Ellys POV

I walked up to my front door and unlocked It. I walked In and passed the blue roses Asher brought me. I guess he thinks hes gonna bribe me, although I can't say I don't mind the little surprises. This morning there was a box of chocolates and a Walmart bag with a bunch of my favorite candys. I guess he wants my teeth to rot out. I will say, hes trying hard, but not hard enough.

Ashers POV

"Hailand, I need you." I said.

Hailand gave me a confused look.

"For what?"

"To help pick out an outfit for Elly."

Hailand smiled and looked at me.

"Alright, thats enough with the begging. I'll help." Hailand said.

"I wasn't--

"Asher, I said I'll do It. Stop begging." Hailand said, rudely cutting me off.

"Well then." I scoffed.

"We need to go to the mall." Hailand said.

"Alright."

Hailand and I walked Into Rue 21 at the mall and Hailand started going through the racks.

"I'll be right back." I said.

Hailand nodded and I walked over to the rings. I stared at a gold ring with a blue diamond In the middle. She'd love this... I sighed and walked away. Can't buy It right now, maybe another time.

Ellys POV

I walked Into the kitchen and got a cup. I walked to the fridge and grabbed the milk. I poured some In my cup and walked into the living room. I layed down and flipped through the channels.

Nothing...

I miss Asher. I just want my boo bear. Hailand has hers, I just want mine.

That thought got me to my feet In a split second. I put my cup down and ran to my bedroom. I ran a brush through my hair and despite my outfit, I was out of my house In no time.

I was In my car before I knew It and I grabbed my phone.

I quickly texted Asher and told him to meet me at the old run down park near by. I drove away from my home and to the old park. I parked and got out. I was the only person there, there were no other cars. I sighed and walked over to the big oak tree. I remember when he took me here. We carved our initials on an old willow tree. How cliche? To be honest, I didn't and still don't care. I love cliche, I guess It's just my thing. It was our thing.

"Elly?"

I looked over my shoulder and spotted my prince to be in his blue jeans and a tight grey shirt.

I walked up to Asher and snaked my arms around his neck.

"I'm sorry." I breathed out. I took a deep breath, slowly letting his cologne take me in.

"No, I'm sorry."

Asher combed his fingers through my hair and I sighed.

I pulled away a bit to stand on my tippy toes to kiss the love of my life.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too."

Those words ran off my tongue like a rain drop dripping off a green leaf. I miss him. I long for him. Asher leaned down to kiss me and I gladly let him. I was suddenly pushed up against a tree and his hands went down to my waist. His teeth gripped my bottom lip, pulling ever so gently. He let out a low growl and thats when time stopped. I... I was there In the moment. I had wished for this moment. I cried, sobbed, screamed for thus moment. Where has the time gone? It's like It flew out the window. Literally. Just a few years ago I was depressed and upset. Now... Now look at me. I'm caving in beautifully. Time caught up with me and Asher pulled away.

"Come on."

He took my small hand and enclosed it with his. Our fingers tangled together and a smile played on his slightly swollen lips.

"Where we going?" I called.

"The willow trees still here."

My heart did a small flip to know he remembered. The ironic thing is I was just thinking about that.

As we ran, we came to an abrupt stop.

Asher let go of my hand and took his hands to feel for the carving. He circled around the old tree and a yelp came out.

"Here It Is."

I excitedly followed his voice and right there In front of my eyes were the carvings. Asher looked at me and I captured his lips once more. I pulled back...

"Where has the time gone."

It was a rhectorial question. I didn't want or need him to answer. I already knew. I stopped caring, I lifted my head high and I faced life. This is my reward. This Is all my reward and I don't have to share It with anyone.

"It's been here for a very long time."

Asher and I whipped our head behind us. There before us was a small girl. She wasn't too young-- maybe ten, nine. I couldn't tell. Girls nowadays skip the awkward stage-- blue eyeshadow, pink lipstick, ugly plaid skirts, and go straight to the pretty stage. It's quite unfair If you ask me.

"I thought that was too cute. I want a love like that."

Asher and I grinned at the little girl.

Tear struck at her baby blue eyes.

"My parents didn't last. They divorced, apparently they couldn't stand each other, but ever since I saw this, I've always wanted to meet the two of them. I've always Imagined the girl to be short, real beautiful, murky green eyes, black hair, tan skin. The guy, well I've always thought he'd have to be taller than her."

Those words warmed my heart. I'm glad she had faith, not many people do.

Asher squatted down.

"Well, here we are."

The girl looked at us both.

"My names Asher, and thats my sunshine, Elly."

The girl let out a loud squeal.
"OMG! Are y'all messing with me?!"

I squatted down too.

"No, we aren't." I said.

"Can I get a picture with you?"

"Of course, darling."

Asher and I got close and so did the little girl. She grinned along with us and snapped the pictures.

She stood up and bent down a bit. She leaned In my ear:

"Keep him, don't wind up like my parents. Day one, y'all were my Inspiration."

After that, the girl waved goodbye and ran off.

See, never lose faith, because somewhere In this awful world there is someone that believes.
