It was nearly nightfall by the time we all returned to the bus, so all of us were tired and hungry from working all day in the sun.

"What is there to even eat around here?" Awsten yawned for the fourth time in the last ten minutes.

"Um..." I paused looking through the refrigerator. "A small container of raspberries, barbecue sauce, and a bag of lays chips here."

"What kind of Lays?" Otto asked laying in his bunk half on the floor of the bus.

"Sour cream." I respond with a questioning tone.

"Hand them chips over Leah." Otto falsely threatened me with a pair of over ear headphones.

"I want the raspberries please." Awsten said from his spot on the floor by the kitchen table.

I handed them each their food items and Geoff sighed slightly.

"I guess I'll take the tomatoes." Geoff  shrugged with a yawn.

"How 'bout I just go get us all some food?" I suggested due to our tired demeanors.

Geoff nodded in thanks, though his exhaustion wouldn't show how he really felt.

"Yes please." Awsten groaned from the floor of the bus.

"Please!" Otto agreed with a sigh.

"What do y'all want?" I queried grabbing the pad and pen from the counter.

"Chicken!" Otto interjected.

"Cheeseburger." Geoff added quieter than Otto, but still making noise.

"I just want some fruit, and if it's possible some coffee." Awsten groaned with a few raspberries in his mouth, which made me crack up.

"Got it guys, I'll be back soon. In the mean time rest up." I insist as i pick up my purple drawstring bag from the couch. I started towards the bus door purposefully, and hopped out into the brisk night air. While making my way to catering I saw so many people I knew and didn't know. On the way I grabbed a few things such as chips and candy plus a few drinks for they guys and me later.

"Fried chicken, a cheeseburger, two fruit salads, and two coffees please." I ordered from the main banquet table in front of me.

"You're with Waterparks right?" The woman asks me while preparing our food.

"Mhm, that'd be me." I responded cheerily.

"Tell Awsten I hope he sounds better tomorrow, because his voice has been sounding rough." She states blatantly while putting plates together.

"Oh, uh okay." I nodded with a slight awkward tone.

"Here's the chicken, fruit and burger, just waiting for the coffee." The worker states handing me two plates and two bowls.

"Okay, thank you." I respond respectfully.

"Here you go miss, have a great night." She handed me the cups in a carrier.

I balanced the stack as I made my way back to the bus, making sure not to drop anything. A huge wave of relief washed over me as soon as I reached the front off the bus, though I struggled to open the door I found it oddly comforting to be back in the bus.

"Hey guys, I'm back!" I called into the eerily silent bus.

The first thing I see is Jawn on his laptop and Awsten laying upside down on the couch. I set the food down onto the table beside Jawn's open laptop.

"Oh finally." Awsten responded sounding more energized than before some how.

"Next time I'll remember that one." I warned jokingly.

"Geoff, Otto, wake up! Leah's here with the food!" Awsten called back to our friends in their bunks asleep.

"Coming!" Otto yawned followed by Geoff yawning aswell.

"Chesseburgers, fried chicken, fruit salads, and coffee." I list off as the boys all gather around me.

"Can I have some of the chicken?" Jawn asked quietly from behind his lit up screen.

"You're gonna have to ask Otto, but I'm sure it's fine since there's like fourty pieces." I shrugged at my red headed friend.

"It's fine." Otto dismissed Jawn's question sleepily.

"Then everyone else just get what you wanted, but the second fruit salad is mine." I instruct while grabbing one of the still steaming coffees from the carrier.

"Thanks." Awsten smiled a ghost of a smile while he passed my hair and walked outside with his phone, his face plastered in a hyper focused expression.

"No problem," I whispered back and sat down on the couch to get out of the boy's way.

Once they are all moved away I jump up to get my salad. When laying my hand on the top dish Awsten lands his next to mine in tandem.

"Oh, uh sorry- I mean excuse me, uh sorry." I struggled to put my sentence together correctly, obviously flustered but I didn't mention it.

He'd just came back inside after getting off the phone with whoever he was talking to. I instantly moved my hand to help my awkward situation a little more easy.

"Thanks, uh, thanks Leah." Awsten smiled at my kindness making my pale skin flush pink.

"No problem Dizzy, who were you on the phone with? It seemed like you were stressed before you went out." I asked, feeling genuinely curious.

"Oh that was no one really." He answered quickly, as if it was practiced.

"Okay." I responded confusedly, obviously wondering about Awsten's unusual actions.

He grabbed his fruit salad and left mine on the table, walking away with his face stuck in his phone as if it could make our conversation disappear. I shrugged it off and picked up my fruit to tame my growling stomach. I took a fork and headed back to my bunk for some semblance of peace with all my crazy thoughts.
