she woke up to an empty bed , breakfast on the table along with a book he left for her .

she slowly walked towards the bathroom in order to wash up , ate her breakfast and found a comfortable spot on the terrace to read her book.. few hours passed without her realising until maids brought her lunch ..

" did you eat ?" she asked softly
" we still didn't your majesty." bowed one of them .

" sit , let's eat together the three of us , it's too much for one person either ways. " she ordered nicely

" my apologies your grace , but we can't, if the alpha king knows about it we'll be dead ." declared the second one.

" he won't be coming any time soon and it's an order , if anything happens I will interfere ."

they both hesitated then obeyed their Luna' s orders .

they started eating with her encouragement , " so what are your names?" she asked smiling

" I'm mina your grace and she's Lara ." introduced mina
" nice to meet you mina and Lara. " responded wren

" our pleasure ." they greeted

they left immediately when she finished eating , the rest of the day was nothing out of the ordinary .
she took a nap , read several pages from the book and ate some snacks , waiting for his arrival to keep her company .
the sun went to the other side of the world and stars took place in the immense dark sky, she awaited patiently her husband's arrival but it doesn't seem like he's coming any time soon ..

sleep took over her tired body after long hours of patience ..
the next morning she woke up once again to an empty bed but she knew that she slept alone by the untouched spot of her husband , she sighed standing up to do what she does everyday .. today was nothing better than yesterday, she felt terrible and lonely , she tried opening the doors but they were locked from outside , she sighed in frustration for the one hundredth time , then walked towards the couch sitting down in order to read the historical book he left for her.

a week passed by , without her seeing a glimpse of his face not even once , maids too didn't inform her of anything about his majesty, she felt anger and frustration .. ' what if he's cheating on her !!' .. ' why isn't he sleeping on his bed ?" .. ' he didn't even come to check on her ' all these thoughts were swimming inside her brain ..

another two weeks passed by making them three , she started having nightmares , she would start crying from everything and anything it has been so long since she left his room , and he didn't even come to check on her , she started feeling anxious and she stopped eating properly as for sleep she became deprived of it , many bad thoughts were inside her head making her feel worse by every passing second ' what if something bad happened to him ?'...' what if he found another woman .?'
'what if he hated her forever .. ?'

something inside her broke into pieces and she felt on the verge of crying her heart out once again ..

maids started noticing that she doesn't want to eat anymore , she seemed to be in a lot of pain , her would ached for her husband's care though he was nothing near caring and soft but he was there for her everytime she felt alone..

" your majesty , please eat something, everything is going to be alright really soon . " spoke Lara

she shook her head in negative..
after many attempts Lara and mina gave up and decided to let her have a moment of privacy .. they didn't know much about their king's whereabouts and even if they did they don't have the right to talk about it for it can be treason as what the king does should always be confidential..

she walked around the terrace, looking at the bright sky , then sat down looking at how free these birds are , sometimes she wished to be as free as them instead of being trapped in this hell hole all alone .. he didn't even bother to ask about her , if she's doing well or not , he caged her in his room and didn't even check on her..
she cried herself until sleep took her away from her painful situation ..

maids came to check on her once again , they covered her with a comforter and left ..

five days into the fourth week and she felt even more miserable.. she ate only when she felt like passing out , and only small quantities.. lying down on the bed she felt empty and lonely , something in her felt uneasy with her husband's absence , these passing weeks she got to know that she became totally dependant on her husband and his existence in her life..

he played such a big part of her daily  life , she felt helpless and she didn't like it , she has to be strong and independent, she's educated and wise enough to depend on her own self ..

also she's still young but she's not reckless and she does know what's right and what's not therefore she has to be courageous..

the mark he gave her would hurt her from time to time since two weeks ago and she didn't understand what's the problem , but she did try to shut the pain out and focus on something else like her husband's absence for example ..

just imagine being alone and banned from leaving a certain limited spot for a month, your husband is not coming back to you for a whole month , that bothered her immensely but she has to be patient only two days left and she will leave this cage and find out what's happening outside these doors .. she just had to be patient , just a little more , she chanted herself to sleep as it was her only pass time lately, she would wake up and find it's already a new day .. that's how she was trying to deal with her unbearable situation..

but she knew that she will be let free in the end .
