store , I'm going to buy that book I want ". You said .

"Oh what book master?".
"It's (title of the book ) ". You said .
"We'll be careful master , I can come with you if you want ". Chase said .
"I'm good , goodbye ". You said as you headed upstairs to take a bath and change.

Here you are in a book store looking for that book you wanted to buy. You saw a worker fixing the bookshelf , maybe I can ask her if that book is available ? You thought as you tap her shoulder .

"Yes ma'am ?".
"I'm looking for a book called (name of book)". You said .
"Oh that? It's over there madam". She said as she pointed to the right .
"Thanks ". You headed where she pointed and find the book.
"Oh here it is ". You said as you get the book.

You turn around and bump into someone causing the book you were holding dropped on the floor .

"Hey ...you drop your f*cking book".

What did he just said ? You pick up your book and look at the guy. The guy has tanned skin, dark reddish hair and golden yellow eyes , he has an eyepatch at the side of his eye .

"I saw that". You said as you roll your eyes at him.
"Oh you did? I thought you were deaf". The red haired guy said .
"I thought you were blind because you didn't saw where you were going ". You replied .

He gave you a chuckle .
"I like your attitude , the names Cleo".

After he said that he left without your reply .
You shrug it off and just headed to the counter to pay for the book.

Funny thing is ...you don't know where Jay 's house is .
You sigh deeply and just stop by an ice cream shop.
"Welcome ma'am , what would you like?". The waitress asked .
"Some (flavor of ice cream ) please". You said . The lady gave you the ice cream and you payed for it .

That's when you saw Ashley sitting on a chair while using her phone .
"Hey". You said to her .
"Yoooo!": she said with a grin . You said sat down beside her . Ashley stares at you.
"What?". You said .
"Sooo~ tell me the problem?". She said .

"How did you know I have a problem?". You said .
"I'm your bestfriend! And I notice sometimes when you have a problem you eat ice cream ". She said .
"....".

"Was it because I ate your food?". She said . You look at her with a glare .
"You should be glad I didn't kill you yet ". You said .

"Sorry! I couldn't resist! Anyway what's wrong?". Ashley said .
" I was going to visit a...freind's house..but I didn't know where he lives". You said as you eat your ice cream.
"And who's this friend?". Ashley said with a wide smirk.

" Um...Jay Crovus ". You said . Ashley smirks at you.
"That guy...hehe I know where he lives". Ashley replied .
"Huh? How?". You asked .
"No need to ask~". Ashley said .

You stare at her , trying to force it out of her .
"Fine! I followed him home! Happy now?". Ashley said .
"Why would you follow him home!?". You said .
"He's hot!!!". Ashley replied .

(Jay's house )
"We're heeeeere~". Ashley said as she stop at a normal house .
"Are you sure this is his house?". You asked .
"Yaaah". Ashley said . Weird..I was he live in a mansion like Luciel , you thought.

You knock on the door. The door opens , standing on the doorway is a guy with dark hair .
"Can I help you?". The guy asked .
"Is..um..Jay home?". You asked .

"What's your business miss?". The guy said .
"I need to talk to him about something". You said . The guy hesitates for a moment then later he opened the door wide open for the two of you to get in.
"He's in that room". The guy pointed .

"You can stay here Ashley ". You said as you left .
"Ooookay~...so..what's your name?". Ashley asked the guy.
The guy quickly changed into a crow and flew away.
"Oh come on !". Ashley yelled .

You open the door and saw Jay who is busy painting . He turn his head and look at you.

"Oh if it isn't Luciel's little maid ". Jay said with a smirk.
"Hey".
"What brings you here ?". Jay said as he continued painting .
"I..I need to ask you about something..about Luciel's sister". You asked him.
Jay stop painting and looks at you.
"Ophelia C. Ford , about her death huh?". Jay said .
