Today windy bluster

Sideways wind sock streaming

Treetops wildly swaying

Sun is warmly beaming

Daffodils are dancing

Bouncing lawn chair pillow

Brown leaves twirling upward

Watch large white clouds billow

Look up at bare treetops

Grocery bag is soaring

Box rolls down black roadway

As strong winds are roaring

Hat brim catches updraft

Hat rolls down gray sidewalk

Chase contrary head piece

As my mouth spews loud squawk

Wind gusts keep on coming

As my hair is swirling

Silly hat keeps rolling

Empty fingers curling

Finally a neighbor

Runs forth and steps on hat

Laughing at my drama

We stop and have a chat
