"Come on, MA-I, we're getting you to the academy." I told her and she nodded.

We left the abandoned hellhole for good. Now we need to travel another mile back to the academy.

The reason we're going there is, because the academy is adjacent to an army base, where Murasame Senpai worked at the instant dojo's infirmary.

We reached the academy after nearly one hour and the sun nearly went down. We had to navigate through the bombed neighborhood, and avoid any Tigers members we see.

We walked to the instant dojo near the sports field. It's shaped like a typical dojo, with a kendo court and all. It has 3 rooms, both of which are for intense training, while the middle one is the infirmary, where Murasame Senpai worked.

I knocked on the door and it automatically opened, and I was greeted by Murasame Senpai.

"Ah, (Y/N)! You're the one with the Android! I couldn't believe this! Now give her to me for a moment to check her."

"Why don't you want me to bring her to the Mōri?"

"The Mōri is all about keeping technology to themselves. There's no doubt they're gonna use her for weapons research, which is why the Imperial government and them are being unfriendly to each other."

"We on the other hand work directly for the emperor! We also help people who need help and such."

"Oh."

"What's in her data anyway?"

"She has her company's old log that said that she had datas of the Android blueprints and some research on American Poseidon Energy."

"Poseidon Energy... Well I'm lucky! We were researching on how to harness energy from the sun to power our buildings!"

"How long will you borrow her, senpai?"

"24 hours. Me and the team will be starting working now, oh and also expect some differences on her after we're done."

"Ok. MA-I, companion protocol: Terminate."

She then sadly frowned and held my hand.

"It's OK, MA-I, you're gonna be better after this. I'm sure of it."

I let go of her, and I walked out of the dojo leaving the 2 of them alone.

The next day is Saturday and there's no school. I got a message from Senpai telling me to get there right now.

I have to admit. I felt really lonely without her, I'm really in love with that machine-- girl.

I walked to school and towards the dojo where Senpai is grinning proudly.

"Ready to see the new MA-I?"

"Of course."

She then grabbed a hand and she pulled MA-I towards her.

I looked at MA-I, she indeed changed a little. The button on the back of her neck is armored, making it hard to deactivate her manually, but it's kinda dirty, and is repainted with skin color.

"I upgraded her ability to adapt more in combat. She'll be much more effective in combat as a result."

"Anything else than that?"

"Well... Come on MA-I, spit it out~"

"G-Good morning (Y/N)-Kun~ Have you eaten?" She talked, naturally!

"What... What?"

"I also upgraded her so she can talk instead of beeping, and put a personality chip making her think that she's your childhood friend from the start."

"Then, about those logs?"

"We cleared the ones with the blueprints of Androids like her, but we downloaded the ones with Poseidon Energy research into our computers. Now we can have solar energy as a means for powering electricity."

That's because lately the instant generators used to power the electricity runs by clean burning chemicals, which is more expensive now due to how hard to make it. Now the instant generators will have solar panels on them to harness energy from the sun.

"(Y/N)-Kun. Let's go home, there's no school today."

"Sure, MA-I!"

"Oh yeah, (Y/N). Inside those files we also found something you might want to see. I've sent it to your phone."

We then left the dojo, and we walked back home. Later at night as MA-I slept, I decided to take a look on the thing that senpai sent me earlier.

I connected the phone to my computer and I see that the file is a video, and watched it.

"No no no! That one's a failure! We need another subject!" In it, who seems to be Yuri shakes her head frantically. Her face is covered with a mask.

"Well then, how about your daughter then? She's a potential." Yuri's co-worker said as he pointed to a girl with a striking resemblance to MA-I.

The video cuts to when MA-I was set down on an operating table. Yuri began to grin maliciously as she said "Oh... She's... She's the perfect match... Happy birthday, MA-I 21..."

The video then shows how MA-I is created. Her brain is replaced with cybernetic upgrades and her bones were enameled in titanium, which explains her monstrous strength. Her eyes were replaced by a robotic pair of eyes with the same eye color as she previously had, an electric blue. Her heart is also replaced with a robotic core powered by something I don't know, but it explains why she can eat or drink without getting broken as Yuri accidentally dropped some of her food onto the core, the core absorbs it and it became energy. The core itself connects to the womb, for obvious reasons.

Yuri laughed, like a madwoman might do.

I can't believe it... She was once an actual human...

I don't know what would have happen if I gave her to the Mōri instead...

I looked at MA-I, who left the sliding door to the closet opened. She is sleeping soundly.

I caressed her cheeks as she then smiled warmly and began to sleep more peacefully.

Don't worry, MA-I, I will make sure nobody will make more of you.

And in the time that follows, I and MA-I began to grow even closer with each other, while the other boys at school still envy me but they also fear me since I have braved the roads to the forbidden zone, something they can never done.

Years later we would have a child. A hybrid of me, a human... And MA-I, a machine.

Both of us lived happily in the end with our child. However, MA-I don't age since she's a machine.

With the logs cleared and it's systems upgraded, both (Y/N) and MA-I lived a loving family. The Imperial Scientists uused the information recovered from MA-I on Poseidon Energy, to develop new methods to harness the energy of the sun, instead of just a power source.
