A silver bell's jingle

     leaves behind a tingle

A tree draped in white snow

     delights my inner glow

A song of love and joy

     better than any toy

A smile from a stranger

     wipes away my anger

A snowman on the front lawn

     sparkles from light of dawn

A wreath upon my door

     scent of pine needles pours

A cookie fresh and warm

     incite a taste bud storm

A card from far away

     leaves behind cheer's sweet sway

A hug from anyone

     sends heartbeat on a run

A simple gift of love

     fits better than my glove
