"Tch.Are you gonna come or not"  he said annoyingly staring at me.

"Uh...hm" I entered inside the lift. Embarrassment that's what I felt just now. Did he see me staring at him shamelessly.

"Tch" he muttered something under his breath. I felt him exactly behind me. Hitting his hot breath at my hair makes me shiver in my spine.

I turn my head slightly around my shoulder. What the heck he is even doing. He raised his hand moving it towards my cheek. Now his breath is hitting my forehead. I gulped.

"Wh..wha...t?" I shuttered out.

His hand passed behind my head. He pressed something behind me and the lift started to move. Huh.

"Tch" he clicked his tongue and moved away from me.

Oh. I didn't press the button. Hm but wait how did he know which floor I'm going?

Like he read my mind so he pointed his finger at me.

Me. What's in me?

I looked down at myself and it clicked. I'm wearing the lab coat so it's obvious I work at a laboratory. I turned around and focused on the elevator door like it's the most interesting thing in the world.

𝐷𝑖𝑛𝑔. The door slid open and I quickly went outside jogging towards the lab.

I entered the lab and the first one greeted me "Ms. Eline" said Historia

"Oh Ele where did you go?" exclaimed Hange.

"Um for some coffee" I said smiling slightly.

"Huh" she confusely looked at me.

"What?" I looked at her weirdly

"Where is coffee Ms. Eline?" Asked Marlowe.

Huh. Coffee? yeah coffee. Shit.

"Umm I actually went to the 6th floor washroom. This floor washroom has some leakage problems. So I thought to grab some coffee as well but then I thought that I'll be late for the meeting with the new CEO" I let out which is half truth.

"Oh YES" Hange yells out.

What the?

"I forgot the CEO has arrived already and asked everyone to gather in the meeting room in the 20 mins" she let out.

"Oh let's go or we will be late" I said immediately lifting the file from my desk and moving out hurriedly.

In meeting room

We are all seniors and their assistants were gathered in the meeting room taking our seats waiting for the CEO to arrive. Hange is head of the laboratory so she is with me now but I'm not her assistant. It's Moblit but he is on leave for some personal reason so I'm taking his place till then. The meeting room door opens and Erwin the assistant of the new CEO enters first observing everything and everyone. He seems satisfied with everything and calls someone. Maybe the CEO. And after a few minutes the door opened again. And there's enter the new CE- wait what? He is the CEO. It's the same person from the lift earlier.

"Fuck" I whispered. But Hange has such sharp ears she heard it and chuckled.

"Hot right?" She asked.

And I subconsciously nod regret it immediately. She just chuckled at my embarrassed face.

Erwin cleared his throat silencing everyone in the room.

"I'm Erwin Smith. Assistant of the present CEO of Ackerman Corps. Mr. Levi Ackerman" He said more about the company and all. "Now I would like to call the CEO to say a few words"

And then the lift man I mean Levi Ackerman stood from his seat and looked at everyone. When his eyes landed on me it was narrowed. Fuck. His eyes stop at me for a second but it's enough for Hange to notice. She looked at me and I just shrugged.

"The name's Levi Ackerman" that's it.

That's all he said and sit down again. Everyone looked at him stunned by his blunde answer. Except Erwin and Hange.

Erwin cleared his throat and said to start the presentation one by one.

The presentation started. Everyone gives brief explanations upon their new projects and promotions. Then it's my turn. I went in front of the presenter and exhaled a heavy breath.

"Good Morning everyone. Myself Eline Johnas. First of all I want to give an explanation about our recent achievement that is..." and I went on with the presentation showing confidence in my face but I can feel a hard stare on my face and I know who it is. "And that's all I hope you all have a great day ahead" I said smiling slightly and everyone clapped their hand. Well I'm famous among the whole laboratory department for my intelligence. I took a glance at the CEO and he seems satisfied. 𝐺𝑜𝑜𝑑.

And the rest of the meeting went on after an hour the meeting came to an end. Levi Ackerman just gave a nod at the end of the meeting and went out. 𝑅𝑢𝑑𝑒.

We left the meeting room. I was heading towards the lab with Hange when she asked a question from nowhere.

"Ele did you want to say something" she asked making me confused.

"What?" I asked confusely

She huffed out "Babe in meeting room Levi stare at you"

"Oh I don't know" I said avoiding eye contact.

