it was almost dusk when they reached the castle , she felt tired and couldn't fight the slumber that took her , he carried her towards his bed, putting her gently and covering her tiny body .. he sat next to her frame kissing her forehead , he played with her soft hair .

he walked out of his chamber towards his office , he had work to do , leaving the castle grounds for days was no joke , he had to put work under control once again ..

her stomach made funny noises , she woke up at midnight hungry .. she felt a strong arm engulfing her from behind, her attempt to move made him wake up immediately " what's wrong ?" he asked checking with his eyes if she's fine or not ..
" I.. I'm fine ..." she whispered.. her stomach made noises once again
" you're hungry ." he stated moving out of the bed, she noticed he was shirtless and she blushed even more , he mindlinked maids to make her something to eat ..

she tried to move out of the bed but something cold brought her attention . wren moved the covers to see something shine on her ankle, she panicked and forgot how to breathe..

he turned towards her " do not fret for it's long enough you can move around this room ."

" is .. this ... my punishment?" she asked hesitant
he walked towards her in all his glory, he was huge and she knew he could kill her anytime if he's not careful

she gulped looking at his sculpted body blushing deep red , she looked down as he sat on the bed once again , he touched her cheek making her flinch, he looked down at her admiring her beauty.. " I know it will become a struggle therefore I will take it off but you're banned from leaving my chamber for a month."

" b...but , a month , your .. majesty , I will go insane, and you're always out working ... please I really won't be able to endure it. "

he moved his face close to her neck caging her between his arms , he kissed his mark making her shake a little " is my little mate rebelling against my word ?" he spoke his voice so deep she shivered

" n..no I'm just ... I .." she couldn't form a sentence..

" I'm a king little wren , you're not just my wife, you're like anyone else in the kingdom a submissive who should obey my word no matter what."

she felt him put a blade in her heart with his words, she turned around her back facing him turning into a little ball , she started crying silently , but he was aware of her tears .

" saying what I said doesn't mean that you're not precious .. it means that my orders apply on everyone in my  kingdom ." he put her on his lap effortlessly kissing her cheek , he unchained her , looking at her face she was still looking down sniffing like a toddler .

" little mate , you're the closest to my heart, you know that , and you know that I would turn anything that threatens your happiness to ash , but I don't want a disobedient mate." he spoke attempting to comfort her ..

in no time two maids entered -after getting his permission - with a tray of food , " put it on the table ." he ordered .. they bowed and left

" go eat .. " he tapped her bottom.
she looked at him , so hot, so handsome, she just can't take it , she stood up from his lap walking towards the living room's table .. she ate in silence as he sat next to her , appreciating how beautiful she is .

her cherry lips, her adorable features , he had to stop thinking about it before losing control and damaging what he have built between them so far ..

she finished eating , maids cleaned after her as she stood up ..
he walked towards her engulfing her in his embrace, he looked down at her as she did look up at him curiously, " let's go to sleep ." he spoke trying to keep calm .

she walked towards the bed carefully until it hit her , she was no more in her dress , but a comfortable night gown.. she stopped on her track earning his attention .

" my dress !!? " she questioned
" a maid changed it , I was busy with work .."
she nodded preceding to lay on her side of the bed..
