"Ms Eline" called my co worker Historia who is peaking behind her laptop towards me

"Yeah" I answer while analysing some notes on my desktop

"Do you think the new CEO will be hot?" She asked whispered squealing

"I don't know Historia. And if I'll be honest I don't want to" I answer truthfully. And why will I be when I have someone besides me

"Oh okay" she said and went back to her work

"Yooohooooo" someone yells so loudly that I guess the whole building has heard

"Oh Ms Zoe" Marlowe said looking at her with wide eyes that how can someone scream in that amount of level

"Oh I'm so happy my friend is coming back to me" she said squealing literally foot to foot

𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑? "Which friend are you talking about?" I asked confusely

"Oh My darling Ele" she said launching towards me literally throwing me from my chair "You don't remember?"

"Remember what Hange" I asked annoyed

"That the CEO is my childhood friend" she said plasting a big smile at her face

My eyes widen in realisation "oh yeah you told me about that" yes she is fucking friend with the hier of Ackerman's

"Oh seriously" both interns asked in utter surprise

She just nod proudly

"Oh my tell us more" asked by Historia a little excited

"Oh we are buddies from school. Me Erwin and Levi we used to play together and used to hang out together before he went abroad for futher studies" she said to the interns like she is telling some fairytale story to kindergarten kids and they were listening like one's

"Oh you are so lucky" said historia

"Lucky? What's there to be lucky" asked by Marlowe confused. Huh someone here who is logical besides me

"Oh you don't know" Historia asked

"Know what?" The kid is still confused

"Oh it's said that the heir of Ackerman's is a reserved child from his childhood he doesn't get along with anyone always sit at a corner and stay silent but a very good looking and intelligent one he is. So people wants to be closed with him and they used to try but he basically broke their teeths if they come and inch near him" Historia said seriously. Huh what a ridiculous kid who used to beat everyone around him

"Oh didn't he do that to you?" Marlowe asked slightly afraid

"Oh believe me he tried but you know no one can resist my charms" she said mischievously

Huh. Rubbish I know she got a minimum 100 hits from him and at last he got tired and gave up

"Ms Eline" someone broke me out of my trance

"Yeah" I looked at Historia and she looked worried

"Are you okay?"she asked worriedly

"Yeah Historia" I said with a smile. She is so sweet

"No you know you have been stress lately. I know a new CEO is coming and if he asked for a programs report, you are preparing every report analyzing them again and again so there won't be any mistake" she said slowly

"No Historia I'm okay and that's my job to do. So don't worry" I tell are sweetly so she could believe in my words which happened she also smile back

"Okay" she said with a pretty smile

Yes I have been stress not about work but Floch he is been so busy lately cause elections are coming and this time Frieda daughter of Reizz is standing in election and Reizz is appointing Floch as her assistant. So he is tangling with that and me with these reports, not getting time for ourselves.

I fished out my phone from my bag and type a text to Floch "Hey" and shut it down

At night

"Welcome home baby" mom said as soon as I entered

I just gave her a smile

"Tired?" She asked cleaning a table

"A little"

"Go and freshen up dinner is ready" she said taking the dirty dishes

"Okay I'll be back and help you with that" I said pointing at the dirty dishes at her hand

"No no need just freshen up and come for dinner" she wave me away

I went out from my bathroom while whipping my face with the towel. After placing it aside I went towards my table where I had put my phone on charging and turn it on. There's a notification. A text from Floch.

"𝐶𝑎𝑛 𝑤𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑒𝑡?"

He wants to meet now "Now?"

Not a second later there is another text "𝑦𝑒𝑎ℎ 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑒"

Huh. He is here "okay wait"

I send and quickly went out tugging a jacket with me and hurriedly putting one of my slippers

"Huh where are you going?" Asked mom who is preparing the dinner table

"Just a moment I'll be back" I replied from the doorway before I went out

There he is standing while leaning at his car. He saw me coming and straight up. He looked tense

"Hey" I said getting near

"H hey" he said tensely

"What happened? Are you okay?"

"Ye yeah" he sutter again

What happened? This all seems to bad.

He took a deep breath. And open his mouth to say but close it eventually

"You are making me scared Floch" I said slightly afraid

"Eline I want to say something and this is very important for our future" he said

"What?" I asked confusely

"Let's break up" he announced

"What? Do you think it's a nice joke. Come on Floch I'm already tense-" I cutt off looking at his face he looked serious "you are joking r right?" I asked shuttering

He kept quiet. No this can't be happening where everything wents wrong. Why everything wents wrong?

"I know it's hard but let's break up I can't do this anymore. I don't love you anymore" he said looking at me straightly.

Those eyes where I saw love for me today there's nothing.

By saying these he open his car door and went inside and drive away.

I stand there silently not knowing what to do. What to feel.

