Prologue

Three hundred years ago, the Gods and the other supernatural beings were the apex of the balance of the world, with three missions, to help the people, to balance the good and the evil of the world and making the world a better place. All of them, led by the Greek and Roman king of the gods, Zeus/Jupiter, spread their influence far and wide, helping people the best that they can, letting people know that they were there. The world was at peace, but something has changed...

100 years ago

"Loki, take your son Fenrir and your brother Thor with you. Go to the main bridge! " Zeus shouted and Loki nodded, already grabbing Thor and Fenrir, running for a distance before teleporting in a green flash of light to the bridge. Zeus sighed in relief and turned to Athena to discuss about their next move, but not before glancing at his father in worry.

"Go Zeus. I'll be fine. Besides, the enemy will not be able to attack me here. I have Tartarus as backup. " Kronos smiled softly at Zeus and Zeus nodded, pulling Athena along as he ran to the other section of the world to help his people.

"Father, we can't keep on going like this. We'll die at this rate. " Athena mentioned to Zeus and Zeus nodded, agreeing with her.

"Yes, I agree daughter, but we can't give up, not yet." Zeus tried to turn at the next corner, but stopped as he stared at what was in front of him in horror.

"F-Father?" Athena asked and Zeus glanced at his daughter, terrified.

"It looks like we lost, 'Thena." Athena glanced at Zeus in horror.

"We're going to die here as our final stand." A low chuckle sounded from behind both daughter and father and the figure who emitted the chuckle smiled eerily.

"That's right. Say your goodbyes. " Both Athena and Zeus were killed and so ended the peace of the world.

The survivors, who had witnessed that tragedy, suffered many years of fear from the enemies. Some died trying to protect the others from death, some provided shelter from the enemies, while others banded together to make a government, one that will help people in need, but all their efforts failed until the day the brothers who were blessed with the power of the gods and supernaturals, Arun and Arlon came. They rebuilt the cities, advanced the technology using magic and the whole human race were thriving again, but something they both never expected happened that changed everything.

The brotherhood of both brothers began to shift as people became more corrupt, using the technology to hurt each other. Arun suggested to tighten the laws on technological weapons that do harm to people, believing that people never cared whose lives were being threatened, and insisted on focusing the technological advancement on life saving efforts but Arlon declined, believing that tightening the laws only benefited themselves but not others. Arlon told Arun about this using evidence, but Arun stubbornly believed that tightening the laws would benefit everyone and Arlon became more bitter. One day, a fight broke out between the two brothers, and everything fell apart.

"Brother, I declare war on you. I swear upon my loyalty to the people and my followers."

Their bond broke and thus, the war between the two brothers started. The bloody war went on for many years, with many dying from starvation and many dying from war. It went on for 20 years before both brothers, realizing the devastating effects of the war, they caused, decided to come to a truce, both rebuilding the future city we are now known as Almaris.

Almaris was broken into two parts. One, the upper city that was always lit up with bright neon lights, natural light reflecting through crystalline windows and always airy called Astraea where Arun stayed and the other, the lower city that is shady and dull, that looked like it was covered in shadows called Rowan or it's another name, the Underworld where Arlon stayed in. All Almaris have been at peace for many years, but something no one never thought it would happen, happened which started with a prophecy......