Hange didn't buy my answer but then also nodded and headed towards the lab. I sighed out in relief and followed her.

At the CEO office room

Levi is looking through some files. When Erwin comes into his office and clears his throat. Levi looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Well that was a little bit of rude" Erwin said indicating the moment happened in the meeting room.

"Tch" is all he said.

Erwin sighed "You know Levi you can't be this cold to your co workers" He tried to make him understand

"I'm not cold. I just don't want to waste their time and 𝑚𝑦 time" he said coldly.

Erwin gave up knowing Levi's nature.

"Umm"

"What do you want to say?" Levi asked him noticing he has something else to say.

"That girl" Erwin hesitantly let out.

"Which girl?" Levi asked in confusion.

"The meeting room girl" Erwin said and Levi got it. Erwin is too intelligent to not notice a few second stares of him.

"It's nothing" he clicked his tongue.

Erwin raised an eyebrow "If you say so"

"Tch"

"Oh I forgot" Erwin said

Levi raised an eyebrow asking him what?

"Hange booked a table at a restaurant to celebrate your return back" Erwin let out making Levi annoyed.

"I can't I have some shit to deal with" Levi said being annoyed.

"You have no choice you know Hange" Erwin said chuckling.

"Tch" he clicked his tongue knowing well there is no way to escape.

At home

I jumped at my bed as soon as I reached home. Ah relaxing. Today went not so well. I sighed and went to change into something comfortable afterwards to help my parents at the restaurant.

At Restaurant (9:00 pm)

"Huh Levi here" Hange said waving her hands motioning him to come over.

"Shitty eyes" he said

"Ow nice to meet you too" Hange said smiling brightly.

Erwin just chuckled at them and sipped on his wine.

"Let's have some wine Levi" Hange offered him a glass.

He takes the glass from her hands and takes a sip.

"Let's order" Erwin said after sometime.

The brunette and raven hair nodded.

"Um waiter" Erwin called the waiter ordering dinner.

"Okay till the dinner comes lets ask me something" Hange blurred out.

"Tch" Levi clicked his tongue being  annoyed.

"So Levi" she began. And Levi knows it's not going to end well. "Why did you stare at Ele?" She asked

"Ele?" He asked confusely.

"Yeah my friend Ele at the meeting room" she said clearing him.

"I also asked him the same thing he said nothing" Erwin said.

"Oh how can it be nothing he clearly states at her" she points a finger at him.

"Tch. I didn't stare" he said

But Hange didn't believe him. She scoffs "I know you did. See if you are interested I can talk you know" she said sheep isly.

"Hah. What?" Levi asked narrowing his eyes at her.

"You know I can be a cupid in your love story" she said smiling like a maniac.

Levi looked at him like she was some psycho.

"Oh come on you don't have to be shy" Hange said making Erwin chuckled and Levi sneered.

"Shut up shitty eyes" Levi said gulping his drink. 𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘 𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚?

Next day.

You are sitting at your desk checking the new drink reports that are going to launch someday at the market.

"Ms Eline?" Called Historia

I lifted my head and looked at her. She looked at me smiling sweetly. 𝑆ℎ𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑎 𝑠𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡.

"Yeah Historia" I asked returning her smile.

"Ms Hange said to hand over this file to you" she said handing me a blue file.

"Oh must be the written documents of the drink" I said taking the file.

"Ahm Ms Eline" Historia said hesitantly sitting at her desk.

"Yeah" I asked softly.

"Why do we keep the record of everything in written documents" she asked.

I smiled and said "It's important Historia"

"How?" She asked confusely "if you want to say" she immediately said rubbing her arm.

I just giggled at her "See we saved everything on the computer right?" I asked her.

And she just nod.

"But it's not important that everything kept in computer is safe sometimes the computer glitch or even worse everything got erase which I know we can recover again but it takes time and in time of emergency what we will gonna do we can't wait to recover everything it's take time so hand written" I said waving teh blue file.

She nod taking everything in. I chuckled at her reaction. And she blushed embarrassingly.

"Ms Eline is the reports ready?" Asked Malowe smiling at me.

"Yeah it is"

"Oh Ms Hange has asked for them" he said moving his hand forward.

"Oh" I handed him the reports and he went out after taking them.
