Note: I wrote this OS for Geet anniversary thread..now posting here...I hope maaneet fans here like it...would love to hear some genuine review 😊😊

She was born for him but he never acknowledged....and when he finally realised it's too late....every journey doesn't get a happy ending, every Happy ending doesn't get a happily ever after....still we have to go through this journey as it's destiny who fixed it for us....this is not story about geet who from her birth only know one person as her life partner Maan.When girls at her age dream for her prince charming...she used to dream about maan....this is story of maan who from childhood ignored geet and her love and when he finally understand it's worth...her worth it's too late....

From childhood they had grown up together till one day maan had to leave abroad for further study....few years later geet too went pune for further study and also to forget maan and move on....

geet was 4 yr junior than maan....after 10 yr of separation finally it was the day when the Prince of khurana is going to come back in his palace....both Khurana and Handa's are nabour and family friends....for maan Handa house is his second home and from childhood he have spent most of the time here with geet only....so for both Handa and khuranas it was a big day...the day they will welcome their prince back....

it was near 6 in the evening.....all the handas and khuranas gathered in airport to give Maan a grand welcome....after few minutes of impatient wait finally they saw their prince running out towards them....

Maan's dad hugged him happily "how are you son?"

Maan "perfect dad....hi mom kaise ho ap...Rano mom how are you?mohi pa you are looking more handsome than ever....and hugged them one by one"

when maan left for further study he was 16 now when he is back he look more handsome than ever....

one by one he meet with anni his little sis....Dev his big bro...Naintara his beloved sweet bhabhi and brij his best friend.... after meeting everyone when it comes to brij he didn't get the same warmth like every time they used to meet.....maan choose to ignore that cold vibes between them as somewhere he knows the reason too....after meeting with everyone his eye's start searching for her.....

Brij "kise dhund rahe ho maan?"

Maan looking at brij "geet nehi dikh rahi brij?"

Brij "wo pune me Hain do din baad ayegi"

Maan confused "lekin anni ne to mujhe btaya uski college 2 din pahle hi khatam ho gaya hain"

Mr.khurana "uski dost ki behen ki shaadi thi maan to wo attain krne k 2 din baad ayegi"

Maan again asked "usko pata hain na aj main wapas ane wala hu?"

Brij rudely replied this time "haan pata hain....to Kya hua tu koi PM Hain jo tujhe welcome kr ne usko ana parega....chal ghar chalte hain sham ko party hain tere welcome ki"

Maan monologue " geet ko pata tha main wapas a raha hu fir bhi wo nehi ayi?"

Flashback

Maan was out in a school tour with his friends for 4 days....geet was very upset the day he left and tried to call him too but maan being maan never try to recive those calls or even call back her...he was too busy with his own life to think about anyone else .....the day he cameback geet had her best friend birthday to attain but in excitement to welcome back maam she skipped her best friend birthday too and arrange a party for him with the help of his and her siblings....she wanted to surprise maam but the response she got was not the one she expected

Maan irritated " geet main char din k liye bahar gaya tha and uske laut ne ki party?ab tum bari ho rahi ho pls stop this stupity of yours...samajh nehi ata tumhe sb log itna saar pr ku chara k rakhe Hain.... pls now I need sleep...bht tired hu main sone ja raha hu...tum ne party arrange kiya hain na ab tum hi enjoy kro...." geet was disappointed but maan does not care about her emotions and went to his room too catch sleep

Flashback end

Brij "maan chalega ya wohi pe khara rahna hain"

that night maan attain party arrenged by their family but without geet he not able to enjoy it much still he was there not to upset his family members....

It was near mid night when the party got over he went to his room sitting beside his open balcony he start too think what went wrong....geet was never like this for her he is her first priority....yeah it's true he never acknowledged her presence bcs he was too busy with his own life....yeah it's true that he was not bother to call her or used to ignore her constant calls too but that doesn't mean she will stop calling him....but that's exactly what she did....after his constant ignorance one fine day she stopped calling him and out of his arrogance he doesn't bother to call her too....and from then there was no contact between them.....

Next morning at dining table

all khurana and Handa's having breakfast together when maan's dad words caught his attention....

