synopsis!

12 YEARS AGO, WHEN the RDA's chokehold on Pandora was at its strongest, Enid Sutherland lost her baby. Two years later, she went to war. But not for the monsters who stripped the planet of its beauty and took her baby, but for its natives.

When Enid joined the Avatar Program, under the guidance of her Aunt Grace, she was only eighteen. After six years in cyro, she made history, being the youngest ever to pilot an Avatar. And Enid loved the planet more than anything else. Grace once said, "I think my own niece love's Pandora more than me." Enid did not fully deny the accusation.

When Enid turned 21, she met David, a scheme set up by her Aunt. But, the scheme worked. She fell in love, hard. And love seemed all the more magical on Pandora. They got married, a wondrous celebration. And then Enid was pregnant. So, she took a break from piloting her Avatar, something that pained her to do, as she would miss her friends in the Omaticaya Clan, but for the baby's health, it had to be done.

But it was not meant to be. She lost the baby late into her pregnancy after she had been given a name and everything. Enid was never the same after that. Nothing that David or Grace did made anything better. She seemed to go into autopilot mode for two years until Jake Sully arrived.

His arrival shifted something within the planet, maybe even Eywa herself. Resulting in a fight against the RDA erupting from within. And Enid joined in that fight. A mother's rage is something powerful and after losing her child, she needed to take it out on something. Fighting for the Na'vi brought back that light Enid had lost, but then she lost Grace and David. Both of her family, gone so quickly and without goodbyes.

Heartbroken once more, Enid tried her best to put on a brave face for Jake and Omaticaya. But that face was starting to fail, until Spider. Son of Colonel Miles Quaritch, he was left behind when the humans returned to Earth. As soon as Enid met him, something in her brain clicked. She adopted him and suddenly everything was right in the world.

Then Kiri came along. Miraculously, Grace's Avatar became pregnant. Every test Enid ran could not find the answer as to why, but she informed Jake and Neytiri and they accepted the miracle baby into their family. Despite the inconclusive results, Enid didn't care where Kiri came from, because she had a part of Grace back in her life and she wasn't going to take that for granted.

Though she had lost David, leaving a hole in her heart that would never be filled, she found love again in her son, her niece, and the Sully family...

Until the humans returned.

[ ummmmmmmmmmM.....hi LMAO. Y'all knew this was coming.
I fucking LOVE avatar and I had been planning a fic before twow even had a trailer BUT since seeing it my ideas shifted and this plot was born!

I LOVE the world of Avatar, so I'm going to put a LOT of passion into this book. Starting with the names of Na'vi/Sully family, specifically their last names. The last part of their names refers to their parent and "ite" for female (daughter), "itan" for males (son), and "eveng" for a non-binary Na'vi, which just means child. I found this super cool to learn about, especially for Neteyam and Lo'ak, because their father's name is Jake and the Na'vi language as no J, they had to spell it how it sounds to say in Na'vi, and same with Grace, which is why Kiri's name is also different! They more you know!!

(and yes I am a Spider apologist)

Imma try to update this and a few other fics more consistently so keep and eye out!
