The scene opens up with Kyle reporting to Colonel Voight.

Voight: Sergeant, how was the rescue operation?

Kyle: FUBAR, sir.

Voight: What happened?

Kyle: *sigh* Four of the Lycoris Agents were killed by Chinese Troops when we came, only two survived. 

Voight: It's unfortunate. Son, if you have plans for the two, you can say it.

Kyle: I needed a replacement for Briggs and Simmons. So I thought they would be great.

Voight: I had that idea as well. And I think you could be their Drill Instructor. Go take them to Camp Schwab. I'm assigning them to you.

Kyle: It's only two weeks left for Miss Inoue. Let her rest.

Kyle goes to the Medical Bay as he sees Takina and Chisato talk to each other, until Chisato noticed Kyle.

Kyle: Hey you two, I came back from talking with Colonel Voight.

Chisato: Oh! Kyle, this is Takina. Takina, this is Kyle.

Takina: Hi, Kyle.

Kyle: Hi Takina, woke up this morning?

Takina: Yep...

Kyle: Can you explain what happened out there before I came in?

Takina: We were just at the Café, but when we heard gunfire, we saw Chinese Forces outside as some of the other Lycoris Agents were fleeing inside. Only when the Chinese had seen us, two of them had lost their lives and we had to fight back, but we were no match. Only the two of us survived when you had made it.

Kyle: Originally. We were a squad of six Marines. But two of them were killed. We were in Afghanistan in 2017. I wished I could've saved Lieutenant Simmons and Corporal Briggs. I did have plans for you two to join my squad. Only you won't just instantly join, you'll need to go to training. 

The two agreed and they had to rest as later on, it shows them in the Standard-Issue Uniform, and of course, Kyle was their senior DI and right after some very rude insults, it shows them running through the Obstacle Course, they are also seen doing hand-to-hand combat training and Bayonet training. And it shows them firing M16A4 Battle Rifles with FMJ Rounds, as Kyle was seen with the two of them.

*Semi-Auto Gunfire*

Kyle: Good shots. Switch to your bursts, you'll need it if you will be requiring to shoot at short ranges. 

*AR Bursts*

Kyle: Next is the M4A1, which is what I use.

Later on, it shows them firing the M4A1s and then it shows them using the M203 Grenade Launchers and they are using training rounds.

Kyle: Using training rounds is less dangerous and has more safety. Can I trust you with real Forty Milimeter Rounds? OF COURSE NOT!

Right after, they had been assigned their weapons as Takina got an M4A1, including Chisato. Later, it shows them in the CQB Course as they are going into rooms and oddly enough, they were wearing real gear and are using non-lethal ammunition. Then it shows the whole Platoon in the course as a fake M1A2 Abrams was in front of them as then, an Anti-Tank Rocket Destroys the M1A2, only thing was, the M1A2 had stopped moving as it shows a first person POV of Takina as she shoots an Enemy, which was a Marine who was supposed to look like a PLA Soldier. Then it shows them moving into a building as a Machine Gun, kills Lance Corporal Garrett, but he had to act like it to look the part.

John: MAN DOWN!

Takina threw a training Grenade and it exploded as the Gunner acted like he was killed, then it shows John fire his M16, but he gets shot and then Chisato shot the enemy. The last enemies shoot Private Roosevelt and Kyle shot the enemy, until he gets shot as Chisato and Takina shoot the last one.

Kyle: Training Complete, good job. The guys you shot were fellow Marines who had to look the part. Welcome to Force Recon. Congratulations.
