Being a middle child is never easy. You always have to live up to your elder sibling as well as set a good example for your younger one. This was more than a fact for Dawn, because it seemed as though she was always to blame for anything that went wrong. Her older sister was the flawless one and her younger sister was the princess, so neither of them could do any wrong. That only left Dawn, the middle child.

Dawn was nothing like her sisters, but that never bothered her. While they were watching television dramas, she was reading about faraway places and dreaming of what it would be like to go there. So it came as no shock to her parents when she told them that she wanted to do a foreign exchange program. She had always loved the idea of going to visit Japan, but knew that her family could never afford to go there. When she heard of the foreign exchange program, she figured this would be her only chance to go and see one of the places she had always dreamed of.

She knew that it would be no easy task to convince her parents, but surprisingly they gave their consent. They told her the only way she would be able to do this would be if she had a financial sponsor. They wanted her to be able to go, but they did not have the money necessary, so they filed all the appropriate forms for the application and even applied for her passport. Dawn hardly asked for anything for herself and her parents knew this fact well. So, when she asked to do the foreign exchange program, they realized that this meant a lot to her and wanted to do everything they could so that she could go.
