‖Chapter One‖

Ellys POV

IT HAS been three years since Asher left. Three years of agonizing pains, and heartfelt speeches. Three years of crying endless, and no sleep. Nothing has changed. I still live In the small town of, BoneMont and the gang Is still here. I met a few new people and life and I have been getting along pretty well. I have met a guy, his name Is, Laiken River. He's pretty sweet. We have been 'talking' for twelve weeks. Y'know, just getting to know each other. We're nothing serious, just trying something new. I am a busy makeup designer. A few years ago, I figured out I kinda liked It, so I have my own shop, and I cut hair too. I'm kinda awesome at It, If I might add. After I moved out of the house, I went out and got me a cute house. It's a big, white, house. I have a personal gardener that cuts my grass, fixes my garden, y'know so on. So thats whats going on In my life.

Ding

Ding

I walked over to my couch and grabbed my Samsung and opened the new text I relieved.

CR; Hey girl. I just wanted to let you know I'm gonna drop by and see you. I'm on my way now.

I smiled down at the text and at my good friend. CR, also known as Colorado Rose I met her In my third year of college and ever since we've been really good friends. Colorado and Miles are together and they're very cute together.

Knock

Knock

I walked to my front door and opened It up.

"Surprise!"

I flinched at the voices of my two best friends, Hailand Grace and Colorado Rose.

I leaned In and captured both of them In a friendly hug.

"Come In." I said.

Both, Hailand and Colorado Rose walked In my house and took a seat.

"So, how are you?" Hailand asked.

I sighed.

"I dont know." I said earnestly.

"Do you need any company for the next few days? Your welcome to stay over at the house." Hailand said.

"No, thats okay. I'm just gonna see If Laiken can come over for a few days. He's been very supportive about the whole Asher thing. I'm just surprised that he- hes--"

"Okay, thats enough of that. Why don't we go have a girls night out. Y'know, go to bars. Watch sexy guys dance on a pole, shirts off." Hailand said.

"They don't have those down here." I said.

"Come on Elly. Look, It's hard, but you are gonna get through It, and we are here to help you." Colorado Rose said.

"I know, I just want him to hold m- me one more time." I said, tears slipping through my eyes.

"Hey, hey. No need to cry. You're only twenty two. Come on, you have your entire life ahead of you. You can get through this." Colorado said.

"Okay well I guess one girls night won't hurt anyone." I said with the best smile I could muster up.

"Here, wear this." Colorado Rose said tossing me a pair of black leather jeans, a white flowy shirt, and my black stilettos. I walked Into my bathroom and looked In the mirror.

Why do I have to be so hung up on Asher?

"Well lets go to Wal-Mart and ride on the little scooters!" Colorado Rose said.

FlashBack

I pressed the forward button and the scooter jerked forward.

"Wow, this thing goes faster than It should." I said.

Asher laughed once again.

I finally got the hang of It and Asher and I was riding down the aisle.

Asher was standing on the back of It.

I stopped In the music section and stood up to grab a Taylor Swift CD.

I felt two strong arms push me down and I fell on the seat.

"Ash- my knee!" I screeched.

A women frantically walked over to us.

"Is everything okay Miss?" The worker asked.

"Yeah, my knee just hurts." I said holding my kneecap.

"I'm sorry." The women said.

"Oh no, Its nothing minor. Doc just told me not to walk on It for two weeks. My boyfriend has been getting a little extra exercise carrying me everywhere." I said lieing straight through my teeth

"Right Asher?" I asked looking at him.
End Of FlashBack

We were so happy, It's unbelievable. We were the golden 'It' color.

"Elly?"

I snapped my gaze up to Hailand and Colorado Rose.

"Oh, I'm sorry. What?" I asked.

"Wanna go make some trouble at Wal-Mart?" Hailand asked.

"Um, no. Can we just avoid Wal-Mart. Asher and I--"

"No need to explain, It's okay." Hailand cut In.

I sighed a sigh and leaned my head against the window.

"So Wal-Mart Is out, so you wanna go to the mall?" Hailand asked.

"Thats fine." I said.

Colorado Rose squealed.

"We're going to da mall! Sing It with me!" Colorado Rose sang.

"We're going to da mall, we're going to da mall!" Hailand and Colorado Rose sang.

The both of them paused and turned to look at me.

Hailand quirked her brow.

"We're going to the mall!" I sang.

I guess just for today, I can be happy.

"Woooo!" I sang.

"Get outta the way!" Hailand sang.

I was standing In a buggy while Hailand pushed me and Colorado stood In the front holding on for dear life. A few people we passed gave us dirty looks while others laughed at us. What? Twenty five year olds can still act like teenagers.

"Watch where yall are going!"

I flipped the guy who yelled at us a bird and hollered,

"Get mad!" I hollered.

Hailand laughed and came to a stop, almost knocking me out of the buggy.

"Are you having fun?" Hailand asked.

"Hell yeah!" I sang.

"Wanna go to the bar?" Colorado Rose asked.

"Sure." I said.

We walked Into Dawns Bar and took a seat at the Island.

"So, kinky?" Hailand asked.

"YEAH!" Colorado Rose yelled.

"I dont wanna." I whined.

"I don't like the drunk Elly." Colorado Rose said.

"Hey, I'm not complaining. I know how to handle drunk Elly." Hailand said.

"Ooh, rainbows and unicorns. Ooh! Look their dancing!"

"Booty, booty, rocking booty!" I sang.

"Hey Elly, we have popcorn and puppies at home." Hailand said.

My eyes lit up at the mention of popcorn and puppies.

"Ooh, yes, yes, yes!"

I sat In the passenger door and leaned my head against the window. After that my vision went dark and I fell asleep.