Mr.khurana "Mohindar aj subah mere dost Kulbhushan Mehra ka phone aya tha....kal uske bete veer aur uski wife geet se mile shaadi k function me...unhe to ek hi br me geet pasand a gayi....geet ko apne ghar ki bahu banana chahtey Hain...bht hi accha family Hain unka aur humere contraction k sare supply wohi se to mostly atey hain....acha family kya bolta hain baat chalayu?"

Vidhya "wow.....waise to mujhe bht mann tha k geet meri bahu bane par ab wo dono bare ho chuke hai aur hume apna decision baccho pe thopne nehi chahiye....." said little sad

Maan suddenly said "geet se pucha apne usko apka so called veer pasand Hain ya nehi dad?"

Mr.khurana "to hum kaha Abhi haan bol rahe hain maan....geet ko ane de usko puch k tabhi haan krengey....agr hume apne bacho ki marzi ki parva nehi hoti to jb Samira ko tumne pasand kiya tha isiliye geet se shaadi nehi krna chahte the ye baat hume btaya humne tum se jabardasti nehi ki...warna ab tk tum dono ki engagement ho gayi hoti"

Rano "maan beta bura mat manna but tumre ya fir sayad humere ek galat faishla k wajase geet pe pahle hi bht kuch beet chuka Hain ab uske bina permission se hum kuch nehi krengey"

Brij "waise bhi maan humere geetu k liye sahi bhi nehi tha....dekhte Hain ye veer kaisa nikalta hai....lekin jitna sunna hain larka accha hain lagta hain"

Maan stand up to leave the table

Mohindar "arey maan khana to thik se kha le"

Maan "mera ho gaya Hain dad"

It was the day geet finally coming back to Mumbai...all are getting ready to leave for airport when a black car stopped near Handa mansion....

all went outside to see who is the guest including Maan when a handsome boy came out from the car and opened the other side of the car door and there she is the princess of Handa's and khuranas are here...wearing a lovely pink kurti geet came out and hugged her mother....

Rano "arey geetu tu to a gayi...hum tujhe hi lene airport ja rahe the"

geet "maa wo veer bhi ap sb se milna chahta tha to hum pahle wale flight se hi a gaye the ap sbko surprise dene....accha kiya na?"

vidya "bht accha kiya geet" and vidhya give her a warm hug

geet meet with everyone one by one and introduced veer with everyone too....maan was standing last little far from everyone observing geet and veer silently...geet finally noticed him and stopped for a second and went towards him....bringing her hand forward she wished

geet "hi maan....kaise ho?"

Maan was again surprised by geet's action ...the geet he know would have hugged him highly by now seeing him after long and he would have scold her for her this irritating childish nature but here she is meeting him after 10 long yrs but their is no excitement in her face seeing him...she is meeting with him just like doing some formality.....maan trying to smile wished her back

Maan "main thik hu geet but tum bht badal gayi ho"

geet with a small smile " geet Abhi bhi wohi geet hain jo pahle thi maan bus usne kuch bato ko achi tarah se samajh liya hain....geet to main ab bhi wohi hu bus wo tumhari irritating si pagal larki ab nehi rahi...jisse tumhe chirr tha...to ye badlao acche k liye hi hua na maan?"

Maan was about to reply when they heard another voice

veer "hi and you are Maan right?....khurana uncle k bete"

Maan "hi veer....tum mujhe kaise jante ho?"

veer "waise to geet ne ap k bare me jada kuch btaya nehi lekin fir bhi I know about you...wo actually tumhare papa and mere papa friends hain.. ..to ye accha waqt Hain hum bhi ab friends ban jaye....(looking at geet) what say geet?"(and he wink at her)

Geet "bilkul....ap ander bhi Jana Hain ya yaha pe hi sare baat krna hain?"

veer "haan ofcourse after you madam"

Geet went inside followed by veer....a clear irritation can be seen on maan's face although he himself doesn't know the reason

Rano to Vidhya "geet aur veer kafi ghul mil gaye Hain ek dusre se....lagta hain geet shaadi k liye maan jayegi"
