"stop , God." Screamed Wren

She couldn't hurt an older woman, by the time she finished , wren was sure it will leave bruises

" your grace , stop please , alpha king won't be happy about it ." begged a maid

" if you dare tell him what happened today, I will kill you for sure , you still don't know me peasant ." threatened the woman leaving.

Wren didn't move from the floor , she felt so worn out she didn't even want to move .. she cried herself until sleep took her on the carpeted floor .

He entered his chambers after a meeting that lasted three hours, he felt something wrong as his heart beats went stronger but he ignored it for the meeting was really important .

He was about to sit on the couch when he saw his little mate on the floor, his heart sped its pace though he could hear her heart beats , he took her between his arms running towards his bed , he touched her forehead , he noticed bruises and dried tears on her left cheek .

" wren , baby girl, wake up ." he shook her trying to wake her up

She whimpered when he moved her , he went to the walk in closet fetching one of his shirts .

He unzipped her dress undressing her , his wolf went insane , his growl shook the castle .

As he changed her into his shirt that went under her knees..

She opened her eyes slowly .. as she saw him she started crying again hugging him immediately.

She straddled him crying her heart out.

" it's okay love .. I'm here now.. what happened baby girl.?"

She shook her head in negative holding into him for dear life , he hugged her back , playing with her hair .

He called for a healer , who came in minutes to inspect the Luna's bruises .

She touched the bruises roughly to see if there's a broken bone or not .

" alpha king , our Luna will be fine, no broken bones, just some bruises they'll fade with time , she can apply some ice or some herbs ."

The king nodded dismissing her , he looked at his mate who proceeded to cover herself with his shirt .

" what happened love ?" he asked as gentle as he could master

" n..nothing ."

" wren this doesn't seem to be nothing.. now tell me. "

" I'm .. scared. " she cried like a baby

" from what love?" he asked trying to not scare her

" h..hug me to.. sleep .. please. " she hicupped

He gave her what she needed , holding her little body as if she's his baby ..

" rest for now we'll talk about this when you wake up ." he comforted her kissing her forehead .

She just nodded , hugging him , holding into his shirt .

His mind didn't stop imaging what happened , he didn't smell a male's scent on her which put him in peace but he still wanted to know what happened to his angel .

She woke up in a tired body but feeling how her husband is hugging her she felt safe .

She tried to move making him wake up immediately, " what's wrong, are you hurt ?" he spat quickly .. she shook her head in negative pointing to the bathroom

He nodded giving her the permission .

After doing her morning routine and changing her clothes, her husband was ready too ..

" let's eat breakfast down ."

She nodded " okay. "

As they walked out of his chambers and into the hallways they suddenly came face to face with Ethan and his mother ..

" good morning alpha king ." they both bowed

Wren tried to hide behind her alpha king's back holding for dear life into his biceps , he smelt her fear ..

" good morning. " he responded

He backed her immediately against a wall gently " is she the one who did it ?" he asked her

She shook her head hesitant ..

"don't lie on me wren , nothing will ever happen to you again ." he almost yelled

She shook her head in negative again " I .. can't tell you ."

" okay I've got enough ." he spoke furious

He led her to the dining hall , sitting her in her spot .

" who dared to touch my woman yesterday ." he yelled looking at all of them

There was a silence , an uncomfortable one

He yelled again but in his alpha voice demanding their submission " you better come out now if you don't want to be killed ."

Sophia Ethan's mom stood up unwillingly her wolf submitting to their alpha king .

" I knew it was you , who gave you the permission to touch what is mine ?" he spoke his voice so deep making everyone shiver

" alpha king your mate touched my son both physically and morally. " defended Sophia

" your son hit my mate too , shall I discipline him and send him to the dungeons ."

She shook her head " no your majesty , I just couldn't see my son .."

" aunt Sophia. " he yelled but his mate's hand touching his made him stop , she looked at him pleading " please let this stop here , no further punishments nor arguing ." she cried

"ETHAN I apologise for what I did , I shouldn't have done that ."

Ethan nodded acknowledging her

" from now on the punishment of harassing the queen will be death ." he yelled making everyone nod

" yes alpha king ." they all responded in synch

After breakfast they headed back towards their chamber.. he sat on the couch " come here. " he ordered , he bent her over his knee " you're getting this punishment so you never dare to hide anything from me , this is the second time you do it ."

" but I'm not a kid anymore.." she whined

" for me you are . this is the least you can get , I don't want to hurt you mate but you deserve it."

He rolled her dress up making her struggle " this is humiliating your majesty ."

"shut up if you don't want to get a worst punishment. "

He only stopped after the tenth one as she whimpered, tears falling like a river, he rubbed her bottom " sweet wife , what should you say now ?"

" I'm sorry alpha king for hiding the truth from you ." she hicupped looking down as he made her stand up to fix her dress .

He tapped his lap for her to sit and she obeyed both her legs between his , she winced in pain as she sat down , he kissed her lips in hunger while playing with her hair , when he finished , she put her head on his chest in exhaustion.

" you've been a good girl so far , if it wasn't for hiding truth because you're scared I wouldn't have punished you. " he spoke a hand soothing her pain down and the other playing with her hair .

" she threatened me , ... she said if I tell you anything about what happened she will kill me ." she whispered in pain

" she wouldn't dare kill you, she knows what would happen .. you only have to fear me and nobody else .. " she whimpered hearing his tone