I turn around and went inside. I opened the door and welcome by my mom question

"You came. Come now let's have dinner"

"Mom I'm not hungry" I said without looking at her

"Huh? You can't sleep hungry come" she said firmly

"No mom I'm not. I'm going to sleep" I said and went towards my room

I heard rushed behind me "let her be" dad voice came out. Oh so everyone is at dinner table

I come inside my rooms and closed the door with a thump. I looked at my room like it's something new. And went towards my bed crawling up and laying with my back. I take a deep breath. I don't know what to do. Should I call Hitch. No she she what she will think of me. She warn me before only. Whom should I talk whom should I share. My mind is not working. Like a life saviour there's ring on my phone. I pick it up and saw Hitch call. I pick it up

"𝑌𝑜 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡'𝑠 𝑦𝑎 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔?" Her voice came out cheerful

"H Hitch" my voice break eventually

"𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝐸𝑙𝑒?" She asked worriedly

"Hitch I I" I cried out. I can't handle anymore. Hot tears come out from my eyes

"𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑑𝑖𝑑?"

More heat burn in my eyes. I subconsciously sob out. I slam my hand on my mouth to control the  noises so that no one can heard

"𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑛 10𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑠" she said and the line went off

The phone slipped from my hand and I cried putting that hand on my head. I don't know what to do now.

"Shhhh shhh it's okay don't cry" she tried to calm me down "that bastard" she grinned her teeth together

"I don't know what to do anymore" I said sobbing out

"What you don't know I'm telling you from day one that he is not the one but you blinded by fake love" she said looking at me sternly

I look down. Now what

She placed a hand on my shoulder and I looked at him "don't worry he is not the end of the world" she said giving me her one of the best smile

"I know that it's not the end but" I muttered out

"But. But what?" She asked raising her one eyebrow

"I don't know where I went wrong I'm not angry that he broke up I'm upset that he didn't say it clearly where things went wrong" I let out a sighed

"No need to do it's his job. You sleep. Cause my sleep is precious" she said making me confused. Looking at my confused face she said "If you sleep then I'll sleep if you stay like these all night then how can I sleep so you sleep now so that I can sleep cause my sleep is precious"

I look at her like she is some illegal species roaming around illegaly.

"What?" She asked annoyed

I shake my head "You sleep"

"Huff you too You have a important day tomorrow right new CEO is coming" she make me remember

Yes. My eyes widen. I'm so into this breakup thingy that I forgot the most important part of tomorrow.

"Yes I almost forgot I need to go early tomorrow. Oh my" I let out "let me sleep get out" I kicked her out of the bed making her land on her bed that is already there on floor and I get inside the blanket to sleep.

I huff out "Nice way to say Thank you"

I heard her rustling but didn't came out from the blanket. Then I remembered something and I turn towards her peeking out of the blanket.

"Hitchy" I said whispered yelling. She didn't heard "Hitchy" I said a little loudly

"What?" She turned to face me

"How you know that it's the one" I asked

"What?" She asked confusely

I sighed out and jerk up to sit "I asked how do you know that he is not the one"

"Oh I know anybody can tell that"

Anybody. But not me I guess.

"Okay but how do you know he is the right one" I asked

"Oh you will get to know at the right time" she said sheeplisly

"Oh come on tell me how will I know that who is the right one is" I asked annoyedly

"You won't" she said

Huh. 𝐼 𝑤𝑜𝑛'𝑡. What that she mean?

"I won't then who?" I asked raising an eyebrow

"Your heart" she just smile

"My heart" I said amusedly

She gave me a nod. Huh what rubbish

"Jeez what rubbish just sleep" I said pulling the blanket and again back facing her

"Huh what do you"

She is saying something but I didn't gave attention. When the right time comes my heart will know. I place my hand at my chest area near my heart and don't know when did I fell asleep

"Yoooo" Hange squeal out. I don't know how many times from morning she sqeaul. Huff

"Ms Eline" Historia called me out

"Yeah" I asked her with a smile

"Did you done with the report?"

"Oh yes I done" I said giving her a smile which she return back

Oh Pee. I got up from my seat Jerking my chair backwards and moving around my desk to go out for washroom.

"Where to Ms Eline?" Marlowe asked coming with some sample to test

"Washroom Marl" I said waving at him

After done with my business I wash my hands and looked at me at the basin mirror checking out one last time before heading out. Walking through the corridor I looked around "it still early the CEO must be here at some time I should grab some coffee from cafeteria" saying I head to elevator and press the button. After some second there's a ting at the elevator and the door opened. I looked straight and there's a man looking at his phone when he heard the door sliding sound he looked up and my breath stop. How can someone be this good looking. I looked at the steel grey eyes that are staring me back. That beautiful pair of eyes.
