Mabel saw her brother breathing slowly. She gently shook his shoulder, tears still in her eyes. "Dipper..." Dipper's eyes opened a little. "M-Mabel... I.. I know I don't.. have much time left, so... tell Stan it wasn't his fault.... Tell Soos that I will miss..him... and tell Wendy...that it was fun hanging out with.. her and her friends..." Dipper struggled to speak the words, and every breath was even harder. Mabel started crying. "And... Mabel.... I should have just... told you about the amulet... and about Bill. I'm... I'm so sorry." His eyes closed and his breathing came to a stop.

   Tears streamed down Mabel's face. "D-Dipper? Come on , Dipper, please! Please wake up! Dipper, I need you! I-I shouldn't have said those things, and you shouldn't have h-h-had to sacrifice so much for me, I admit it! But please, Dipper, you have to get up! We'll get you help, and everything will be okay, I.... I promise.." Mabel trailed off. She knew that nobody could help Dipper, and nothing would be okay. And she knew nothing she said would bring him back. So she just sat there with him and cried.

   "Dipper... I wish you were still here.. I would do anything to have you back." she muttered. Little did she know, that was a wish that could be granted.
