Chapter Five

~Declan~

I woke up still in Tony’s arms. I look up at him and he is still asleep. I moved his arms off of me and went into the bathroom to pee. I snuck into the pantry to grab some blood and ran back into the bathroom. Before I checked and too see if he was still sleeping. Check, He is. I ran into the bathroom drinking the blood. Oh god this is so good. I craved it so much. I drunk two bags and threw them in the trash. I went back to check on Tony. He sleeps like a baby. Nothing could wake him up. I started to cook breakfast and made some eggs and bacon. Plus toast. Tony walks into the kitchen. I knew he would smell that.I laughed in my head. “You’re making me breakfast?” He asked me smiling. “Of course.” I smiled back. I grabbed him a plate and gave him food. I pored him a glass of orange juice. “You know I never invited anyone over here before. You are the first.” I inform him. “Really? I must be special then.” He winks at me. I giggle. We finished eating breakfast and my sister walks in. She looks at the both of us. “We didn’t do anything if that is what you are wondering.” I informed. “Good.” She laughs and grabs her coffee. “I got to go to work so I’ll see you tonight.” Vanessa says and walks out. “Your sister is really cool.” Tony points out. “Yeah, I guess you can say that.” I smile at him and clean up the dishes. “So what do you have planned today?” Tony asked. I look at him. Is he trying to stay here longer or something? “Nothing at all.” I responded. “Me neither.” He laughed awkwardly. “Is this your way of saying you want to hangout today?” I asked. “Sort of.” He mumbled. I laugh while putting the dishes back into the cabinets. My phone starts to ring. I grab it out of my back pocket at Lyla’s caller ID showed up. “Hello?” I asked. “Hey do you want to hang today? Aiden, Shaylee and I are going to the lake today. You should come. And bring Tony. Because I know that he stayed with you last night.” She says. How does she know these things? “How do you know this?” I asked nervously. “I was just guessing but you just answered me.” She laughed. “Fine we will be there.” I said and hung up. “So Lyla is going to the lake today. Do you want to go?” I asked Tony. “Yeah. Sounds fun.” He smiles big. He has the cutest smile I have ever seen. Snap out of it Declan. I told myself. “Come on. I’ll get you a change of clothes.” I gestured and we walked up the stairs. “Holy shit your room is huge.” Tony gasps. I giggle softly. “Here, try these on.” I threw him a pair of shorts and a tank. I was a little smaller then him, muscular wise. When he took off his shirt I tried not to look but I couldn’t stop. His body was so ripped. I started to get turned on instantly. His biceps was huge. “Like what you see?” He asked and giggled. “Sorry.” I said awkwardly. I turned back around and diged through my closet. He wrapped his arms around me and shoved his hands into my shirt. “You know, you like what you see.” He whispered into my ear, sending chills down my spine. He glided his hands down my stomach. Why must he turn me on like this? I can’t hold back. I turned around and shoved him against the wall making him giggle loudly. I began to kiss him so passionately and with so much hunger. He kissed down my neck, making me moan. I run my fingers through his hair and pulled. My phone starts to ring. I sighed and answered it. “WHAT?!” I shout. “Damn boy, calm down. You shouldn’t come to the lake….” Lyla says. “Why?” I asked. Shoving Tony off of me. “There is a dead body.” She informed. I hung up and grabbed my keys. “Come on.” I said rushing down the stairs and out the door. “What’s going on?” Tony asked worried. “They found a dead body by the lake.” I informed him and I stepped on the gas making him fall back into his seat. We pulled right next to Lyla’s car and I ran over to her. “What happened?” I asked anxiously. “I don’t know. There was a girl with bite marks and claw marks all over her body.” She said and hugged me. “Where is Shaylee and Aiden?” I asked. “They are on their way.” She said and looked towards the cop. I see Vanessa and ran over to her. “What happened?” I asked her. “Declan, what the hell are you doing here?” She asked aggressively. “Lyla called me. Now tell me who did this.” I said looking at the dead body. She pulled me over to the side so no one can hear her. “You was right. There is wolfs back in California.” She pointed out. My eyes widen. If there is wolfs back here, then there is danger to me and Vanessa. If a wolf attacks us, we will become infected. And the only way to heal is by a hybrid. Which is very rare. I guess you can say Welcome back to Lynn Haven.
