Mabel remembered when Bill had taken over Dipper. "What do you mean, PUPPET?" Bill looked slightly annoyed. "Obviously, kid, I thought you would be able to figure it out. I am going to control you like a puppet." He explained like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Mabel gulped. She remembered that Bill wanted the journal last time. "Can I think about it?" She asked. Bill thought for a moment. "Fine, but Pine Tree stays with me until then." He said finally. Mabel froze for a moment. Wait, if he keeps Dipper with him, I can just pretend he is still alive and then I dont have to leave, and I can still get him back! She realized. "Alright." She agreed. "I'll be back, Shooting Star! I'll be back...." Bill Cipher warned. He snapped his fingers and disappeared.

   Mabel woke up for the second time. She was in the same place as where she had fallen asleep, but Dipper was still gone. All that was left was a few drops of blood. Mabel stood up. her side burned where the thorns had gotten her. She walked slowly back to the Mystery Shack, developing a plan on the way there.

   Mabel thought of who could help her hide the journal. Tell Stan it wasn't his fault, his and tell Soos that I will miss him.. Dipper's words rang through her head like a bell. SOOS! That's it! Mabel recalled Soos knowing about Bill from the time the Dream Demon had entered Grunkle Stan's mind. She found the handy man replacing an old lightbulb in the attic. "Soos!" I need your help with something!" She told him with urgency in her voice. "Sure, girl dude. What do ya need help with? And hey, where's Dipper?" Mabel took a deep breath. "That's the thing, do you remember that triangle guy that tried to steal the Mystery Shack safe code in Stan's brain?" Mabel asked. Soos nodded. "He was way creepy.." He commented. "Well, he might be trying to steal Dipper's journal and he has him captive. If I meet his demands, he will let Dipper go!" She pulled out the journal from beneath her brother's bed and handed it to Soos. "I need you to hide this somewhere until Dipper asks for it back, okay? And DON'T hide it in the shack! And if anyone asks, say that Dipper is on a trip in the woods, okay?" Soos agreed, a little worried about Dipper. "I won't let you down!" He promised. And with that he hurried off to go hide the journal.
