‖Chapter 4‖

Ellys POV

I WOKE up to a strong arm around my waist and a warm breath In the crook of my neck.

FlashBack

"Are you sure?" Laiken asked.

"Yes." I said softly.

"We don't have to do this, If you're not ready." Laiken said.

I leaned up really close to Laikens ear.

"I want this, I need this. I want this with you." I said.

"Okay." Laiken said capturing my lips with his.

End Of FlashBack

I smiled at the memory and rolled over In Laikens arms.

"Laylay." I whispered, pecking his lips.

Laikens eyes fluttered open and he smiled at me.

"Yes, sunshine?"

Oh god.

"No, don't call me that. I like It when you call me baby." I said with a lazy smile.

"Good morning, baby." Laiken said.

"Good morning, love." I said capturing Laikens lips In mine.

I pulled away and sat up, wrapping the cover around my body and going to the bathroom.

I closed the door and looked In the mirror.

What have I done?

I ran my shower water and stepped Into It.

I have a thing for Laiken, but Asher....

Damn It, Asher! Why'd you ruin me? Huh?!

A silent tear ran down my cheek and I washed myself off.

"So, dinner tonight?" Laiken asked sitting on the toilet.

No, before you even ask. He Is not using the bathroom. I'm In the bathtub shaving my legs.  He just wanted to come and chill with me.

"Yeah." I said.

"Okay. Um, did you enjoy last night?" Laiken asked.

My cheeks warmed up and I looked down.

"Hey, hey. Don't be embarrassed. I wasn't going to make fun or anything." Laiken said much closer to me now.

"Yes, yes I did enjoy It." I said with a small smile.

"Good. I hope I was better than douchy Asher." Laiken said.

My head shot up and my heart shattered.

"Get out." I said.

"Baby--"

"No, get out." I said.

"I didn't--"

"Get the hell out!" I yelled.

Laiken scampered out and the door shut behind him.

How could he? How could he say something like that?

He knows how I feel about him talking about Asher. Or anyone In that fact.

I stood up from the bathtub and dried myself off. I pulled my vibrant blue robe on and exited the bathroom. I looked around the room to find Laiken gone. He probably just went for a ride. Thats what he normally does when we argue. My eyes stung with a few more tears and I dialed Hailands cell.

                                Hailands POV

I walked down stairs and grabbed the house phone. Without checking the caller ID I answered It.

"Hello?" I asked.

"H- hey."

Elly.

"Elly, whats wrong? Are you okay?" I  asked frantically.

"Yeah can you just come to Laikens house and pick me up and bring me home?" Elly asked.

"Yeah be there In ten." I said.

"Scott! I'll be back!" I yelled.

"Where'ya going?" Scott asked walking up to me.

"Somethings wrong with Elly. I'm staying with her tonight. Pack me some clothes and bring them to her house In an hour, please." I said pecking Scotts cheek.

"Okay, see you then." Scott said.

I walked out of the house and Into my mercedes. I buckled my seatbelt In and drove to Laikens house.

"I'm staying tonight." I said.

"You don't have to." Elly said.

"Look, I'm sorry to say this, but why are you even with that jackass? I mean, theres always soemthing going on between you two. Laiken, Is a jerk whether you wanna admit It or not, Elly." I said.

"I'm trying to get over Asher." Elly said.

"Well your not!" I hissed.

"You wanted me to move on! You wanted me to be happy!" Elly said raising her voice.

"Months! You guys have dated for months and you're not over him! Stop pretending to be over him! Your not and you know that!" I yelled.

"We're not dating... Yet." Elly hissed.

Elly gave me one look and went Into her bedroom; slamming the door behind her.

Gosh! Shes as stubborn and hard headed as a damn rock!

"Let me In." I said knocking on Ellys door.

No answer...

"Elly, I'm sorry. Just let me In." I said.

No answer.

"Damn It Elly! Let me In!"

I rubbed a frustrated hand down my face and cursed to myself.

"At least eat something." I said.

No answer.

I huffed a breath out and went and laid down In the guest room. Elly has a big white house. Its an upstairs house and It has two bedrooms In It, the kitchen, and everything else a house would have. I love her house. Its cozy and when you walk In, you expect to see a happy family of three. Always joyful music and lovely smiles, but Instead you get a depressed women who mopes around all day and longs for her true love.

Ashers POV

I drove to the airport and my car will be transferred to BoneMont. I can't believe I'm actually doing this. I can't wait to see my sunshine. I can't wait to hold my sunshine. I can't wait to talk to my sunshine, hear her voice. I just can't wait.

Scotts POV

"Yeah, I got everything settled." I said.

"Alright man." Kade said.

"Okay, bye." I said.

"Bye."

With that I hung up.  Kade is my coworker. We're pretty close. Well, I take that back. I mean, we know each other. I walked upstairs and made sure the guest room was set up for Asher. Hailand Is gonna have a fit. Lets just say I haven't talked to her about Asher staying over a few days so he can get a room. I mean, maybe she won't care that much.  Who am I kidding? She cant stand Asher anymore. Or thats what she says. I'm pretty sure she'll soften up when she sees him again. Thats just how Hailand works.
