When she finished recording, she combined it with the CD. Now she could hear what was wrong. it was very clear that the chord progression didn't match the melody. She started to tinker with chord progressions on a keyboard and wrote down on the score what she thought would work best with the melody. When she finished writing her recommendations, she turned to look at the clock in the booth to see what time it was. That is when she noticed Toma standing there looking at her. She jumped out of her chair and nearly fell over. "Oh my God! I didn't realize you were there." She frantically tried to pick up after herself. "I didn't know you needed the studio. I'll get out of here right away."

"No, that is okay" Toma replied rather calmly. " I had come to see if you wanted to get lunch, because your last appointment had cancelled."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be" he intervened before she could apologize more. "When I got here and heard you singing, I couldn't believe my ears. Why didn't you tell me you could sing?"

"Well... I'm not that good. So, I figured it didn't matter."

"Are you kidding?" he was shocked. "Your voice is beautiful, I could listen to it all day."

She blushed. No one had ever complimented  her like that before. She didn't know how to respond.

"So what were you singing? I didn't recognize the song."

"Oh... Um... Haruka Ino-sama sent me one of the songs she was working on, because she was having some trouble with it. She said she had been working on it for three days and still couldn't figure out what was wrong. So, she asked if I could listen to it and see if I could help. I was having a little trouble because the CD she sent only had the background music. That is why I decided to sing the melody myself and incorporate it into the song she sent. Once I did, I could clearly hear what the problem was and then I could try and help her fix it."

"So, what were you about to do just now? That is, before you saw me."

"Umm... I was going to record the background progression with my recommendations to send back to Haruka-sama."

"I have a better idea. Let's record the whole thing" Toma said with an excited look on his face.

"What?" Dawn was confused. "What do you mean?"

"I'll play the background progression and you..." he paused and looked at her. Then he pointed at her and said "sing."

"What!"
