Volunteers are nature's way

To add spice to garden's spray

Seeds dropped by wind or critter

Life starts from nature's litter

When seeds find a welcome spot

To sprout within garden's lot

And with a strong drive to grow

They escape old gardener's hoe

Bullies not allowed to stay

They join compost's earth bouquet

Pretty wildflowers, if polite

May stay and spread eye's delight
